It’s not for everyone, but it’s a skill you can improve on. I believe that with proper training, the cast would be okay. Unfortunately, they’re nowhere near properly trained.
When I volunteered at a hospital I was mostly restocking hand sanitizer and coffee; cleaning the rolling computers; and being an interdepartmental courier. The most time I spent with a patient was once I spent about 1- 2 hours talking to a patient with dementia to keep her company. Otherwise I never even really saw any patients.
Avery Read To be fair, she could just get better. Problem is, she started way to high in her “acting career“. She’s already on a show where millions of people watched with little to no acting experience. If she really wants to act, she’s gotta improve.
I was in the hospital for weeks once and the volunteers gave me coloring books, dvds, and painted my nails. That was all they ever did. They barely ever came into patients rooms except to give little things to do while you are there like crafts. The volunteers weren't even allowed to bring anyone down to the cafeteria.
At 8:11 that is actually called a head gear that orthodontist use for when patients have an underbite but it still doesn’t really make sense on why it would be in a medical show.

Also the dialogue for this show is just.... wow. (Please don’t attack me, just my personal opinion and also this is the first time I’ve ever heard or seen the show.)
@@brooklynnbanks4910 acting tips I've used: 1) find your characters personality (it should make a huge difference in how they talk, stand, walk, etc) 2) find the mood the character would likely be in, and stick yourself in that pov to feel into it more 3) this one was big help for me, understand your character. My favourite way is improving as the character. So be normal, but if you play a really gloomy character for eg, put their memories in your mind and live as that character, respond to people as they would, if you really want to get into it, eat as they would (it's actually helpful especially in there's a scene where things go around your face
Honestly the kid's acting is so much better than the teens. This is what happens when tiktokers go into acting. The way the two teens talk to the kid is so robotic I can't even....😖
Right? I mean I've seen some BAD acting before - Baby Geniuses, Manos, Troll 2, numerous videos made for high school English classes, numerous tv shows and movies featuring very small children who are just terrible because they're only 3 years old - but I think this genuinely might be the absolute worst assortment of acting I've ever seen.
hope unknown Oh please stop being so ignorant. This is a shitty marketing tactic because they know these people are popular on tik tok so they are using it to their advantage. They are shitty actors but the producers obviously don’t care because like I said, these “actors” are popular. 🤦♀️
I actually had next to no training. I don't remember any training. But it was 1977 or 78. And I was in admitting. So basically all I had to do was take the chart and push the patient up to the correct floor. Of course it did help if they gave me the correct chart for the correct patient. And the second year I stayed downstairs and shepherded the patients through their testing: blood, urine, x-ray. I made a chart. To keep track of everyone. Of course that is what I would do. Then I got a real job. In a library.
The closest I EVER got to patient care as a teen volunteer was when I got into the OR during my 3rd year and had a chance to watch a ton of surgeries while assisting patients before and after (comfort, communication, and transport). If you ever get a chance to volunteer, try to get into the OR. It's a magical and humbling experience, especially if you're planning to go into the field.

They already are famous but they want to be actors like in real life you have to take classes to do that and audition but I know for a fact Brat TV just called them and they said yes
tipoima yeah they are all TikTokers, like I said in my comment
I am pretty sure Dixie damelio is on this
the fact that they’re wearing hairnets that’s don’t cover their hair...
I said the same thing. I guess, the dont want to mess their hair.
Especially the girl like honey all of your hair was hanging out I get that you wanna look cute but no one wants to eat your hair
That was the joke, it just flopped
I was going to post the same thing. Why even bother wearing it if your hair is still hanging out near the food.
YES-! like WHAT
I cringed the whole time. ACTING IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. stick to tiktok and instagram
👏👏👏
Omg. I thought I was seeing things when Charlie D'Amelio was on screen, but it's really her?
@@allieb3477 lol it's Dixie, charli's sister
It’s not for everyone, but it’s a skill you can improve on. I believe that with proper training, the cast would be okay. Unfortunately, they’re nowhere near properly trained.
Bana L it’s her sister Dixie
I love how I didn't know about this until a year later. THIS IS SO PAINFUL OMG
I don’t think I’ve ever seen worse acting in a show. Why is everything so monotone??? Have some emotion p l e a s e you aren’t robots.
Are you sure they aren’t?
They used to lip sync what did you expect?
The child/kid patients did a better job 😅😅
I was convince that the curly haired dudebro was a psychopath.
Im pure dull when remembering a script and acting -- i got like C' s
I love when Dr. Mike was explaining the reasons to not blow into a glove and he goes from A) to 2) when listing
“doc mc stuffins was more accurate” I CACKLED i forgot about that show
I will never forget that show and I honest to God watch it daily.
It’s honestly an amazing show that makes children less scared about going to the doctor
The girls hair hanging out of her hairnet- I cant.
Really, what do they think the hairnets are for?
THANK YOU! I was thinking the exact same thing!
Maggie Complicatedlastname it’s obviously just for hair decoration 👀
fun fact:Attaway General has 1/10 on IMDb
Golden Bro I’m not surprised lol. It’s horrible
Deserves -♾
1/10 is pretty high
Woah!...that rate is too high for them give em a quarter 🌟
It really doesn’t even deserve an IMDb page lol
I love Dr. Mike watching medical shows but the acting is so bad on this show.
It rlly is... maybe stick to tiktok dixie 😂
Avery Read To be fair, she could just get better. Problem is, she started way to high in her “acting career“. She’s already on a show where millions of people watched with little to no acting experience. If she really wants to act, she’s gotta improve.
Willy wonka caring has more emotion
HE LIKED!😂
I was in the hospital for weeks once and the volunteers gave me coloring books, dvds, and painted my nails. That was all they ever did. They barely ever came into patients rooms except to give little things to do while you are there like crafts. The volunteers weren't even allowed to bring anyone down to the cafeteria.
the girl doing the chest compressions :: **pat pat** okie done 🥺✨👉👈😊💗
Lmao yeah
😂😂😂😂
@Cheese
Smort :0
It’s a medical drama where all the so called “actors” are tik tokers
I’ve seen kids on Nickelodeon act *WAY WAY WAY* better
Equinox Gaming ? They’re complimenting
The worst acting ever
To be honest.
꧁Grace꧂ yes but it was a backhanded compliment that’s why Equinox Gaming said what they said
Yes
Oh god... They can't act at all. I've seen children in school plays acting less wooden! It physically hurts.
“for a chocolate bar??” lmaoo my head hurts so bad when the lady disclosed patient’s health info, to the scriptwriter PLEASE 😫😂
Ah yes, the higher quality med show: Doc Mcstuffins
Matt Egan bruh ur at 968 likes and no comment? ima break this
@@AlexAsh25 Had to do it to 'em
Supreme Yote u know i had to😂
Doc mcstuffins IS BETTER
Especially Doc Mcstuffins Toy Hospital
Is no one gonna talk about how they don’t actually put all there hair in the hairnet?!
Ik bothered me too
*their
But how are they supposed to show off their beach waves? That’s half their personality!
The child is a better actor than all of them combined.
I noticed that too!
yeahh but they arent trying to be medically corect
some
A million times over. Yes. What is this dumpster fire abomination??!!
Btw there’s another channel doing this called def noodles. I also do the same thing! (But with no medical review)
At 8:11 that is actually called a head gear that orthodontist use for when patients have an underbite but it still doesn’t really make sense on why it would be in a medical show.
probably a "subtle" clue that this one was the boy being bullied, since at first glance one would think the skinnier one was the victim
I love how he says Doc Mcstuffins and Dougie Howser are better... and I must agree. I am a microbiologist and seeing the loose hair, no gloves etc etc... just NO!!!!

I’m screaming at the fact that Dr. Mike is actually reviewing this “show”. I didn’t know I needed this until now. Thank you for always coming through, Dr. Mike
The acting range of everybody on this show is literally so cringeworthy, I can’t with any of the lines or lack of emotions and tones and range of what they’re saying. I’m around those kids ages and I actually want to act when I’m older and I know that at least I can do a better job of presenting their lines than they did. Also the dialogue for this show is just.... wow. (Please don’t attack me, just my personal opinion and also this is the first time I’ve ever heard or seen the show.)
Yes! I totally agree
Same I’m in high school and still learning how to strengthen my acting but this was HORRIBLE😭😭
Don’t worry, no one’s disagreeing
@@brooklynnbanks4910 acting tips I've used:
1) find your characters personality (it should make a huge difference in how they talk, stand, walk, etc)
2) find the mood the character would likely be in, and stick yourself in that pov to feel into it more
3) this one was big help for me, understand your character. My favourite way is improving as the character. So be normal, but if you play a really gloomy character for eg, put their memories in your mind and live as that character, respond to people as they would, if you really want to get into it, eat as they would (it's actually helpful especially in there's a scene where things go around your face
Agreed. I wish you could take their place. Literally the entire world revolves around tiktok star so there’s no opportunity for anyone else.
Honestly the kid's acting is so much better than the teens. This is what happens when tiktokers go into acting. The way the two teens talk to the kid is so robotic I can't even....😖
I didn’t realise acting could be that bad 😂😂 like someone who is getting paid......
They’re famous tiktokers sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
*yEa*
@@FrenkTheJoy I was exactly thinking that that was the level of acting we presented in our high school English videos 🤣🤣
patient privacy: exists

*HIPAA has left the chat.*
Whoever wrote the show has clearly never been to a hospital. It is so bad, it is cringey!
"Whoever wrote the show has clearly never been to a hospital."Well...good for them,I'd say...;-P
@@Nicamon good point
hope unknown i don’t think anyone over the age of 9 would watch this show and enjoy it
hope unknown Oh please stop being so ignorant. This is a shitty marketing tactic because they know these people are popular on tik tok so they are using it to their advantage. They are shitty actors but the producers obviously don’t care because like I said, these “actors” are popular. 🤦♀️
@@Nicamon I thought when it meant go to a hospital. It meant to study how a hospital works.
I like the continuous health teaching and proper corrections Dr. Mike makes throughout the video.
As a former hospital volunteer, trust me, I was also cringing. We had hours of training and shadowing.
This is the worst acting I have seen in my whole life.
Hmmmm.
*Looks like someone hasn't seen Camp Rock in a while.*
Birdemic School of Acting.
Actors from The Last Airbender would like to know your location
.............. I take that you haven't seen Avatar The Last Airbender movie. XD

right? I was so hoping to find that in a comment.
More like "Nottaway" Ami'right?🤣 ...
...I'll see myself out...
You know it’s bad when the most medically accurate statement was “dEpEnDs wHeRe i pUt iT”
Dr. Mikes reaction was priceless
Facts
Or the beds lol
in one of the episodes one of the patients opened their eyes during CPR
Oh god, TAKE A MEDICINE AND SLEEPPPPP
It can happen if the patient already has a pulse, the pain of cpr can make them open their eyes or move a little. Was that the case in the episode?
@@smashmusique I think they meant in the middle of chest compressions. As in, not due to the patient regaining a heartbeat, but just bad acting, lol.
There was this one episode where a girl faints but the actress still opens her eyes and peeks 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Episode ?
