for the bm-800,phantom power supply and the v8 soundcard did it have any buzz noise for you? (i have the phantom supply and a bm mic but all i need is the soundcard and im just wondering should i buy it or not)
Sorry for the late reply, it didn't really have any buzzing noise and it's definitely a good investment to improve the sound quality, but even without it I think it's good enough
It works without the phantom power but I believe you'll have to cut out the video card from the setup. Mine works without the video card and the power supply.
Thank you for this demo... Please, can you tell us the specifications od USB-mcrousb power adapter... maybe it's the same like one I use for cellular phone...
It won’t record audio if you don’t use a splitter, because it’s designed to go into two ports (which it goes to the mic port) like on a PC, so it is necessary
@@BlueCJTech yes, some mic condenser I saw it's come with xlr-3.5mm jack. that i want to know what happen if we change that cable (xlr-3.5mm) replace with xlr-xlr cable and use with power phantom 48v.
Hey, I appreciate the tutorial. I've been banging my head against the same installation. Question: Is the audio splitter required? It looks like the coming from Line 1 is a TRRS? Could you just plug it directly into the phone and plug your earphones into the headset jack? Thank you.
Thanks for watching. The reason as to why I used the audio splitter on the phone is probably because the mic's only for input, and at least in my experience it doesn't record audio without it. On PC though the splitter isn't necessary since you have the two separate ports for input and output
Hi, I have recently started a budget home setup. I am using cond mic ,V8 sound card, but don't have a phantom power. Although sound is decent, but just heard the difference in connecting phantom power, thanks for live demo 😊
If your PC has separate input and output ports for audio, then you'll just plug them normally. No need for a splitter because only devices with one port need them

The audio splitter? I think it has to do with the microphone not really meant for the single headphone jack of phones. Because if you use the microphone on a PC for example, you just plug it in the input port and it'll work. Basically, it won't record without it which was my issue beforehand

Please anyone help me out its a request,, What should i do for the background noise?? I just want the fresh vocal without any noise issue... Then what should I do or what kind of setup i need to do if i've the BM-800 and the phantom power only??
You can make up for the background noise by physically fixing the issues in your room, for instance placing soundproofing panels and eliminating other sounds such as a fan. Then, you can digitally reduce the background noise by using any Digital Audio Workstation that has that feature, and Audacity is definitely the easiest tool for that, for Windows at least. There are plenty of tutorials out there and you can watch them
Thanks for doing a setup tutorial 😁 the condenser mic sounds louder but without too much echo and white noise in the background with the Phantom Power Supply 👍👍👍awesome
Ok I get that the phantom gives more power to the microphone so it has enough voltage to produce a good sound, but why the phone? Did I miss something? I don't think serves any purpose here and think it would work just fine without it connected. Again, not sure if I miss something but would be nice if someone could explain the phone part.
@@BlueCJTech ohh ok now I got it. Got really confused about it. It looked kinda odd not gonna lie but now I see that you don't connect the output of the phantom to any laptop/pc. Yes, they come in the package
What about phones with no headphone jack?
You need to use a dongle for that
Is audio splitter necessary? Does it has something to do with avoiding the grounded sound?
The audio splitter is necessary because the phone wouldn't be able to recognize the mic and it won't record audio.
What is the use of splitter? Is this necessary to use?
It won’t record audio if you don’t use a splitter, because it’s designed to go into two ports (which it goes to the mic port) like on a PC, so it is necessary
Why need a splitter when u can just put it directly? Is it to avoid static?
It actually won’t record audio if you don’t use a splitter, because it’s designed to go into two ports (which it goes to the mic port) like on a PC
Thank you so much for this. But can we connect that audio splitter to pc, will it work? Hope you'll reply.
If your PC has 2 ports instead of 1 like on smartphones, you won’t need the splitter
