Nice craftsmanship and talent
I will leave that job to the pros for sure. Thanks Rich for taking us along.
Thanks George, he really does fine work.
Beautiful 69 and a nice job on the headliner. They are a real pain for us amateurs.
Nick, He does great work, looks factory correct. I know some DIYer's that are pretty good at it but this is a step above.
Lots of skill to do that job. Nice work
Yes would rather leave something like this, which is so noticeable, to a pro.
Good timing - doing the headliner in my '67 next week.
Yes it helps to see how a pro does it! Good luck your car is coming along nicely.
Very nice work
That's why a pro was in order on this, looks factory correct, he did a great job.
Nice video. Good information.
Thanks, glad it was useful! Hope all is good.
cool..sharp mustang..I like the color. magnums always look good on these.
Thanks for checking it out James, yes this one will be nice when it is done for sure.
Good info Rich.
Thanks John, Yes hard to not use a pro with those results, makes such a difference.
Really nice video, very informative.
However, I want to ask you since I’m about to install a new headliner in my Boss, how did he “pinch this up here” at 6:38?
What keeps the front of the headliner stay in this groove? I was sure this was kept in place by overlapping the pinchweld, but apparently it’s not. And when I checked my car today, there were no “teeth” either (as above the sail panels).
Thank you in advance
Regards from Sweden 🇸🇪
what type of glue was used?
Wow he did a great job! had to do this for my '69 fastback, turned out decent but nowhere near as taught as that!
Yes it can be a DIY job and I have tried them before but this thing came out looking factory. Very pleased with the results.
Thank you
Welcome, good luck on your project.
If you don't mind. Which brand and part # headliner did you order ? Thanks
Scott Drake part # HL-FM-FB-69-BK
Those style headliners are not easy to do. I remember doing one back in the 80's we had a navy brand contact adhesive that was awesome but dont mess up cause it didnt come apart.
Yes he did a heck of a job and in this case experience counts for so much.
Cool, really illustrates why it's worth paying somebody to do it.
Yes in this case it sure is hard to argue with experience, gives it a factory appearance.
I wonder how hard would it be to fabricate the bows.
Well they are made out of spring steel so that would be tough.
job best left to a pro id say
In this case yes, his works looks factory and the headliner is near perfect in there. Thanks for stopping by Drew.
