Seems to me that this is an issue. I was forced to do a system update on my computer the next time it restarted and now that the update has taken place, I am having this issue. 🤦🏾♀️ How frustrating. My warranty just expired at the end of May. What a coincidence.

I fixed the problem. I just kept it for 8 hrs or more in sleep mode and opened it again.. It updated the system and other things which I do not know.. Then it opened and I found out that it was as back as before and nothing was deleted.😊. I went through it today to find the laptop which gets hang from time to time is not hang today.. No one knows tomorrow.. 😅 I also learned that we must update it from time to time when it asks. That was my mistake..😆
For real, I usually when I see that it needs an update I just leave it for later, now my pc is stuck on sleeping mode since yesterday. Guess I gotta wait 8 hours too
So when I close the laptop and open it again it's dead the white light blinds but nothing happens. Same thing if I leave it too long it go to sleep and not wake up. Even when I do put it on sleep it won't wake up. Also the computer is slow and has a WiFi problem. I tried what the video said but nothing changed

But this method is difficult so what should I do please 😭 even though my keyboard wont wake it up
Of course if you’re already in sleep mode and we’re waiting in a line for 2 hrs on line for your turn online, now it goes into sleep mode and there’s no way to wake it up to start following the steps. LOL unless I missed something?
I cannot wake my computer up from sleep. Period. So I cant access any menus to change any setting, or update bios, nothing. Long press power button doesnt work. Pressing sleep button, or Enter, or any key, or clicking trackpad, nothing will get it to wake up. I did get a warning that my system clock was wrong a couple days before all of this happened. I was running Linux Mint and put it in sleep mode when this started.

Elitebook Revolve 810 G3, bought refurbished with Win 10 Pro. No "Power management" tab at the keyboard properties. Need the laptop to wake from sleep when lid is opened. That option is vital for my mom who can't operate the computer. Failing that, at least how to get it to wake with a key press? Neither option is working. Help. The "Lid open action" in Power management is set to "Turn on the display" for both "On battery" and "Plugged in", but it has no effect on waking the laptop. The "Power buttons and lid" heading was actually missing and I got it there by running a script posted at the "superuser" site at the page titled "Did Microsoft hide the 'Power buttons and lid' category by default in advanced power settings starting from version 2004?" This is really frustrating. I have an hp 8640p with same issue, but I lived with it for years as only I use it. But this new purchase definitely needs the option!

I know the CPU does wake up because the keyboard light on and also can hear the fan starting up, but the screen does not wake nor the face recognition leds light up when i open the lid or press enter nor the trackpad. Anyone have a similar problem?
I think I just solved this problem for good. Let me guess, your spectre 360 has an nVidia card in it and has thunderbolt or at least USB-C type 3? Right?
@@techankhamun838 yes! Indeed it has a gtx 1050 ti max and 2 thunderbolt 3 usb c. It's the diamond cut corners 2019 model. How did you solve it? Will you post a video on your channel? Thank you for replying!
@@yohalmo Thank you for your reply. I have literally contacted windows, HP, and even Dell came to me twice and failed to solve this issue so I decided to look up everything related to this issue for weeks and I think I finally figured it out. I haven't have the problem for a day now since I applied the solution to my laptop but I'm going to wait today and maybe tomorrow just to double check it's 100% gone then I'll post the solution here and as a video in my channel as well. I believe this whole issue is a conflict between the Nvidia driver controlling the USB-C port in a way that conflicts with how the power state changes in the sleep mode especially when the system goes from sleep to hibernate; thus you mainly find this issue in systems spec'd with both Nvidia and some sort of USB-C. It's more of an Nvidia and Windows miscommunication fault rather than Dell's, HP's, etc fault. I have seen this issue reported on all kind of laptops. Can I ask you if you have anything connected to your laptop when this issue happens? Like a mouse, external keyboard, Flash driver, anything like that? Even in a normal USB-A it doesn't have to be USB-C? Thank you
@@techankhamun838 that's quite a break down of the issue! I don't have that much knowledge to even suspect anything usb driver related. Anyway, about your question, for me the issue appears in any situation: with the original charger plugged in, with a usb-c thunderbolt hub and several devices attached, and also when nothing is connected... There's something I do noticed. It happens more often when something like Netflix, Disney or any multimedia is running, even if the window is minimized, and also when the camera is enabled.

The "Power buttons and lid" heading was actually missing and I got it there by running a script posted at the "superuser" site at the page titled "Did Microsoft hide the 'Power buttons and lid' category by default in advanced power settings starting from version 2004?"
This is really frustrating. I have an hp 8640p with same issue, but I lived with it for years as only I use it. But this new purchase definitely needs the option!
Also I"ve ran the HP Support Assistant and did the BIOS update and software installs etc.

Anyone have a similar problem?
+Yohalmo Miguel Herrera González Please follow the guidelines under this document to fix this issue: hp.care/2nB4vkq
I can't restart it...
