@@imjoshv yeah I had to replace the switch. It's broke. They just sent me out a new one as soon as I needed it and just replace it. And they also sent an additional cord with the circuit breaker built into it just for grins. Great service, great product. Loving it
Commenting late. But you should do the lock ring trick and retest. If you remove the pressure regulator cap, there is a set screw you can back out that will allow you to increase the pressure even more. The more pressure you can get out of it will allow you wiggle room for a higher orifice. On mine, I peaked 2000-2100 psi and then dropped it down to 1100 psi with a 4.0 orifice and got over 2gpm.
I will checkout more reviews, but the quietest of the Adams sold me. Do I need it at my house no, but the quietest has me hooked. My neighbor will appreciate it!
So I bought this machine and it arrived a few days ago. I used it this morning and it is easily the nicest unit I have ever used. Coming from a Ryobi 2300 the Adams pro is silent with instant pressure - can barely hear it over the sound of the water being sprayed. I used the coupon and got the discount so not so bad but easily the last pressure washer I will need to buy. It is heavy so moving around is not the easiest thing. I purchased a cart for it and to organize everything so it is easy to move around and cleans up all the clutter with everything being contained to the cart. Thanks for reviewing it, it was just like what I saw except the one I received was packaged better than in the video.
Good review. IMO, considering the lower side of psi, and medium/high side gpm, the only benefit seems to be how quite it is. The build quality seems nice too. Around 800$ just seems crazy when switching nozzles on machines half the price could hit those numbers. It’s still nice, I just find it overpriced.
I'd price the adams pro at 600 bucks because it's alot similar in specs to the comet1700 but alot bigger but does look more stout nd durable for mobile use then the comet
@@anthonyt4981 if I’m spending that much money on a unit it’s going to be either a gas with industrial Honda engine and CAT triplex pump or a kranzle or AR blue with their triplex pumps and induction motors. Adams rebadges literally everything they sell so I’m pretty sure you could figure out who actually makes it and buy it cheaper from them.
Great video. I called and ordered it today! Thank you. It is hard to express how happy I am with this video, but let me tell you, I literally watched it and made the decision immediately. the selling points were the quality, the cage, the completeness of the kit, the automatic on-off, the 14 amps draw (Awesome), and especially how QUIET it was. We have this pressure washer at our shop and love it. We previously had an AR Blue 630 that lasted for about 4 years, and then briefly a comet 1700 and prefer the Adam's over both of them. It seems very well built, has great output and above all is very quiet. I would heartily recommend the Adam's if you are looking at pressure washers in the $800 range. It seems they have just raised the price to $999 but you can usually get a 20% off code fairly easily. Just wanted to put this out there for those in the market. The AR Blue 630 is great too if you are tight on space but is quite a bit noisier and requires a 20 amp outlet.
I have an AR 630 now, and I really appreciate the tight form factor and overall performance. This Adam's unit is just far too large with an enormous amount of wasted space in its design. There is no reason for it to be as big as it is. If price is an issue, I'd recommend looking at the AR BC 675 at Clean Garage. That unit puts out 2,000 psi and 1.7 GPM in a package about half the size of this monstrosity.
Everyone talks about the form factor and wasted space, I like how this unit is built, especially for a mobile setup, I may be bigger then the AR Blue, but you definitely stack stuff on top, you could mount it. I have a small trailer, but I think it would work well with my compressor. Great video once again.
It definetly classifies as professional as it seems to have a triplex plunger pump as opposed to the wobble plate pump pretty much every regular pressue washer comes with. These are definetly more robust and offer more continues run time as opposed to the regular pumps.
I wanted this machine so bad. After I watched your active reviews, this one quickly came off my wish list. Too bad the ratings are so far off from the actual psi and gpm.... I expect better from Adams..as far as a "MUST" have... I dont think so. Maybe as a pro shop it makes sense...
Thanks for the review. Seems pretty good, but mostly for professionals, which I am not. This would be just too big and bulky for me to easily move around at home, and the numbers it puts out aren't any better than some of the smaller, lower cost units out there. I still think I made a better choice going with the Active VE52 for my use case scenario. It does seem to be a robust, and really well built machine though, and Adams has 20% off (or greater) sales on pretty much a monthly basis, so one can easily get this for under the $899 MSRP.
A tip to try….add item to trunk with 20% code, add all information and do everything but make payment then remove item from cart. In the next 12 hours they may email you a code for 25% off. Renter item to trunk with new code. It is a time limited offer and can only be used one time. So I suggest if you haven’t been sent one before, this is a great suggestion for a big purchase. I did this for their Adams 2.0 power washer. PS I did order the washer with the extension wand option.
Great video. In Wisconsin and washing in the winter in unheated garage. Looking to order this; is it possible to clear the pump and filter of water so it doesn’t freeze?
Would you recommend this over the AR Blue? I’m trying to get a mobile setup up an running, I see all the comments about the higher cost of the unit, but looking at it, Adams includes close to $300 worth of extra features and products, on their website the package includes the wand $60, upgraded hoses another $40-$60, Adams foam canon which is $70. Plus a lot of their Adams mega foam and soaps, definitely over $150 In soaps. I know my prices maybe a little off.. but considering these factors would you say this would be a better entry level then the AR blue?
It works but you are better off converting an old water softener tank with DI mixed bed resin, you can build out a 1 cu ft unit for like $300. The equivalent unit from Adams is $600
That knob is the unloader valve. It's purpose is to do what it's name implies; unload the pressure by re-circulating the water when you let go of the trigger in manual mode.
Kind of hard to justify for the home user. But given the build quality, quietness, serviceability it looks like a nice unit for pro's. I would be interested to see pressure and flow results using the uberflex hose. Great review though!
Is the Adams a rebrand of an AR Blue or something? Just wondering if they actually built their own pump and motor etc or just reused someone else’s and just put their label on it.
I would love to see bosch pressure washers tested by you love the content. 0:50 yes you do just spent 220 bucks to upgrade mine a 150 bucks pressure washer
Good review. By any chance do you know if you are running the washer off of a 15 or 20 amp circuit? I want to get one of these but have a 15 amp breaker for garage and I’m not sure it’ll run it. Thanks man
Adam’s pro! I bought the active 2.0 and then upgraded to this one! You won’t regret it. Performance is very similar, however, the noise level is night and day. The adams pro is so much quieter. The active 2.0 has a high pitched sound. I have mine mounted in my garage so the sound definitely echos. The adams pro pressure you can’t even hear it once you are washing a car.
Hey if you buy two pressure washers you could duct tape the handles together to double your gpm while keeping psi the same. OR take one pressure washer, tape a 2nd hose to the spray wand so the water pours out right in front of the pressure washer nozzle. The high pressure, high speed water will hit the free flowing hose water and accelerate it towards the car you're spraying, giving you the ultimate gpm pressure washer. What about the water inlet pressure? Does that have any effect on the pressure washer pressure and gpm? Could you "boost" the inlet pressure going into the pressure washer?
Hey Josh question. What size orifice are you using that's best for the adams pro pressure washer? I just bought the machine and am looking to see what has worked best for you?
I wonder if some of the GPM for the machine is being lost at the PSI gauge that you added at the gun while doing your review! I don't know what the manufacturer policy is for setting the specs on their machines. Would be interesting to know where they get those readings from specifically. I am impressed at how quiet it is in your RUclips review.
Ar blue 630 has realy good gpm 2.1 at 1.8 psi . I use 25 degree tip and makes cleaning cars a breeze . Only down side but not a bug deal is the delay on the start
If you increase psi, with all other variables being the same, including exit diameter etc, then your GPM is going to go up. There are charts and calculators for this all over the place online. I think all these pressure washers will have a maximum flow rate, even wide open with no nozzle, you will get more gpm from just a regular hose. They will probably scale logarithmically, with gpm/psi. If you put your pressure gauge on the outlet, and a valve after the pressure gauge, you can probably chart gpm/psi on a graph for each pressure washer, and maybe find some washers that perform better than others on gpm, only at specific psi. You could graph them now with just the numbers you already have from measuring psi and gpm with different tips. You could plot multiple pressure washers on a line graph too, just go back to your old videos to get the information and punch them into some graphing software, or free graphing website/app. There might be some interesting information there. I wonder if they would all scale linearly.
Josh, how has that plastic filter been holding up, I like the unit other than that… seems like a major failure point in the entire system if it’s proprietary. I read lots of reviews where people say they like this unit.. but if I’m spending close to $1000 on this, I’ll spring for the extra $$200-$300 for a kranzle
No way I could bring myself to pay that much. I am more than happy with my greenworks 2700psi for a lot less money. Honestly for mobile details a $99 Ryobi works great too, recommend a better hose and wand though. Main reason I upgraded to a greenworks was the extra psi to use an undercarriage cleaner for my truck.
If you have a water tank do you still need to buy water pump ? Or can you just Connect water tank hose to the pressure washer and it has a pump already?
Looks like a decent electric pressure washer, but it has an enormous amount of wasted, hollow space in its form factor. I much prefer the AR630 or Kranzle at a similar price point -- no wasted space with those units.
I was wondering if you ever got the 4.0 nozzles to test out the psi and gpm at that orifice size. With the way it was scaling up it may touch the 2 gpm mark at a decent psi.
Quick question? Why does the overload protection always pops off in auto mode but not in manual mode? The power washer is the only thing plugged in the outlet. Is this normal?
Great review! Although your pressure gauge is reading lower because of friction loss through the hose. That’s where your loosing your pressure and probably not a difference between gauges. So if you have a longer hose you will lose more pressure
Does anyone know if this pressure washer can be gravity fed without any issues? & as well without it having to be on the floor? Wouldn’t want to keep taking it in & out from my truck
my heart! i had a flash back when you smacked the front of the gun with one hand and the other on the trigger! 19:16 when i was young i tried to move the water jet with my finger and sliced it open clean! at least you had an immediate moment where you realized the move you did! ahah but anyway great video! this is the next machine in mind! my gas PW is loud af
Josh I just got my adam’s pro pressure washer but when I connect to my generator not a lot of power I’m using ipower SUA2300i if I connect to house outlet it works. Any advice
You might be losing PSI due to friction loss. Btw, the link to the uber flex under your favorite accessories brings me to an Adam's Pressure Washer. It's also unavailable through Amazon and they don't know if/when it will come back.
that Adam's 2.0 washer is legit. it comes with everything you need, so I don't mind paying 300 for it. I specd out a active v52 and it came out to about the same or more... 🤷♂️
It may been a great electric pressure washer but I really don't think at that price it can compete with a Graco 3700 psi @ 2.7 gpm gas pressure washer that I payed $895 for that is designed for commercial use.
hey guys, i will on the next one! Even though they have a small orifce it doesnt sound like its working the motor harder.. usually you can hear when the motor is running hard
Super pricey but I need something quiet. Is there anything quieter? I don’t have shade on my driveway which usually means washing early morning and I like my neighbors.
AR blue clean with a TSS is $600 bucks . I think for the high cost of Adam’s there’s more options out there . But the Adam’s does have more perks in the bundle .
I know you said you're mounting this in your truck for your mobile jobs, is there a reason you didn't go with another Active? They have a mountable version as well and you could have bought 3 of them for the price of this one. If you didn't already have all of the hoses, wands, etc I see that being a huge plus as it likely saves you another $100-150, but I agree with @timmytot666 that the Active seems a better value.
honestly i just really wanted to test this unit out haha! Since i have it im going to use it. Its definitely more industrial grade than the active so im assuming it will last even longer
Seems like they severely limited their market with this design choice. Weighing in at 100lbs and taking up such a large footprint, I'm guessing this is almost strictly for shop detailers? The Kranzle K1622TS is considered stout at 60lbs, and takes up much less space
It weighs around 65 pounds out of the box. I am not sure where the 100 pounds nonsense is coming from that Adam's is advertising... maybe it's the package weight. I suspect the roll cage is to keep everything protected during shipping.
Depends on the machine… but I like a 40 degree angle. The orifice size is just the whole and sets the psi and gpm so it depends on what pressure washer you’re using
$1000 for that this whole time I’ve been waiting to see how much psi the senior actually puts out got tired of waiting so I went to the website and it only puts out 1800 psi for that big bad thing heck no I’m looking for the strongest electric pressure washer I absolutely hate gas and I’m not dealing with it. I have a septic line that I need to blow out and I’ve got neighbors that complain about noise so I need a minimum of a true 3500 psi coming out of my Jetter tip for my septic pressure washer hose or higher if I could get a pressure washer that’s electric Punching out 5000 to 8000 psi that’s probably what it’s gonna take but they probably don’t even make anything up to 4000 psi
Roy, get the active. It has great gpm and is one third the price of Adam's machine. Of course you will add a better hose and nozzle so that upgrade will be about another 80-90 bucks. Still all of that is under 350

It is true that people see numbers like PSI and GPM and compare those to cheap or “decent” pressure washers on the market and assume this is a rip off. However, Adam’s Polishes specializes in quality and quality has been shown in the video. The quality will also be shown over time since it’s built to last and handle many many vehicles. Usually standard electric pressure washers within the $100-200 range have approximately 100 hours runtime. This one is built to last years

Quick question? Why does the overload protection always pops off in auto mode but not in manual mode? The power washer is the only thing plugged in the outlet. Is this normal?
If it's a multi speed motor, the pump volume will change with RPM of the motor?
Great video! The link in the description for the generator does not work
What do you do with the pressure washers and items after you test them?
Love to know where I can get your ammeter? I see it in all your video's. I bet I'm not the only guy who's thinking that
I would like a pressure gauge like you use can you please tell me the one you use. Thanks.
Great review! Although your pressure gauge is reading lower because of friction loss through the hose. That’s where your loosing your pressure and probably not a difference between gauges. So if you have a longer hose you will lose more pressure
200 psi in friction loss is bit odd. 10-50 psi I could see, but not 200-300.
You should do a review on a Kränzle K1622
thanks for the review bro
DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE!! NO WAY!!!
Really really good review, thx 🙏🏻
Awesome... love your vids bro
Hello would this pump be good for a mobil detailing van with a 100 gallon tank...
By the way your content is amazing..
Thanks and yes!!! That’s exactly what I’m running in my truck set up! 100 gallons gravity fed to this unit
Have you run into any problems so far into it? With a gravity feed system? This is how I was planning on starting.
@@imjoshvhey is the pump already included in this ?
Pretty nice equipment seems to be a bit pricey for a electric pressure washer
Can you run this machine with a smaller orifice for higher PSI?
Does anyone know if this pressure washer can be gravity fed without any issues? & as well without it having to be on the floor? Wouldn’t want to keep taking it in & out from my truck
Did you try it with the Uberflex hose?
my heart! i had a flash back when you smacked the front of the gun with one hand and the other on the trigger! 19:16
when i was young i tried to move the water jet with my finger and sliced it open clean! at least you had an immediate moment where you realized the move you did! ahah
but anyway great video! this is the next machine in mind! my gas PW is loud af
Josh I just got my adam’s pro pressure washer but when I connect to my generator not a lot of power
I’m using ipower SUA2300i if I connect to house outlet it works. Any advice
Yea it sounds like its drawing on the generator too much unfortunatley
Do you use a 1/4 uberhose or 3/8?
You might be losing PSI due to friction loss. Btw, the link to the uber flex under your favorite accessories brings me to an Adam's Pressure Washer. It's also unavailable through Amazon and they don't know if/when it will come back.
that Adam's 2.0 washer is legit. it comes with everything you need, so I don't mind paying 300 for it. I specd out a active v52 and it came out to about the same or more... 🤷♂️
I noticed your phone on the top of pressure washer unit.. Looks like little or no vibration of on the unit.
what electric pressure washer would you recommend. I have a Ryobi 1600 but it keeps tripping on my 2500 watts gen.
3500 is really the min for details. 4500 would be better
It may been a great electric pressure washer but I really don't think at that price it can compete with a Graco 3700 psi @ 2.7 gpm gas pressure washer that I payed $895 for that is designed for commercial use.
The only reason to buy this unit is it’s near silent operation.
I'm in San Diego also. would love to get one of your details on one of my cars, depending on what area you are in. LMK. Thnx
Which Orifice do you use for the Ative 2.0
The active comes with a 3.7 so if I but aftermarket ones I go with 4.0
Active VE52 > this.
Atleast for the DIY
Yea for the diy at home use I agree!!!
So I should buy one of these for 800 bucks or 8 Ryobi pressure washers 🤔
No
Is it ok for the gravity fed system
Josh, can you do a quick check on amperage draw with foam cannon?
This is what I was looking for as well since that will have the highest draw. Great review though!
hey guys, i will on the next one!
Adams is just Chinese junk
I know you said you're mounting this in your truck for your mobile jobs, is there a reason you didn't go with another Active? They have a mountable version as well and you could have bought 3 of them for the price of this one. If you didn't already have all of the hoses, wands, etc I see that being a huge plus as it likely saves you another $100-150, but I agree with @timmytot666 that the Active seems a better value.
honestly i just really wanted to test this unit out haha! Since i have it im going to use it. Its definitely more industrial grade than the active so im assuming it will last even longer
@@imjoshvI'm about to buy this machine and they told me the life span is rated for 500 hrs.
For this price just buy a Kranzle and be done with it. Built like a damn tank. I got the 1322TS thru obsessed garage.
What size of the orfis for the nozzle is ideal for car wash
Depends on the machine… but I like a 40 degree angle. The orifice size is just the whole and sets the psi and gpm so it depends on what pressure washer you’re using
@@imjoshv I am using the Ryobi 1600.
GM JOSH, hope u had a nice weekend. I am still waiting for ur answer to my question bro when ru free pls thx.
sorry about that. just answered!
Great Piece of equipment. I can’t justify the price though my wife would hang me
Roy, get the active. It has great gpm and is one third the price of Adam's machine. Of course you will add a better hose and nozzle so that upgrade will be about another 80-90 bucks. Still all of that is under 350
20% off with an inspection marking - sounds like a refurb
No replacement parts
For that money you'd think they'd package like they cared about their product and reputation
RPM-Revolutions per minute.
Pretty sure that plastic bag on the top should've been around the unit.
This or the Comet 1700 🤷
NOT ME
1st
no way would I pay that Adams is always overpriced
I take this back probably worth the money nicer than I thought it would be

$900??? You can buy two nice gas powered ones with that and have some money left over. Adam's is overpriced as heck!
Yea when it’s worth 12X the cost of decent pressure washers in the market not even a pro should buy this
It is true that people see numbers like PSI and GPM and compare those to cheap or “decent” pressure washers on the market and assume this is a rip off. However, Adam’s Polishes specializes in quality and quality has been shown in the video. The quality will also be shown over time since it’s built to last and handle many many vehicles. Usually standard electric pressure washers within the $100-200 range have approximately 100 hours runtime. This one is built to last years
