U said unconscious and not breathing , thn we have to give breaths, by opening airway. Didnt mention about pulse, if pulse is not present thn we hav to start compressions. Am i correct sir.
Chest compressions is the 1st priority as to save the brain from irreversible hypoxic injury. She collapsed in a shopping complex and hence checking and confirming the carotid pulse by a layperson most probably will be inaccurate. And as the patient is unconscious that means in a unresponsive state chance is that it's a cardiac arrest therefore chest compressions first by which circulation to the brain ( and O2 in blood HB ) will maintained; later rescue breaths .As CPR stands for Circulation 1st. R for Respiration next. In the mean while ask for help( call ambulance). Thank you for the comment Deekshitha :-)
didn't mention the pulse , if pulse is not present then we have start compression,.so correct answer is check carrotid pulse after that start compresin,,, correcta sir

Airway patency is also important . But as the oxygen is circulated to every cell of the body through hemoglobin in blood circulation should be established first and then immediately the patency of airway should be looked after.
Open the airway is the correct ans... Bz pt has respiratory arrest... Not cardiac arrest.. if he has cardiac arrest, we ll start CPR...here pulse is present...respiration only not present.
