If you can notice, there are some glitchings in my voice in the later part of the video, it has nothing to do with the software setup but more on my hardware. I think it is my XLR cable or Phantom Power Messing up. I will upload a gameplay with this setup and I hope that those problems will be gone by then. thank you!
I just installed a cheap BM800 so your tutorial was very helpful for me, I use VoiceMeeter Banana and it worked just perfect for me. Stay safe over there in the Philippines, I live in The Netherlands but I have lived and worked over in your beautiful country. Thanks again.
some cheap soundcard like v8 and f8live is capable of driving this BM800 and other condenser mic. you can consider trying one... very good step by step tutorial sir.
I actually got a V8 soundcard recently, however my copy of the V8 isn't great as it gives more noise than my current setup, I am planning on getting a Ground Loop Isolator for it and hopefully it works. I still would love to get my hands on the Behringer UM2 soon!
why doesn't it detect microphone equalizer settings :/ ? Works with A1 button pressed but I can't stop echo :/ My equalizer settings do not work even when the A1 button is turned off....Master Section Equalizer on button B1 is not active and not working
Nice tutorial bro, im still testing so much with the same microphone that you have, finding the best voice position for a normal player like smartphone or something, becouse by PC i have a G430 headset that have nice bass, but in cellphone the sound is so diferent
hmm I know that the microphone doesn't work unless you have an adapter to your phone. Do you use one? It may sound different because you actually might not be using the microphone. I used to have a G430 too! I can agree that it sound great! I hope the video helped! Goodluck!
it is a generic phantom power you can find in shopee and lazada. any 48v phantom power will work with your microphone as long as you have the proper xlr cables. Thanks for watching! I will make an updated tutorial soon. minor changes with the microphone setup to make it sound even better!
I have a BM-800 also a 48v Phanntom Power, unfortunately, when I record, there is a lot of static hiss//rain, I have set my noise gate to 9.9 already just to mitigate the hiss. What could have caused this?
hmm try lowering your volume on the settings, if this doesn't work try picking up a Ground Loop Isolator. it could be a grounding issue. also note that since BM-800 is a condenser microphone, it picks up a lot of background noise too.
Why I hear some static in my earphones in voicemeeter and then when I use phantom power, even my db is at +20 and 70 microphone boost, I still can't hear myself, it is kinda muffled. Im using Realtek HD audio in my b450 mortar max mobo, and it is plugged straight into the pc, is there any fix?
@@tolentinoracingteam4775 I tried phantom power, but it makes my mic really quiet hahaha, at first I thought the phantom power is broken, but I tested it to my laptop but it is working fine

Hi, you don't actually need phantom power since its an electret mic, so it doesn't require external phantom power. But if it does make it sound the best, then it is advisable to use it.
It is a good beginner microphone. However since it is a condenser microphone, it picks up a lot of noise and does have some humming in it. Pairing this with a Good Audio Interface will help. This mic doesn't work to it's best out of the box. having Phantom Power will boost it though, but won't easily remove noise

@@NotGenome I just used a usb external soundcard. I boosted the mic and used Krisp software to remove background noise. Sounds really good and payed only £8 for it lol
i actually does not, turns out it was a faulty XLR cable. besides, The BM-800 is a condenser microphone. and a cheap one at that. It was never designed to sound the best. Which is why I made this video

This was very helpful! Pero I can still hear myself when I turn on reverb, also my mic sounds broken on discord.
hello, make sure to disable the A1 option. I do not know why it sounds broken on discord as I have been using it without problem

the built in motherboard i/o. I do not use an external soundcard. I just mentioned that a soundcard would benefit if you are running on a laptop
