The carnival glass plate is not cracked. If you think it is, you are seeing the light reflect off of a mold line. Don't worry.....it's not cracked.

Hey Scott, off the subject, how much for the metal folk art NY Empire building? Can’t remember which video it was but you also showed some 78’s in that one. Thanks, Freda

Right! There are also lines sometimes from the straw they used to pack the glass as well. I’m not sure why the straw was part of the process but that’s what I was taught.

I was very moved by the folk art metal train/village props and buildings. Whoever made these worked hard on them with love and it shows. It made me sad to think things like this get discarded. 😢 God planned for you to find these treasures so they'll to the right home. I sound like I'm talking about someone leaving a baby on your doorstep. Lol. Thank you Scott.

Whoopee Fizz Brigade?... That, right there, is why we love your content and keep coming back for more… Scott, you are one in a million! Also, thank you for rescuing the altered ‘clock topper’ (I think she ‘might’ be depicting the Greek Goddess, Erato, the Muse of lyric poetry ?) I hope that you take that ridiculous socket out of her head and return her to her original purpose adorning a mantel clock. I think she's wonderful!... Finally, I love that you take such good care of the birds and squirrels that come to visit you... If they could 'talk', they would most certainly thank you for your sweet kindness and, of course, the peanuts! Thank you for another charming video and let's have a Record Party soon! 😍

Hey, Scott - greetings from the UK.
What a great haul. Love the wooden box with the maritime painting on the lid. That type of imagery never fails to make me think of my long-departed dad (who spent his youth in the navy, and retained a life-long love of the sea and sailing).
Can so empathise re the tooth situation! The old metal filling liberating itself from whence it has nestled for decades... The discovery that the tooth is cracked... The extraction... Yep - been there. Wishing you speedy healing, before you get too fed-up of the soft foods!

The box with the sailing ships is excellent. When my husband passed I looked in his manly accoutrements. Quite a treasure trove: A money clip I had given him, stray fuses for dashboards, His wedding ring due to the fact he worked with machinery, a Devo pin from the 80s, a small Allen wrench and a ticket stub to a concert we saw together. I always wondered what was in there. His personality was!! 🙏🏻❤️

The most charming by far is your kind heart feeding your one-eyed lady squirrel. You find the most wonderful pieces. The folk art is a treasure. Despite the different scale I think I would keep the entire set together. I envision them at opposite ends of a train set up with one end being the village and in the distance a city. Just my thoughts…I’m intrigued by the two marches on the one 78 record you purchased. My retired band director husband loves obscure marches and was well known for finding them and performing them at contests with his bands as part of his adjudged concert performances throughout his 43 year career. You’re an accomplished musician so I know you will appreciate his niche. I’m so sorry you lost a tooth and are enduring the healing process. Instant mashed potatoes and soft scrambled eggs are a definite improvement over broth!

Hi Scott! In regards to your plants out on your porch your parlor palm will tolerate 50° anything below that will harm it especially if it’s by a window a door or anywhere where it can get a cold draft. If your ferns a Boston fern, basically the same thing. Most house plants can’t tolerate anything below 50°.
