A modern contemporary design is starting to emerge and it's beautiful... Be grateful for your snakes because they'll work hard for you. Obviously, the one laying atop the cement was waiting for a rodent looking to find its way inside... Lucky you two, learn to love your snakes...

I've noticed in almost every video from your very first video to date, the wind is always blowing the tree tops around.
Have you ever consider installing a wind turbine power generator?
Texas territory has an average wind speed of 20mph, you wouldn't need a very big one up @ 60 feet.
Don't lose it, harness it! Those cloudy days and all night long you'd be generating extra power needed!

Y'all are just too cute, you got a good man there if he'll let you walk across his back to show him up in a video, that's a good sign. I'm so excited to watch your build, it's amazing. Thanks for sharing your build with us,

Hi there. Enjoying your home project. Just last week on one of our rear windows facing backyard, i saw a shadow through blinds since it was daylight still. When i moved blind, i see it was a grass/rat snake going up the window trying to get a tree frog. I screamed, but knew that's nature. We find dead skin all the time. Still makes me squimish!

I know that this is framed but, hangars need to be installed with joist hangar nails. They are only 1 1/2 inch long for a reason. Second is a 2x4 is only good for 5 foot 6 in length. 2x6 to 8 feet. If you are using sheetrock for a ceiling use 16 inch centers. Also frame the wall so the top of the top plate is 3/4 inch taller than the finished height. Simply put the joist on top. I don't expect these two to become builders but I'm donating my time to help others who may be hoping to learn.

A very very long time ago . . . my family was sitting out on our deck around our large table and getting ready to have Christmas Eve dinner. The sun was setting and my great uncle started screaming because a snake had fallen down from 'the sky' onto his head. Long story . . . we discovered that a bunch of them would somehow climb on our roof during the day to sun themselves and then at sunset they would all climb down. They always seemed to crawl to the edge of the roof and then deliberately dive down to the ground. We don't live there anymore and to this day we call it "the snake house". Love your channel. Your videos are great and you two make a fabulous team!

When we were flipping a previous house, I left my husband alone to patch some holes in the drywall in the finished basement. He was down there a really long time, so I started to wonder what was taking so long. Then I started to hear him yelling and saying things like "This stuff is awful! Who uses this stuff?" I was upstairs wondering what the heck he was doing. He comes upstairs all angry and frustrated. He tells me he was struggling with the spackle and that there is something wrong with it. So I go down there and immediately can see it doesn't look like normal spackle. I quickly realize he had grabbed the tub of stucco patch instead of spackle and had tried to patch the drywall with it! Ha! Well, that stuff hardens quick, is lumpy and gritty. It is extremely hard to sand or get off drywall. He spent all that time fussing with it and then had to take it all back off. I had to sit back and laugh, but he was so angry. The two different tubs look almost exactly the same except the words. Oops! So yeah... I laughed when you were saying every project needs a woman to supervise. Haha! But I've had my share of ridiculous mistakes too. That's for sure!
