I love when Seth and the staff enjoy themselves as much as we enjoy watching the show. Makes it so much more genuine.
Zeinoun Awad This is why he was good at Weekend Update. He generally enjoyed whatever characters the other cast members came up with and amplified their performances with his giddiness.
Can't help but see a lot of Conan influences in his work, especially that of the past year. Both cut their teeth at SNL, were given Late Night by Lorne, HEAVILY involve their staff (and those segments REGULARLY crush the celeb interviews for the most part), are masters of improv, self-deprecating, and highly intelligent humor, both have a connection to New England from their formative years... I could go on, and this is just off the top of my head. Raw, audience-less Late Night being a freight train of amazingness has helped me get over my sadness that Conan's time in late night has come to a close (yes, I know about HBO Max, but that's a completely different topic).

It's funny because the original is a joke related to lesbians whereas this one is just a bad pun on oval office related to nothing
Actually, 'oral' isn't exclusive to one gender or sexuality whereas oval orifice would specifically be a vagina joke. ;)
i don't think he even needed to change the name, just put more emphasis on the *OVAL* Office when talking about the lesbian version.
Rob Burgess Well, not really since orifices aren't exclusive to one sex or sexuality either. We all have multiple orifices that can be utilized in sex acts, so it wouldn't be specifally a vagina joke.
