CASINO ROYALE | Collapsing Villa

- Bond fights to get to Vesper Lynd in the collapsing Venice building in CASINO ROYALE. The sinking Venetian villa was filmed on this day in 2006 in Pinewood’s 800,000 gallon paddock tank. Director Martin Campbell said: “Water always dictates its own pace in terms of schedule. Patience is what it’s all about. The actors have to get themselves prepared, and you can only do so many takes because of the chlorine in their eyes.”
The wise man built his house upon the rock. The foolish man built his house upon the sand.
The Italian built on water.
Because it's soooo cool! :D
Economy
On a marsh. Or as some ancients might say, "a Pisa."
Best Bond film for sure. I really fell in love with Daniel as Bond in Casino Royale!
He's the best bond
Deffff. I'd make a good new bond though
...is that you, Vesper...?
I HAVE FILMJAT DONDE TROVARSI MO
CASINO ROYALE is perhaps the film where BOND shows his emotional side or human side, the most and the ending of this scene is always heartbreaking ..... Craig just nails it..... And Eva Green as Vesper Lynd is my favorite Bond-Girl.....
Daniel Craig's Bond is the emotional Bond in general
Pierce Brosnan's Bond is the badass one
Timothy Dalton's Bond is the cold one
Roger Moore's Bond is the dandy one
George Lazenby's Bond is the young one
Sean Connery's Bond is the ruthless one
George Lazenby's Bond lost his wife. And it about crushed him.
@@vex123 True... And more to come in 2021... ✌️
@@tiebrkr4231 but craigs bond is literally more of all those things ... except dandy lol
@@tiebrkr4231 Daniel Craig is emotional and ready to fight genre
That silent moment when lift dropped under water was heartbreaking. Great performance by both actor's.
Right
4:23 the most impressive and sentimental scene in whole movies ever
I can't describe this feeling
Always entertaining. Never boring.
Even the borning parts aren’t boring
The best Bond movie of all time!!😍
Poor Vesper😥. She's my favorite Bond girl.
Best in my opinion. Different era and scale
But my favourite Dr . Madelene
Vesper is a cheatee
Is she died or is he saved her? I didnt watch the full film.
@@berkardayldrm1793 she 💀⚰ in the film....
The fact some people believe that Vesper locking herself in on purpose gives away the effect of the scene. No. It gets even more emotional when you realize she regrets her decision at last second. As she looks into the eye of the man who really loved her. Her life is fading away and she could've stopped it. That's even more heartbreaking than the "I can't escape" cliché
Why did she do it though?
@Joshua Hartwell - TAFE Work & Projects sorry, I meant why did she betray him at all? Her off-screen boyfriend hardly seems compelling enough
@LT - Video. that’s why she teared up after Bond woke up. She was genuinely in love with Bond, but as M put it later in the ending, she knew this would end with her death.
although without swimming goggles at best they could see vague expressions of eachother from that distance
Rest In Peace Chris Cornell.. 1964 - 2017
Go go get away
0:12 I like to think Vesper's expression throughout this is that of shock, awe, and terror in the face of just how driven Bond is in this moment.
In the novel Vesper commits suicide and so she does in here but in the novels it’s a little different.
But I must say I really like this version of Vesper’s death.
Probably the best stunt they've ever done in a Bond movie.
Some great action here. Altho they didn't sink a villa in real life 😂
What about the slide flute corkscrew lol
Sonnykingcomposer, they actually sink the villa in studios by building a big set, the whole scene was shot underwater as well, watch behind the scenes of this video , very impressive actually.
This is a marvelous and strong feeling sense in Bond movie
The reason why James Bond has an aiming so skilled, if because he knows how to nail his opponent.
Hhhhhhhhhhhghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhggg
Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggggggg
Hhhhhhhhhhhhbhhhhhhhhhghhhhhhyghhggghgg
Best craig bond film
3:08 - Nailed him.
He hit the nail on the head
Profile Pic checks out
2:58 positively shocking
I think he got the point
That's what she said
The best Bond of all time!!
What an awesome scene!!! What a spectacular movie!!!!The best Bond of all time!!
2:20 If you play it slowly, you'll see Bond use his Omega Seamaster watch as knuckle dusters, just like how he uses his Rolex in the novel👍
And still, we see the effect of Vesper's death resinate once again in No Time To Die. Can't wait!
How? 😦

The best Bondmovie !!
The best action movie!😍
In cinema history!
I have to say Tracy‘s death easily touched me more than Vesper.. Because at the end we learn that Vesper was betraying and using Bond while Tracy truly loved him
Vesper loved Bond. She knew that she betrayed him. The whole reason she was paying them the amount was to save Bond.
Vesper never knew that this will go wrong and that Bond has to her ugly side. Out of embarrassment, she committed suicide.
@@jish344 Not only out of embarrassment, she probably knew even if she survived this whole collapsing and drowning building thing, Quantum/Spectre will never let her live in peace again - even if she could hide from them, she would never have the same life again, she broke Bond's trust and the trust of her country, maybe she would have been jailed as well for treason. (And don't forget, in the perspective from Vesper - she never knew Quantum/her "kidnapped boyfriend" betrayed her as well.)
You're right. She would not have had a hope in hell
Im in venice every 4 months and i was 7 when they were shooting this scene here i still remember like it was yesterday wow!! Movie was AMAZING
My favorite James Bond movie of all time ever ...
More and more Casino Royale clips please....
God I love this movie so much
As much as I love Eva Green you couldn't pay me enough money in the world to jump into that 3:57
Best bond film prove me wrong
One of the deepest scenes of the Bond franchise. Amazing....well maybe not, how after Vesper shimshammed James to the 50th and he still dived in after without the slightest hessitation. Power of the kitty is real.
No men is immune. 😂

The best action movie of all time!!🚀
This is my favorite bond movie of all.
Daniel Craig was great.
Il più grande film di 007 per ora!! In attesa di No time to die!!♥️
Grande hype!!
Eheh meno di 5 mesi dai
Ben detto
It’s very faint but Bond uses his watch as brass knuckles in this scene to punch a guy
Graigs best Bond, film the last 20 mins amazing poor vesper.
The title is very good. This toughest diver is the only one who survive.
James Bond my idol
Now I remember why Bond was so miserable later. He thought he was the one who caused Lynd's death.
Kinda feel first which never happens, great movie
I like this scene.
The best Bond ever!
Incredible movie!!
Craig Kicks Arse as the Most Realistic 007 Bond Period !
Kinda really sad that she drowns in the very water that bond causes to flood the building
Amo questo film!!♥️
Me. It was all me James. It's always been me, the author of all your pain.
That is something to think of....
La scena più commovente di sempre!! Can't wait for No time to die!!🥶😭💘🖤🔥🇮🇹
Don't save her. She don't wanna be saved.

So GOOD !
Great movie
The difference between him and formers that he shows everything at the very same moment..it's love hate or revenge...
So sad!😭
There isnt an elevator in this building, the building is the elevator.
most nightmarish drowning scene ever...so realistic it's horrible.
Amo questo film
The best Bond ever
GEORGE LAZENBY , WAS THE FIRST BOND "SHOW HIS EMOTIONAL SIDE" , TRAGIC FINAL....................
James where's the guy with the eyepatch?
Well I think I caught his eye
What happened?
Alas, the Bond girl he ought to have saved for his own sanity.
The way Venice is built and the original footprint of this home, this scene would not be possible as it's all mineralized wood stakes underneath and not hollow like here, the inflatable balloon are at time used to stabilize a structure during a construction fix, but again knowing the way the city is built, it's not just a building holding up by air bladder without anything underneath, we've all been fooled.
... ... ...ABSOLUTELY!, the best bond movie of "all time"; and that is saying ALOT!; But "Casino Royale" us one of the top 30 movies of "all time"; i say "30" because thier are so many "great movies" that do not even get "credit!"; i have this movie at #5... ... ...Period(!)
love Brother brent!
... ... ...the only part of the movie, that was "classless", and "not good"; was the bond torture seen, in the chair... ... ...
besides that, the "dynamics" were above and beyound anything... ... ...; as dramatic and sentual, emotionally!... as the music in "you only live twice"... ... ...
They did Vesper dirty in QOS, they made her seem like some fool who got tricked by a con man.
“I love you James! Now I must kill myself for no reason!”
“But I killed all the bad guys!”
This scene is like if Canadians made a disaster movie
italy is featured a lot in the craig era. four times. skyfall the only one where it wasn't.
Daniel Craig was the only actor who did justice for 007 character
And he is the best for bond 007 .
Never noticed before that she deliberately locked herself into the elevator.
Good 👏
in the end, her sacrifice could be unnecessary because Bond managed to kick out those doors and there was a chance for her rescue.
She chosed to kill herself
Craig is most badass bond
Awesome
I can't watch the end of this. Too distressing.
Film immenso!!
Why didbshe throw the key away? That was 100% suicide or not?
Yeah it was suicide, she locked herself in there deliberately
I dont get it. She didn't have to commit suicide.

So... Bond Kill indirectly Vesper when he shoots those three yellow air tanks. Good job, Bond, you made yourself.
Why did she commit suicide??? ☹️😣
