Changing the Accent Color Used in Apple Apps

- macmost.com/e-3154 Apps like Pages, Numbers and Notes use specific colors for selected items and highlights. This is called the Accent Color. You can override the accent colors in these apps with a system-wide accent color setting.

I know about mac's accent color but I never take note how the accent color is shown in the apps. Thanks Gary for bringing this up. I bet almost no one talking about.

Great video as always Garry what I REALLY miss is the ability to custom style favourites folders in finder! It’s so visually helpful to be able to recognize a folder by colour or graphic

I wish this was an iOS feature too. For whatever reason my brain resists the yellow of Notes and Pages and I don't get as much done in those apps as I should, even though I have a lot I should be doing in them and a lot of ideas for them. Other similar apps like GoodNotes I have used a lot, but I am trying to reign everything back in to first party apps. Just a weird thing with me personally I guess.
Installed Acrobat now all pdf open in Acrobat, how do I change it back to Preview? I tried the get info route which shows opens in Preview but Acrobat has hijacked it as default! I know this is off topic, sorry.

Hi mate, is there any way of controlling Apple Music from my iPhone 14 Pro Max. The remote app that used to work with iTunes doesn’t seem to be a valid method anymore.
I haven't used iTunes Remote for years, but I just tried it with iOS 17 + Sonoma and it worked fine. Had to enable Media Sharing, of course, and allow the device in the Music app on my Mac with a code. Definitely works though.
@@macmost can you post a quick clip. I don’t see where to enter the code. Pretty positive I have all types of sharing enabled. But will double check in a few minutes.

@@macmost thank you. Seems like the home sharing setting had moved to sharing in settings and that was the issue. Also, I wanted to see if we can connect on LinkedIn or email etc. launching something way smarter than Apple ecosystem at “Glomensio”.
