Thank you for taking the lumps and bumps for us in order to give us this review...or any other review. The community appreciates what you do for us Avran
Picked this board up for a fun park board, hoping I don't suffer the same fate but thank you for the always honest reviews and what you do for the community.
Was waiting for this review to decide between the yes the greats and I think you’ve made that decision easy for me.
If i weigh 150ish do you think the 153cm wille be ok or should i size down if im using it mostly for park? Also thanks for all your reviews! Huge help!
I'd size down or you know get another board that doesn't suck.
Have you test nitro team pro? I ride a t1. its the team much harder to press.Should i buy a shorter one because the running length much higher?
No. Yes. Your call.
Hello from Spain. I've just buyed Nitro Dropout. Do you like this snowboard? It has Cam-out camber too. Thanks.
Why don't you go watch the review and see.
Hey Avran- 6'3" 250lbs with size 13 boots. Looking for something to compliment my 159 Orca. Something in the 164-166W range with camber that can handle icy/chunder groomers, side hits, and the occasional tree runs or box jump. Looking at the Typo, PYL, Essential Service, or the Frontier. Would appreciate any advice or additional options to consider. Thanks in advance and all your efforts with the videos. You are the only authentic snowboard reviewer on RUclips
You don't want a Frontier you would be better off bumping up to a Flagship if you're looking at Jones. Essential Service will work but a Dynamo is probably a better choice, Typo is OK but the Standard would probably be better.
@@AngrySnowboarder Thank you!
How does it compare to ride zero? They seem pretty similar.
I already got zero 154w. Got 10.5 size boots but wanted to try a wider platform for stability on jibs and landings.
Optysim is a midwide, looks tempting too.
They're not, this board sucks ass.
I just started snowboarding last season here in california looking to buy a new board. I can ride Pretty good i can do jumps, boxes. i want to buy a board that i can have fun i was looking at this board and a few other boards but the size i need is a 146, any suggestions ?
Maybe check out some of our top 5 lists and cross reference if they have your size.
Is this easier to ride than the beast and is it Just due to the rocker edges?
Yes it's easier, but this board is so meh.
If I’m 5’5 between 5’6 what size should I get I’m thinking 144?
If you size a board based on your height you probably shouldn't be asking this question to me.
Have any opinions on the Ride Agenda board? I was looking to get it vs the warping and such since it’s twin and more flexy.
Well the Optisym does not sit in the same category as the Agenda and thus is a different ride.
I know it’s late to join in on the convo, but nitro just released a New Optisym x drink sexy board. Been saving up money to buy it and was trying to find honest reviews on how it will ride. For it being so early for the season to start for most of us it’s been hard finding any research. But seeing this video and what u listed will I be expecting the same results for the 2.0 board? Lastly, I found it odd that the only videos of Yung Doli himself riding this new board wasn’t even truly an Optisym model, it was a custom print of the board on the santoku…Another reason why I’m wary of buying it.
Been having the same thoughts, I was really interested in getting the new 22/23 version for my first board, big yung doli fan, I also noticed he uses the santoku with his own custom DS graphic so to me that really threw me off, also there’s not a lot of people that have done honest reviews with the new version.. leaning toward the public dispute now.
So over all do you think I should get this board??
Are you an adult that knows how to make decisions for themself?
Hey dude, may I ask which is your nitro go-to board?XD
Quiver Cannon 203.
I just got this board and i totally agree! I dont understand why in the world its asymetrical when its ment to be a jib board. it doesnt make sense. I also got thrown when buttering, Im not remembering which edge is hitting which way when im spinning, which Is one great reason for me to go true twin. But It felt like i couldnt control the toe side edge on the tip and tail. it was a nightmare to frontside 180 at speed, because its large on tip and tail, slow and asymetrical. its just so slow and sloppy and catches easy without opening up play for me. the super doa was even easier to ride, and that says something. also I missed more torsional flex on this for jibbing. I agree on the carvyness too, you want to carve it because its a camber, but it doesnt want to. I almost hit a pole on this. It just doesnt go where I want it to go. And the width on the edges.. I hoped it would help for carving or landing but..no. For me it tries to do several things but fails at all of them. who wants an asymetrical jibbing board which cant carve :S
Totally agree, this board is a sh***t
This or nitro t1?
Sure.
@@AngrySnowboarder ah come on…
No. You ask a vague question, you get a vague answer.
I paid retail on this board paired with nitro team bindings. It's heavy and too stiff for my liking. Nitro should never reproduce this board.
Shitwhipped
