man they play well together and the LP and strat sounds really work well together... sounds fab
I am very happy with my Marshall Origin 50 Head and 4x12 straight cabinet. Bought casters for the cab too! This thing takes pedals really well too! Anything you plug into it you’re going to hear really well! 💯💯💯
Best band ever

I got the Origin 50C; I can get the JTM 45/100 and Super Lead 100 tones I've been looking for, without all the higher gain, modern features I don't need (I have an Engl for modern high gain).
The 50C was so good IMO, that I also have the 50H full stack (with 2 x 4x12 Origin cabs).
I play straight in to the amp, the only pedal I use is a GEQ set as a clean treble boost for leads. Works great with single coils and humbuckers, cleans up nicely with guitar volume.
I'm surprised it sounds as good as it does given the price. Marshall got the Origin right IMO.
@Bad Boys Boogie the two 4x12 are cabs not amps; each Origin cab is 16 ohms; there are instructions on the back of the 50H head on which speaker outputs to use if you have 2 x 16 ohm cabs. Also be sure you're using speaker cables not instrument cables.

@@zoomzoom3950 Who are you responding to? There is no one on this thread named Bad Boys Boogie, and no one ever said the Origin 412 cabs were amps! Is your head cracked open or something? Are you nuts?
Reminds me of Peter Green and Danny Kirwan back in the day.
Sold.
The guy in the black leather looks like a young Alvin Lee.
Friends, Is the Original 50 Head Good? Does it tend to give you a lot of Recurring problems?
Put the old jcm800 lead Sirius next to it and here the difference
Good thing it’s not trying to be a JCM800. Want that tone? Get that amp
What do you normally use ?
If Marshall is going to put it's name.on it?
WTF mang , I beg to differ , The Code series , the MG series for instance.
Luisitocomunica
Dinosaur Muzak.
Now do that without pedals.
They will crunch up, but they have to be run full blast, and they sound pretty pitiful with the power starved (low/med). So it's way too loud for most situations. Even the 20 watter (which I own).
@@JBASH2011 Nah, get em cranked! :-D \,,/
You really don’t know what kind of amp this is do you?
@@JBASH2011 cranked mid power with the 50 sounds killer. I dime everything and turn the bass down and it gets that classic hard rock sound. Is it exactly a plexi? No. However, it does get you in the ballpark and if you’re on a budget it will certainly scratch that itch.
Just got mine and SENT IT BACK! This video is ALL OD pedals- this thing does NOt have that much Gain… and the Effects loop only works when FOOTSWITCH is plugged in? REALLY??? Also the boost is like 7 times louder than the og volume. 👎🏻
Hahaha tht's funny, this is supposed to emulate the old Marshalls and they DIDN'T HAVE ALOT OF GAIN. That's what started the whole pedal and hot pickups revolution! (Dimarzio Super Dist pups in fact) and the boost is just that.. a BOOST! Geez yer used to modern amps, this is not one of those! and all can be adjusted internally without much cost or troubles. This is a tube amp, ya swap out tubes to change tone and character of OD, and distortion.
First, you buy a piano
According to the Marshall forums, if this is your main gigging amp and you crank it, like a marshall should be, then the tubes melt the insides. Rendering the amp useless
That's absolutely not true I'm afraid. The one instance of that been reported on the MF I called out on, and I researched into it and couldn't work out how on earth he'd done it. Whatever had happened, it wasn't as his tech said. Was a confusing set of circumstances.
But, other than that, there have not been any other issues of that happening anywhere else.
Also, the apparent reason given by the tech was because it was the 50w combo, and should not effect the 20 watt's or the heads
Lol thats bullshit lmfao, these tubes don’t get hot enough to do that. Something else went wrong and anyone with a brain would be able to figure that out
@@jayjayripoff so, if you're poor - and can only afford the combo, you're screwed? THat's not nice toward middle class, not everyone here is a rock star or Roman Abramovich, ya know?
@@scottnoricsson2023 that's not anything I've said at all.
The fella on the MF that had this issue stated that it would be ok on the heads as the tubes are facing up, where the combos are facing down, with their heat rising....
I also think that is a non issue, the SV20 combo is the same, as are many many other combos from many other brands. Vox for example.
I cant foresee this been an issue is what I'm saying.
I have not at all inferred that people should just buy the heads and cabs, nor have I mentioned anything to do with a class system.
