You're here after the wardog skin dropped in the 3rd anniversary update, aren't you?
I must admit that F-14D looks very good in these colors. The quality of reproduction of markings is very high. Maybe with the help of mods it will be possible to restore special skins and Erusea their tail codes and tactical numbers.
But I still think that in retrospect, the F-14 is not very suitable for a flagship fighter.
I wonder what the OADF pilots train in 2019?
OMDF(Navy, Wardog was OMDF not OADF) flies Super Hornets, F-14Ds, and F-35Cs in 2019 - as seen by Gargoyle Squadron's F-14Ds and by the presence of ]F/A-18s aboard the carrier in mission 3. There is an Osean F-35C squadron that flies alongside you in missions 19 and 20. They also presumably use Su-33s either for aggressor training or have an entire squadron equipped with them, judging by Count's aircraft.
The OADF also flies the F/A-18F - Golem Squadron flies it and they appear to be an OADF formation. Also all the generic Osean fighters in mission 16 are F/A-18Fs. The OADF also flies the F-16C, F-15C, and F-22(seen in mission 19's cutscenes), among other aircraft - they potentially fly the MiG-29 in the same capacity as the OMDF's Su-33s, and appear to have Mirage 2000-5s in their inventory
@@CsStrez A lot of that might also be simple game limitations, with F models substituting for other Hornet and Super Hornet models, and C model F-35s substituting for A or B models.
@@CsStrez You were wrong to correct @Janusz as Wardog was an OADF squadron (true designation 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron, part of the 5th Fighter wing). I don't know why the F-14 is their cannon aircraft as it has OMDF markings on it, but the F-5s that they fly in the begining of the game clearly have OADF markings, they are reffered to as part of the air force constantly and during Mission 25 Bartlett specifically refers to Cpt. Snow (Sworsman) as a navy pilot, not to mention, they operate out of an airbase (eventually they desert and become The Ghosts Of Razgriz then they operate out of a carrier). To me they only fly the F-14 once they become the Razgriz but that's just my interpration.
Osean Defense Force Pilots probably still train with Hawks.
@@CsStrez Wardog was OADF, flying F-4Gs and F-5Es out of Sand Island (an air force, not naval or joint, base)

Speaking of which, funny you were able to Get ahold of the Jollyrogers Skin well A Year Before it actually Released in Aug 2020 ? I guess it's in the folders Of the game But PA wont Release publicly and For Consoles for some reason but doesn't care that Modders Exploit or Use them Already 🤪🤷♂️
