Good topic. Constructive criticism... The video is about drag maintenace and you point out that you normally would use a towel or trays to put keep the removed hardware from getting lost. You also point out that you don't have any drag grease. Sine the video is about drag maintenace you should have these items in the video.
Good job young man but since this video is a reel maintenance 101 for newbies it could have been a little more detailed, for example what type of cleaning agent is best, best material and method for wiping down the inside of the spool, what to do if any rust is visible on the metal drag washers and routine cleansing of the reel and spool after a fishing trip, especially in a salt water and or sandy environment. And of course it would be a good idea to have all the actual materials on hand rather than imaginary grease LoL
i have a fresh water reel with a rear drag ,the drag washers appear to be made of some kind of rubber or plastic and not felt, i think there was some kind of grey looking grease on them perhaps thermal grease, can i use a bit silicone grease the same type i use on my car break parts? it says safe to use on all rubber or plastic parts
Yeah, I agree with everyone else... Maybe you should get some sand and throw it in there and maybe tear your washers to make it authentic... Unreal. Look, he obviously takes good care of his reals, the spool and drag system were clean therefore no need to over grease. Showing a picture of some reel grease was enough. Good video.
I would recommend replacing the felt washer with carbonex washers, especially if your useing for saltwater. Its not fun when your catching alot of big fish and the felt washers fall apart causing your drag to tighten up all the way and then the fish breaks your line.

Thank you Tony 🤜🤛
My reel has loss drag tension. I have tightened all I can but nothing. My felt washers are dry and do not look torn up, will adding drag grease help?
Do you find any solution?

Good video.
James Hebner thank you James
Wht causes the drag knob to tighten up when a fish spools line off??
You have the wrong metal washer on the top..some have locating tabs you don't want that one on the top...or it might be the other way ....try and see

Great detailed video
You forgot the retainer spring?
youd think a drag system should not be lubricated or have grease on it lol
Nice
Sir the drag adjustment of my reel doesn't make a clicking sound when i tighten it. What is the problem?
