He certainly is. I will never tire of his videos. His knowledge of the subject matter and passion for our hobby is second to none. Couple that to the plethora of fine timepieces he brings to us several times a day. Makes his channel the best in the business. 🇬🇧
@@charlottejet4338 It's amazing isn't it? After watching probably hundreds of his video's, and so often hearing the same thing over and over and over again, I never really get tired of it. He makes every video like you're watching a review from him for the very first time Tim's a cold steel professional with incredible retention of knowledge and the charisma to sell a dry piece of toast to a shark. He'd make a feared lawyer.
@@1000lightyrs I think you've hit the nail on the head; "knowledge and charisma" plus his presentation keeps his audience captivated and thinking 'WOW" I want that watch!
I have the DJ41 silver with smooth bezel and jubilee bracelet, never thought this would be a uncommon combination. Constantly surprised by how versatile the timepiece is.
Got the same, but with black dial. Grat combo in my opinion. I‘m tired of all the Daytonas, GMTs and Subs. I mean, this are great watches, but it‘s slowly annoying!
I have the Azzuro Blue- same combo imo the best possible combo- don't have to worry about scratching the gold fluted bezel also really dressy for every occasion as well as all steel the prefect sports watch
I like the new style of video. Love the datejust 41. I got mine exactly a year ago today I walked in to a Rolex authorized dealer and they just happen to be unboxing newly arrived watches and my white dial all steel datejust was there. When I asked for either white or black all steel the manager walked out of the back and handed it to be fresh out the plastic. 🎉
I have the exact DJ41 you featured here, Tim. I agree with everything you said. It is the sportiest (and most versatile) new Datejust. The perfect GADA luxury time piece.
I bought the jubilee smooth bezel, silver dial.. to sell for a profit. But I put it on and I think I am gonna keep it. The smooth bezel and jubilee band make a nice subtle combination. Just the smooth bezel looks like it is gonna be a scratch magnet.
Great review! As always, I love your use of vocabulary and knowledge. Very interesting and helpful! I have three of them including the Wimbledon. I love them all but I really don’t wear them as I am not a dressy type of person still they are lovely to wear on certain occasions!
Great description of the Datejust. I don't understand why is it not among the great steel sports watches. For the price point, its punching above its weight. May be its not that rare as others.
Great review! I considered DJ41 for my first ‘real’ watch some years ago, but went with the Aqua terra. It felt like better value for money. And like the best decision for my old self that thought one watch would do it.
Great review Tim! One point I'd have to object with is the size. I own half a dozen Rolex including the Datejust 41 and the 42mm Explorer 2 and the Datejust just wears considerably smaller than my 42mm Explorer 2, in fact, IMO it wears much closer to my 39mm Explorer 1. Cheers
@@tudorserban111 It's funny, I just received my DJ41mm a couple of weeks ago and I hadn't measured it until I saw your reply and you're banging on, it is a smidge under 40mm in diameter. Thanks for the information and again, I'd have to disagree with T. Mosso on the wearing experience.
I adore the Datejust. Oddly enough, I was playing with the Rolex watch tool today and making my ideal Datejust. I could have had one last December but, I opted for the two tone Yacht-Master with the chocolate dial. With that in mind, I've really got an itch for a JLC Globemaster. Two very different watches and a joy to own. Oh guys, decisions, decisions....
Silly. He says we can get this watch from an authorized dealer for $7900 after waiting a few months, but at the end of the video there is a listing which says preowned (AKA USED) versions of this watch range from $11,000 - $13,000.... Don't get your hopes up.
What would the world of watch horology be without Mr. T Mosso, this guys a legend 👑
Tim ‘The Legend’ Mosso

I have the same watch in a Oyster bracelet. Yes, my sentiment exactly.

Tim, this review style is absolutely great.
Would love to see a similar history video for the calatrava, reverso and other icons
Such a great vid! Thanks man

Love this series.
Great work as always by Tim and the team.
As always, Rolex never disappoints when it come to quality function sports watches!
I got on the wait list three weeks ago for the silver dial with oyster bracelet. Got the call and picked it up today.
The smooth bezel of the 41 is so much more attractive than 36

The "41" is misleading. The actual size is 39.5mm.

Great review! I had no clue that the date just 2 went through various changes over the years.
Give us some omega stuff. I possibly can't learn anymore about Rolex since every channel has covered Rolex for the last 2 years straight.
Love and very happy I got my DateJust 41 before it got crazy. My Local Tampa AD said no more list for 2022, not getting any Rolex’s in for the year.
Awesome show
Great review, Tim. The Datejust is definitely my favourite watch. I prefer 36 mm size.
Absolutely… after the Datejust 2 and a 41 Wimbledon.. now my Favourite from the Datejust line is the 36 TurnOGraph

I have thus 2021 DJ but in 36mm. Smooth and oyster is the way
I just got the two tone Oysterquartz DJ. Absolutely love it. Great video, Tim!
That intro >>>
Very instructive. Stainless steel DJ is like Goldilocks -- not too big, not too small, . . . 'Just right.
Great vid , Tim - if any Rolex can be considered under appreciated , it’s the DJ . I’m really glad that the DJ2 did go the way of the dodo however
Actually is very appreciated, and hard to get
Datejust has been in high demand for better part of half century
I wish they would offer a no lume option.
To everyone, the black dial the most versatile
Great to see your face!
Salut merci m3ak lmaachi Marocain
Nice review but much prefer the Datejust 2 over the 41 ..still both fantastic watches..also a hard pass on the GS
I like the original DJ ll, it’s bigger and more masculine! A true 41 at 40.6
The new one it’s smaller and only 39.4
Facts!
good salesman for sure.
I would buy one if it comes with the chocolates.
126300❤️❤️❤️😍😍
This is a good video, but honestly, I haven't seen a waking up with watches in weeks. What's the deal with that?
I'm with you...missing those inventory shows.
Lug to lug is 47.5, not 51
He said Link to Link not L2L
Nixie tube FTW

fkn legend
A face with voice!
Tim please enough of the Rolex.....
15cm? :)) put it on that wrist and show me how it looks. 18cm at least!
you have a gift
so plain, boring and over rated and they want 7900 ..lol what a joke ..
Talk about polishing a turd.
Face facts , it's badly designed.
