My Windows 10 system has an issue where the hard drive will NOT wake upon trying to power up after sleeping. I have posted about this issue on some forums and haven't found a solution. I feel as though this issue has been present for what seems like a year and a half or more now. I know the hard drive is the issue here because the "status" light on my tower does NOT blink when powering up from SLEEP. I have also attempted turning hybrid sleep on and off and it makes no difference. The next strange thing is, as a result I will have to hold down the power button and force a hard reboot. But then when I turn the computer back on it boots with the START MENU open which seems to be the default power on state AFTER sleep. So somehow the computer still thinks it is being awaken from sleep. Hopefully this description makes sense. I have searched and haven't found an issue identical as this one is. But after various Windows Updates and driver updates it has still not resolved itself. And I DO feel as though it was a Windows Update in early 2020 that caused this problem to begin with.
Bro i just uninstalled that amd radeon software which i now remember that when I downloaded the amd radeon software for my laptop from that day onwards my laptops on indicator light stopped blinking and my laptop stopped waking up when putting to sleep just as u said and just now i thought that this software might be the problem and i tried and uninstalled it and now my laptops looks like is back to normal try it if u also installed the radeon software. Maybe Might work for you
@@wrkrebel My desktop computer is the only computer I have encountered to have this problem, and it seems like it popped up after I upgraded my power supply as well as my graphics card. However nothing else changed because the Nvidia Geforce software I have installed is the same as it was before with the previous Nvidia graphics card I had. I have another Windows 10 laptop which has no issues as I just used the sleep functionality last night, and my family has various other desktop and laptop computers also running Windows 10. I have no idea what the resolution will be, other than that I haven't used the sleep functionality on my desktop computer at all and only use shutdown as a result. Unfortunate but not the end of the world I suppose.
@@jackoliver1610 the graphics drivers have been updated many times throughout the last year and a half as has windows 10. And I just tested sleep mode recently again, same issue persists. It's not that the hard drive isn't prepping for sleep but it's that it doesn't wake up. Like I said I have to hard power off if I wake from sleep. And then if I power on the second time it boots as if it were asleep. It's difficult to explain and maybe it would be best described if I made a video.

If you've done everything that is being suggested and still no luck, remember..(The bios controls the peripherals...Mouse, Keyboard etc..) so update your bios and watch the computer wake up instantly the next time you set it sleep by just moving the mouse.

The power management option is not coming only, the tabs finish at ‘resources’ in the last method (the first 2 didn’t work)
