Even though the package says this Derma E SPF powder is translucent and suitable for all skin types, I find that to be inaccurate and misleading.
This so-called "translucent" SPF powder is ONLY for light-medium-beige-tan skin tones.
If you are fair skinned, this will be too dark or possibly orange, and if you have brown/deep skin tone, I imagine that this will appear ashy.
I really liked the concept of this brush on SPF powder. However, they missed the mark when it came a 'translucent' universal product. This powder deposits medium color. Derma E should of been aware of that during their development process, and should of fixed their formula to be truly translucent to align with their marketing claims OR promote this as a medium shade SPF powder but also have a range of different shades.
Even though this product is suitable for my skin tone, I am disappointed that I cannot recommend this Derma E SPF powder to everyone.

However, I did research and SUPERGOOP has the same brush on SPF concept. They offer translucent, light, medium and deep shades! And provide more SPF (than Derma E) with a SPF of 45!
I have not tried SUPERGOOP but will do so in the future. Providing this option/link for those who are interested in SPF brush on powder and are looking for a shade more suitable for their skin tone.

This was such a good review, I was interested in this powder spf to reapply sunscreen but now I'm reconsidering it since it has some color and I'm afraid it's going to make me look ashy since I have a deep tan skin tone... And thank you for reaching out to the brand! ♥️

I would look into SUPERGOOP. They have the same concept with a real translucent powder along with an entire shade range of powder SPF!
