Inspirational transplant surgeons named NHS Heroes | ITV News

Two surgeons from our region have been described as 'truly inspirational' NHS heroes. Steven Tsui and Stephen Large, from Papworth hospital, pioneered a new form of heart transplant. Their work has saved lives and increased the number of transplants carried out in the UK. They have been honoured for their work at the first ever Daily Mirror NHS Heroes Awards.
