Perfect example of "How to Tell a Story about Characters through only Action". Bond here is careless, destructive and inexperienced compared to the person he's chasing. He only matches up by his will and being innovative. Great intro to a new Bond.
...did you miss the part where mollaka drop kicks the welder off the ledge, which by doing so causes a massive explosion? I agree with your point about telling the story through the scene rather than words but they are both careless and destructive it wasn't just bond.
@@Hoeskiesvideos it was Bond who caused all the clusterfuck and made everyone be on alert. Molaka was extremely fast and quiet, he probably would've just snuck through

He's not as agile or fluid as Mollaka, but he's still very athletic and most importantly he just doesn't give up. Pure perseverance. And although he's brutish at times, he's also a quick thinker.
@eating sugar no papa Well, I rate the movie 3 stars out of 5 because I hated how they made Blofeld as Bond's long lost brother. Kinda like Austin Powers all over again.
The way Mollaka moves carrying his backpack full of equipment which is heavy and wearing his jacket which being in Madagascar is really hot just shows how skilled this guy really is what an absolute badass
CASINO ROYALE is an absolutely fantastic Bond-film..... And Craig is just amazing in this one, and the film has my favorite Bond-girl, Vesper Lynd played by Eva Green..... This film feels so fresh ,coming out after the BROSNAN ERA, and right after the outlandish DAD and marks a reboot in the franchise..... The best part in this scene is when Bond catches the gun thrown by MOLLAKA..... CASINO ROYALE is surely in my top 10 list of Bond-films.....

I watched this scene of Parkour Chase Scene almost 100 times, yet I don't get bored! One of the best and iconic scenes from James Bond Franchise. I love the theme tune as well, very pacy.
This scene was exciting, daredevilish and edge-of-the-seatish enough to bring someone out of a deep coma! It was heartpounding and exceptional! Even Jackie Chan should be impressed.
Rarely we a action scene as good as this one these days. Now, practically everything in a scene, of a live action film, is CGI, with zero tension, drama, character development, nothing, just display of technology, product placement, witch is the main characters itself, yeah, I mean the superheroes, or super products. What a great film and amazing James Bond, played by Daniel Craig.
The best part about this film was how MANY masterfully explosive scenes like this it managed to fit in. For lesser movies, any of these individual scenes would be the final action of the film; but here, many of them came within the first hour and a half.
Imagine the doctor giving Bond a physical. Doctor: Mr Bond, you are thirty years old, but have the bones of a seventy year old. What are you doing to yourself? :D
"Casino Royale" is one of the very best Bond films. Actually top three for me! Timothy Dalton said of "Casino Royale" and the famous parkour chase: "The first 25 minutes of 'Casino Royale' is something I would have died to have done". I think David Arnold deserved an Oscar for his score. 1. Dr. No 2. From Russia with Love 3. Casino Royale 4. Licence to Kill 5. Goldfinger
This is probably the best footchase ever made.
WH250398 Agreed, although I think the one from The Bourne Ultimatum is even better.
What about carchase? I think Die Another Day is the best of all.
