I do watch a few make up channels, but this is the only channel where I will buy product based on Nikki’s recommendations. I always appreciate how she details the positive and less than positive about products and what they can achieve..
I almost dropped dead when you said 38 years old. I thought I was like 17 years older than you I thought maybe 30. Nikki you’re gorgeous and it shows that you know how to take care of yourself and your skin. This is why I love your channel. Well one of many reasons. You teach, you are fun to watch and you care about all people and skin types. Not just whats hot for TikTok and i love that.
I love the Natasha Denona concealer, but to apply I put a small amount on the back of my hand and then apply it with a damp sponge. It goes on much lighter that way, I still get great coverage but without a heavier "makeup" look.
I love This and I love That! Most days I keep things simple and light but sometimes I need the full catastrophe. Thank you for fleshing everything out.
Thank you so much for all your wonderful videos. I started watching you tube makeup tutorials when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Makeup is so much more important when you are bald from chemo. I bought your amazing BK Beauty Nikki brushes and I have got to say they are a game changer. I often watch your drugstore makeup reviews and using your brushes makes even a ten dollar blush look incredible. Thank you so much for all your teaching and for helping me to feel beautiful at a time when I really needed that.
You are by far my favorite to watch on youtube ❤ I love your brushes too 🎉 thank you for sharing your knowledge with us I have learned so much from you ❤
I honestly thought you were in your 20's... This is the power of great genes and amazing skincare and sunscreen.. I love your channel, and I'm so thankful to Mixed Makeup for introducing me to your content.
That Givenchy powder looks so beautiful. I think I need some! I tried some of the OS spray in Sephora recently and my makeup didn’t move for hours. It’s great. I’ve actually got the L’Oréal version. It’s pretty good, makeup doesn’t budge, and it’s even extra work to remove it. The lipgloss looks pretty, but like most products it’s not available here in Australia. Hopefully now that we have Sephora it will slowly change and more will become available. There’s definitely more than there was 5 years ago. Keep it coming!
man this is exactly what i been looking for! i need this type of advice ill go into make up shops asking questions for what works on my skin type and half the time they dont wanna be helpful so thanks for posting this video please do more of these!
Westman atelier is expensive but everytime I look and use it, it feels worth it. The packaging alone is the best and looks luxurious. I also love the cream texture. it’s so easy to apply.
I love how you explain for whom the products are best…..e.g. the concealer for example, not just an explanation but it’s best for high coverage, light coverage etc and the skin condition…thsnkyou for the thorough explanation…
I am 49 with mature undereye, and I've got the Prisme Libre powder. It's very nice, but the Pat McGrath one still looks better on me. So far, nothing I've tried matches it.
Nikki - this is by far one of the most helpful videos you’ve made to date!! Your eye makeup for this one is also super pretty - would you consider doing a tutorial on this look? It’s so flattering!!!
Nikki, u r the goddess artist of all makeup videos, I would have to say I wished u were my sister. I would have such beautiful, flawless skin like u , and I would have a skin routine like you . Thank you for teaching all of us subscribers' new techniques with makeup. We love you with the most respect.❤❤
Thank you for the explanation of these products and how they work for the look you are going for but also how they work on your skin, which is important! No one ever explained how the OS setting spray should not be used every day! I live in a hot humid climate so i thought this was great, but on the days I don’t have to be out and about I should use something different Thank you so much for going through each of these products and how each one worked!
Morning classes with Professor La Rose! 😉 Perfect to know exactly what products i should recommend to my SiL who doesn’t wear a ton of makeup and just wants more of the "natural" and softer side (vs me with the full glam)!
Hi Nikki. I don’t leave comments often, but I have to let you know how helpful you are. After a short period of time where I was just buying WAY too much makeup (my job is WFH after all😅), I did a big purge (my friends were quite happy about that) and now I only want to buy products that I will use up and/or use often. Your channel has given me so much knowledge and technique, I feel that I can use and enjoy my older products properly. And any additional purchases I make, will be with total intention. Thanks so much! ❤
I never comment but seriously Nikki these are the videos that I need!!!! You cut through all the BS and influencing and help with informed decision making. ❤❤❤❤
PS if you need ideas… Dior Forever matte vs Armani luminous silk Too Faced ethereal vs Pat McGrath concealers Westman atelier contour vs make up by Mario or Patrick ta
This was so helpful. Thank you. I am 72 and do live videos teaching card making… so I’ve been trying to learn how to do my make up well. I’ve wasted a lot of money trying good products that aren’t good for me. I watched your video on tinted serums and tried the IT CC cream and I love it. I’m going to try the powder you suggested for mature skin, and maybe the concealer. I love both kinds of blushes you showed but have the best luck with cream blush. I need my lip color to LAST so I would love a video on lip color that lasts that also doesn’t dry your lips. Thank you for all you share with us. ❤
So many good formulas here! Both sides are so beautiful for different reasons….however I’m definitely more drawn to the daily/more natural side as I’m 41 & have dry skin. Btw, you’re rockin’ that denim top & those gold hoops, Nikki🤩🤩❤❤
I love westman blushes ♥️♥️♥️ great formula, great staying power! Not sure about the "make up feeling" but it feels light weight to me. Love your videos nikki ♥️☺️
Hi Nikki! Thank you for teaching us all so much about makeup products and how to use them and your brushes. I own two sets of your brushes plus a few extras I bought singly.
I finally ordered your brushes and I am so excited😍. Love seeing videos with product pairings!Especially primer/foundation/powder combos that are compatible.
I love your brand brushes as well as your recommendations on makeup. I have been taking about few years to learn ( starting using makeup at 38/39, barely used it before) especially make up no makeup. You and Andreea Ali, video tutorials, taught me how to use makeup. Thank you 🙏 so much ❤
I LOVED ❤ LOVED ❤ LOVED ❤ this "This or That" video!! This video was SOOOO helpful to me, and answered so many of my questions. Nikki, I swear you've never looked more beautiful before than in this video. I want the ND concealer, each color of blush and lipsticks, plus the Givenchy powder if they could look even one billionth as good on me as they do on you!! I think you're fantastic!!!!!! 😊
Idk if this tag is going on everywhere, but the idea behind the video is so impressive. Don't have enough good words to say to you. Keep up the good work .
thank you for your insights, Nikki! so valuable to speak of the dimensions and functions it can have. Could you share more about eyeshadows? textures, colors, finishes, I feel like so much is happening in one palette and I could be using them better!
I’m 56 with oily skin and live in a hot humid climate and the One size powder is my ride or die powder. I love it so much more than the givenchy. Thank you for your awesome content. Love your videos.
Nikki, you are the best. I have watched many others but you seem to be genuine with your recommendations, and I believe everything you say. On top of that, you are pretty. God bless.
Super enlightening! I clearly understand the products on the right side of your face are meant for me. I seem to know which blush and lip products I prefer, but get so conflicted over concealers and powders. Thank you also for featuring a drugstore alternative for the setting spray.
Hi Nikki, thank you for this video. I’m 56 & you have easily influenced me to buy products that have been awesome for me. I was thinking of purchasing the Saie concealer & you have influenced me again. lol I also ordered the Ciele, tint, blush & sculpt, can’t wait to try them. Love your brushes too, game changer. 🥰🤗
I really didn't know this! I'm 45 and have darkness and fine lines ( lucky lucky me ) 😂.. count on Nikki to clear things up about what I should be looking for. Simple instruction from one of my new fave RUclipsrs 👌
I live in a very hot humid place and the One Size setting spray was a game changer for longevity. I have very dry skin, just turned 50 and I love it because it just makes my makeup stay in place in the South Tx heat/humidity.
Hi Nikki been obsessed with your videos and your talent I’ve watched you since you started so happy you are growing even more and really your videos help me relax through my hard times thank you 🩷 keep shining ✨
Please do more of these videos. I love the comparing similar products, never know which will work on my face without purchasing them, which some have a higher $ tag. Thank you
Loved this format 🎉 Both looks are so down my alley, and look amazing and very fresh on you. I would like to add that the setting sprays of CT and Milani are very different ingredient wise, and my sensitive skin cannot tolerate the Milani one because it contains both niacinamide and alcohol. Charlotte’s is painfully my favourite because the price is not it, but glad other people can have a decent drugstore option ❤
Ahhhh…. Thank you, Nikki!! Such a helpful video ❤❤ As always I’m here for the tipis!! I am absolutely in love with the Givenchy loose setting powder!! However now I hear they are reformulating this powder…. Any news on what’s changing, please share and lmk. Also I love girlactik nude balm. Annnnddddd your brushes! Those are necessary in everyone’s lives 🎉🎉!! Thanks again, Nikki!! Yes everyone please like this video! I two only trust, Nikki with any recommendations for makeup. Never have a made a purchase and it wasn’t exactly what she said it would do, preforms ect!! 💞💞
Just ordered your brushes! I cannot wait to use them to help with my makeup application on my 40+ year old face ;) Thanks Nikki for all of your help! Hope you’re having a fab weekend xo
Love your videos Nicky! Being over 40, having combo skin AND fine lines/wrinkles….i feel it’s important to separate the mature skin category into mature/oily and mature/dry. Generally speaking, the way that products are categorized often makes it difficult to choose.
You are beautiful and so talented! I have mature, dry skin. I use the ND concealer, Givenchy powder, WA cream blush. For setting spray, you use CT setting spray daily, BUT if I am wearing a white shirt or dress, I bring out the OS! Of course all with BK beauty brushes. I am going to try the Armani liquid blush. It looked amazing on you and changed the entire look. ❤
Hey Nikki!! This is a fantastic video-thank you for sharing your tips! I’d love to see more like this, maybe with mascaras (tubing vs regular formulas) and with bronzers (powders vs liquids/creams)? Have a great weekend, and I hope to catch you live tomorrow!! ♥️💄😎
This was really helpful. I used my O/S powder this morning for the first time in a while, as I’ve been using the Prism Libre lately. OMG - I was so shocked by how thick the powder looked comparatively. Now I know when to use each one. Thanks Nikki
I do watch a few make up channels, but this is the only channel where I will buy product based on Nikki’s recommendations. I always appreciate how she details the positive and less than positive about products and what they can achieve..
Me too, I am with you!
Totally agree! Everything I've purchased that was a Nikki has recommended have been winners!!
Same here! I can always trust Nikki’s advice on makeup!!!😊
She likes everything I made that mistake too and bought some crap products
I second this!

Not that you don't always looks gorgeous Nikki, but with your eyes done and just concealer you look so beautiful too!
Thank you so so much!!
I agree. You look so beautiful with this clean look. I wish I could create a make up look like this.
Yes, I agree. She is beautiful.
I looooved “this or that”!!! So helpful to understand when to use each! Please do more!
I love the Natasha Denona concealer, but to apply I put a small amount on the back of my hand and then apply it with a damp sponge. It goes on much lighter that way, I still get great coverage but without a heavier "makeup" look.
Attention! Please give Nikki a thumbs up! I see all these views. Give her a thumbs up!! 🎉🎉🎉

“the full catastrophe” 😂 This is the perfect phrase to describe my makeup attempts! Hope you have an amazing weekend!
"Full catastrophe." That sounds like me, too. Thanks for a good laugh😅

Does anyone knows where the vest is from?

By far one of the best make up videos on RUclips. Clear, informative, and easy to digest answers to questions I didn’t know to ask. Brava!
A favorite part of my Saturday mornings!! And I love this whole look you got going on here 😍🤌🏼💋
Yay. Saturday morning watching Nikki and washing my Nikki La Rose brushes. Vibes! 🫶🏻
I LOVE THAT!!! Thank you so much for spending the morning with me!!🥹❤️
Thanks! I bought some more products based on this utube video. You are so thorough on your product descriptions and are helping me go broke. Love you❤
One of the most informative makeup videos! Thank you, once again, Nikki
Loved this Nikki! Agree on all points 💯
