We love Cherokee Grill! I’ve seen some videos where they talked about it being super loud and rowdy in there but I’ve never seen it. Looked pretty classy and chill when you were there
We’ve seen those reviews too, we either got there at a good time or just have gotten used to places being crowded and loud because we didn’t notice it at all. The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing and Cherokee is definitely our favorite spot in Gatlinburg right now
Enjoyed the video, Thanks....Yummy looking salad. Side of bacon.... okay......bread looked good..... steak good.... WoW...... Awesome service on the broccoli...... Teriyaki steak been a long time since I've seen em in my area... I'd probably love pepper jack mac n cheese.
I felt the same way about the bread. And Grace....yaaaasss to Texas Roadhouse rolls FTW! We loved those potatoes when we were there. Mmmmm. Also, OMG the broccoli situationnnnn....As a broccoli girl, I'd be SO happy & grateful in that situation. Great review! 🧡🧡
It's always best to eat your salad last because it's a roughage . It will helps break down all your food that's in your stomach. By eating the salad first it will fill you up first, and all the food consume afterwards will take longer to digest.
That's very interesting, Steve, and we have never thought of it that way. I wonder why all restaurants, at least in the US, insist on bringing the salads first? I get it at all you can eat places, because they're hoping you'll fill up on salads and breads, and leave the expensive stuff behind, but at restaurants where you're paying for one meal, it seems backwards. I suppose the other thought would be that it's much easier to take home a leftover steak and baked potato than it would be to take home Caesar salad, and most people would complain if their main dish took too long to cook, and they didn't have the salad come out as a time-killer appetizer.
@@braceyourselfchannel I learned this from an English customer. He explained in his country and most of your Europe salad is usually consumed last. I know and understand that you are trying to give your opinions on food, the restaurant and services. My point is that eating the salad last is healthier for your digestive system. Just kindly ask your server to save the salad for last. See how your body reacts. I wish you both the best.
This is our favorite steakhouse in all of Gatlinburg. The Prosperity steak is really good, and we also love the ribeye. They also have the best prime rib in town, in our opinion. Glad y'all enjoyed your meal.
@@NCMemoryMakers it’s definitely our new favorite in the area! We can’t wait to go back and try all the other options! Thanks so much for watching, we really love watching you guys as well! Keep up the great work!
@@promises6414 that’s a blast from the past for sure! I can vaguely remember what it tasted like, but googling it it seems like it must’ve been “fairly” close to Outback’s bread?
I always get the Neva's potatoes at one of their restaurants. Not only are they delicious, but it was my grandmother and mothers first name. Love me some rosemary bread, warm and with butter.
I don’t blame you at all for wanting to honor your mom and grandma by getting their namesake potatoes, it’s a good thing Cherokee didn’t screw them up and make them terrible, you might have to fight for their honor 🤣

A quick question?! Do you all, all you tubers doing reviews, ask permission to video the people in back ground? Do you offer a money amount if the video makes money!?
We try our hardest not to film people in the background for any length of time, and never film people as the subject of the shot, only people in the periphery. In all the videos we’ve done we’ve never had anyone get upset or ask to not be in the background. I’m assuming that because we are still a small channel, and because the younger generation is constantly instagramming people don’t even think anything about it. If someone asked to not be in a shot we 100% would either shoot again or blur their faces. And as far as money goes, we generally make no more than the cost of the food we eat, if we’re lucky, on these videos, so if someone in the background wanted $0.50 I guess we could Venmo them 😁
As you are already aware, it is not necessary for you to pay or ask for anyone's permission. Thank goodness this is the United States of America and we have a first amendment that protects this right for you both to film freely in public. As long as the people in the background are not part of a prominent role in your filming, they do not have to provide you with any consent to film them in the background. Some people are notorious for being upset at RUclipsrs who film in public, yet they still continue to watch these channels and there is a very small subgroup that basks in the negativity. I would speculate it is becuase they are envious of those who film or perhaps it is because they live a very sad life and try to displace their grievances onto others in the desperate hope that they will stop filming. It could be that they just enjoy having something in common with other sad people...you know the birds of a feather saying. The good thing is that the majority of us enjoy watching these videos. The very small percentage of sad people who find complaint or concern with them should probably not go into public and should stay in their bubble if they have concerns with people enjoying themselves, practicing their 1st Amendment freedoms, and providing valuable insight to families like mine who only get to travel to the Smokies once or maybe twice a year and now get to make informed decisions thanks to your reviews as well as others who work hard to film these videos for us. I would safely imagine that filming these videos is not as easy as it appears. Thanks for your videos and ignore the noise.

Were the steaks thick ?
The sirloin was about an inch thick, and the filet was closer to 2
We are here now sweating it out Dollywood with 2 half used tasting passes! Lol Its so much fun though. Trying to get up the nerve to ride big bear.
