But, by the time I've done all of those mods, I'm right into what these new well optioned Broncos cost. I could also mod on the cheap (used Danas, manual sb disconnect, etc) BUT I DON'T CARE! I love these Broncos and I want one! First off, I think they look awesome. Ford, imo, did a perfect job of blending the old with the new. Just a great evolution of the truck. It would be awesome if they could offer a special edition with the 5.0 from the F150. Put some low gearing in beefy Dana diffs with 37s. Gotta hang with Jeep's 392 - which I think is overkill for selling a lot. The 5.7 is proven, has plenty of power, and would cost less than the 5.7. I remind myself how simple my Jeep is. So little to go wrong with it, and easy to and inexpensive to fix should it break. I also just bought a new 4X4 truck last summer, leveled it, new wheels, and m/t tires. So it will be quite a few years before I get a Bronco. Eh, just another thing in life to look forward to!

Do you know when the Bronco configurator will be up and running? I would like to see what options are available and a general idea of configuration and cost before I give Ford a deposit.
It took me a long time to figure out that the "Bronco Sport" and the "Bronco" are really two different vehicles. I wonder if others are confused by this. We are considering the Bronco Sport, which looks like more of a "street" SUV (to replace our Forester). Thanks for the video
I hope they don't call it a "Raptor" though. A raptor bronco, so a dinosaur horse? Maybe Bronco R or something. When it does come though it will be a beast.
I love it! That being said, there are too many trim levels. There should have just been 3 trim levels: base, mid, and lux. Then the rest of the options are just that, options. I think I’ll wait until the online configurator is live to try to figure them all out.
Think it will eventually come with a V-8? I would have to wait for that, i know the V6 is blah blah, but a V8 is like ofcourse I want a V8 ! They should use the Land Rover/Jaguar 5.0 Supercharged, i have one in my Range Rover now and it is Badass! 540 Hp. Monster,
@@andy014, most Bronco owners will never take their vehicle off road just like most Jeep owners never take their vehicle off road so having a big V8 for the lead foots makes sense.
Agreed, I would have traded my Jeep Rubicon for the Bronco if I could have at least got a V6 with a manual. A V8 manual and I would be all over it. I heard Jeep is coming out with a V8 Wrangler finally so I will probably upgrade my current Jeep.
Blueknight I feel like they’ll wait for the next generation to do a 5.0 or the 3.5 eco boost to revamp excitement for the brand. It’s the only thing stopping me from buying one and unfortunately for ford I’m probably not the only one.
You're Doin an Excellent job. This Puppy sells itself and we've been waiting too long for it! Thanks you for the info. Who could remember all of that unless they'd been selling it for a year or more. Good job!
Gave thumbs up as I am on the verge of reserving one for myself. This will replace my 2012 Dodge caravan. Bear in mind, I have 6 kids, 5 at home, and a grand daughter. I just bought my wife a new Kia Telluride (love it) and my 16-yr old a hyuandai Elantra. We just donated our 2005 mustang to my cousin who fell on tough times with COVID and her relationship. Not the best vehicle for a single mom with 2 kids but I threw $1,300 into it for essentials and it’ll last her many moons now... I digress, my main issue with all this is, as I go to reserve, I realize, I want the best performance with the most rugged interior. So, why can’t I see the “upgraded” packaging prices so I can make a better informed reservation? For me, I was looking to reserve a wild track but I prefer the spray it down vinyl kids and dogs) which pushes me to the badlands version except then I’d want to upgrade to stronger motor and Sasquatch package... So, how can I determine which initial trim to choose If I can’t opt on the pricing for other pieces of build I want? I may be able to take a badlands and get it where I want it over wildland version but I just can’t see that pricing of options to make that determination of what I should reserve. Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.
I bought the first year Ford Tremor and first year Chevy Colorado ZR2. Both turned out to be mechanic nightmares as it takes 1-2 years to work out the kinks when bringing out new models. Considering this is another new first year model, I was also tempted to buy. I’m going to wait a year, maybe look at buying the 2022 model. I’ve learned buying something “cool” when it first comes out comes with a lot of downsides.

Biggest pet-peeve with (some of) the auto industry in 2020: No standard LED lighting.... in 2020! Why does ford charge you $40k before the LEDs are standard?! Blows my mind.
I disagree. I don't want OEM LED housings for the basic lighting on my boonies rig until I can pick up replacements at any Autozone for under $20. Some of us travel far from home. If you can't see, get your eyes checked. Get the aim of your lights checked. Learn how to use your high beams safely. Use auxiliary lights/LEDs. LEDs of various kinds are great for motos with low stator output. They're stylish on pavement pounders too. They're not ideal as basic OEM lighting on a boonies rig yet, IMO.
You shouldn't want to pay msrp for it either. Wait till some good rebates come around. I got my 35k msrp ford truck for 27k after rebates and dealer discount.
T W yep they lost a sell to me by having a tiny unreliable engines I had a 1973 Bronco I loved I sold for more than I paid after driving the wheels off of it for 20 years and it was a 302 v8 manual I have a mustang gt right now why did they not put the coyote motor in it this is sad day
@@Trumpforprezz28 theres a company out of Texas that will be doing V8 swaps with either the manual or automatic for 30k and for 45k they can supercharge it.
Tim West the 2.7 is far from unreliable. The current coyote has more issues than the v6 2.7L. We won’t see a v8 in a bronco due to cafe requirements. Of Biden gets elected he’ll re-enact Obama’s cafe regs which will make V8’s unavailable in non commercial vehicles under 3/4 ton. There’s a reason ford is so heavily invested in the 4 cylinder and v6 ecoboost motors. You get what you vote for.
Richard Strach as much as I wish they wouldn’t phase out V8’s it’s the way of the world with the religion of global warming. Today’s ecoboost engines make more power than the V8’s of the 80’s and 90’s. Can’t really complain about that.
Badlands, 2 door, 2.3 4 cylinder, manual, roof rack, 2 kayak rack, tow package, winch, pod lights, led off roofing lights, Bimini mesh top, bags for roof panels and doors, base package option, floor liners, keypad keyless entry,, sound deadening hardtop add on. Just a hair under 50k.
@Slippery Storm When I bought my YJ new in 1995, base price was below $9K. Mine drove off the lot with a hardtop, HD electrical, defroster, recliners, backseat, carpeting, and pwr steering for around $12K...and our title/license fees are high, while taxes are around 10%. I also wasn't much of a haggler. TJs were already available new for under $10K. These were ideal offroader rigs, IMO. I didn't sweat a little scratch or dent. A Civic or Corolla at the time was actually a little bit more, IIRC. These newer rigs are crazy expensive to use offroad, IMO. The entry-level 4WD Jeep CUVs are $20K+, and they aren't nearly as durable. The YJs and TJs came with steel bumpers that were cheap to repair/replace, and rocker guards could be made from simply angle, fasteners, and paint. Most newer rigs are now clad in expensive, brittle plastic, with plastic fasteners that disappear.

@@brianm1916 Oh I know there won't be an F-150 interior on the Super Duty for a few more years. However, it shouldn't be much for them to put Sync 4 on the current 8 inch screens. Got my fingers crossed.
Great video. Most informative thus far. I have been a Jeeper since my first Cherokee in '96. I have owned 3 Cherokees, and 4 Wranglers, and even a Galdiator. I got to tell you this Bronco sounds amazing, I'm looking forward to them coming out, and I may just be a convert.
You really helped me confirm I picked the right model.
I don’t really like SUVs or trucks but I’m gonna seriously consider getting this as my next vehicle
This is the most helpful video I’ve seen. I’ve seen so many conflicting starting prices and what each one comes standard with
I'll get a base 4 door once I pay off my 19 f150. I can wait a few years for the problems to be discovered and get a good used one.
If they have problems and then you buy a used one. Your just buying the ones with the problems that haven’t been fixed lol
Josh Block “a few years” implies not just the first model year which has all the problems. For example he buys a used 2022 bronco in 2023
this
never know how first models actually turnout, lotta recalls these days from all companies
Haha right😅
Awesome work! Thank you for all the details! Lot different than my 1970, 302 3spd Bronco, wish they would have offered the coyote motor as an option.
Hands down best video on describing packages of a vehicle. I always hate to go down tne list of all the packages. Awsome they offer the Sasquatch in the lower level. Great job buddy!
I absolutely love the blueish and white colored one that’s going to be my new vehicle once mine bites the dust
Oh My God! Go for it!!!
Great job👍1st editions already full😢I just hope we can get a Coyote or 3.5EB after year one.💯👍
I think I heard somewhere that the 3.5 EB is too big. I am not 100% sure about that. I wouldn't be surprised if they put in the 3.0 ecoboost from the explorer though
Yeah, a Ford Engineer said the 5.0 was too big. The 3.5 will probably be too big as well with all the turbos. The 3.0 I heard will be just right.
If ford can put a gt500 engine into jay leno’s bronco, they can put it into this
The 7.3 godzilla is supposed to b smaller than the coyote.. just saying. There is NO excuse for not having a v8 option
@darkjedi351 then they should have designed it to fit.
Hell Man! You were smoother and more informative than the nameless channel from Colorado
Do you know when the Bronco configurator will be up and running? I would like to see what options are available and a general idea of configuration and cost before I give Ford a deposit.
Its refundable if that makes you feel better
Sure us up and running
It took me a long time to figure out that the "Bronco Sport" and the "Bronco" are really two different vehicles. I wonder if others are confused by this. We are considering the Bronco Sport, which looks like more of a "street" SUV (to replace our Forester). Thanks for the video
Bronco Sport is based on the Escape chassis vs the Ranger based Bronco.
Thank you ! Lot's of hard work in this "how you should order the 2021 Bronco! " Video .. Great Job!!
These things gonna sell like Clorox Wipes after Corona hit.
Baaaaaahhhhh💥🤣👍🏻💯 low hanging fruit baby! People r gonna b all over this!😎👍🏻
Lol
It would if they put a v8 engine in there and not that pitiful 4 cylinder! My riding lawn mower has more power than the new bronco!
Blue Duck you honestly think they are not gonna sell? I guess that’s the reason Wranglers sell so well is the V8 option...oh wait.
@@kimw.5369 Especially those infected by it....
The interiors are awesome.
This is the best video I’ve seen explaining the trim levels and options.
There should be a “OJ Special”
Im definitely going to get a orange one
With White color with BLM sticker lol
Lol I was thinking the same thing 😂
Imagine driving this with a blm sticker 😂
How many vehicle thefts can you imagine?
When the Raptor package becomes available, I'm in 100% What would the guess be, in year 2022? Would they offer it on a 2 door? I can only wish.
That would've made them really cool, a "full-sized" bronco with the raptor package would be killer
I hope they don't call it a "Raptor" though. A raptor bronco, so a dinosaur horse? Maybe Bronco R or something. When it does come though it will be a beast.
@@gp.5989 VW has the R badge. It'll be the Bronco GT or the Bronco Raptor.
Badlands 4 door manual! That marine vibe it brings makes it very unique imo. Awesome video, broke everything down perfectly!
I love it! That being said, there are too many trim levels. There should have just been 3 trim levels: base, mid, and lux. Then the rest of the options are just that, options. I think I’ll wait until the online configurator is live to try to figure them all out.
Hopefully we'll see the 5.0-Liter Ti-VCT V-8 as an engine option in the second iteration of these in a few years.
Or the TT V6 would be cool
7.3 Godzilla would be even wilder!
540 Hp. Monster,
I don’t think that’s ideal for an off-road vehicle
@@andy014, most Bronco owners will never take their vehicle off road just like most Jeep owners never take their vehicle off road so having a big V8 for the lead foots makes sense.
Thanks very informative! I placed my order for a Badlands in July hoping for delivery early 2022. Good things come to those who wait is our mantra!
Really want the v6 with a manual. That option would have me trading in my f250
Agreed, I would have traded my Jeep Rubicon for the Bronco if I could have at least got a V6 with a manual. A V8 manual and I would be all over it. I heard Jeep is coming out with a V8 Wrangler finally so I will probably upgrade my current Jeep.
I6 would be the way to go.
@@stammelblindarcher4477 that would be awsome but doubt it would ever happen
Why didn’t they put a manual transmission in the ford ranger. Plus ford has to do a 5.0 motor option in the bronco
Blueknight I feel like they’ll wait for the next generation to do a 5.0 or the 3.5 eco boost to revamp excitement for the brand. It’s the only thing stopping me from buying one and unfortunately for ford I’m probably not the only one.
No, they don’t.
You're Doin an Excellent job. This Puppy sells itself and we've been waiting too long for it! Thanks you for the info. Who could remember all of that unless they'd been selling it for a year or more. Good job!
These are going to be everywhere!
Awesome video with everything i need to know in one place.
I have my eyes set on this vehicle 🤤 with that being said I can’t help but think if Toyota will ever revamp its FJ Cruiser 🤔
Buy American
I had the exact same thoughts... love the FJ Cruisers...
Dude been thinking the same. I wants me an FJ
The can revamp the FJ Cruiser all they like, it’ll never be an FJ40.
Toyota should re- manfucture the fj 45 diesel pickup! No changes minus motor. just make it again. Sales will run circles around the fiat wrangler
I wish the Wildtrak was available with the manual. I'm a manual or nothing kinda guy and I live in a desert area, that sucks
No manual on the bigger engine, I will stick with my Jeep
Can you post a link to the documents you are following? that would be so helpfu to this tactile shopper!!!
Whenever I have to buy my next car, I will be giving these a close look.
I just started a channel where I take trucks up into the mountains and wreck em. I'm hoping to make a few people laugh.
Is the OJ Simson packages standard in the first edition?
It comes with gloves😂
@@bryanhill4467 That don't fit.

I'm hoping in 3-4 years when I'm settled in my career to get a black diamond with he sasquatch package
Depending on cost/sales, you may be looking at a discontinued vehicle by then.

Tccustoms bronco can’t wait
R.I.P. wrangler
Base model with a 2.7/10-speed. Love that drivetrain in my 2018 F-150 and the performance upgrades are easy. Most of the stuff Ford is offering can be purchased afterward or upgraded with aftermarket, which may even be nicer than Ford’s offerings.
You did SO GOOD on this video! So much knowledge that I wanted to know but to dumb to understand by looking at fords website 😂 liked and will be shared to my Facebook!
Appreciated so much! 🙏🏻
Thank y’all! Many thanks!!!
I have a strong feeling the black diamond is going to be the most popular model.
I think so. Slap in the Sasquatch, 2.7, and Mid Package. PERFECT!!
Right, that was the one I wanted.
Man that was an AWESOME video. Very informative, and well explained. Thank u for taking the time to explain all our options👍🏽
I reserved one of the First Editions, paid the deposit and have a confirmation number. It’s got to be a scam, I’m never that lucky. 1 of 3,500? Hope Ford honors the confirmation number 🙏
Congratulations
You got lucky. Fords system was such a mess, most people couldn't complete the reserve the first 3 hours.
I’ll buy your confirmation number from you 🙃
Biggest pet-peeve with (some of) the auto industry in 2020: No standard LED lighting.... in 2020! Why does ford charge you $40k before the LEDs are standard?! Blows my mind.
I agree, LEDs should be standard on all base models in all makes and models in 2020.
This video helped me a lot to understand the differences between the options.
I ain't paying a dime over MSRP. I'll wait.
You shouldn't want to pay msrp for it either. Wait till some good rebates come around. I got my 35k msrp ford truck for 27k after rebates and dealer discount.
I'm not even paying msrp.
That's why he's offering for everyone to reserve their Broncos with his dealership so those people won't pay over MSRP come purchasing time.
At the current economy, I’m just not seeing any cars from any manufacturer flying off the lot.
Why would they mark up a mass produced vehicle? It’s already over priced.
Reserved the first edition yesterday. Mobile ,al
And they said the perfect informational video doesn’t exist. This was extremely helpful!
I wonder how much more will be with the 2.7 ecoboost engine on the Big Bend package
Well on the 150 its 995 upcharge so I would think it'll be roughly the same
I was really hoping for a V8 with the manual trans
T W yep they lost a sell to me by having a tiny unreliable engines I had a 1973 Bronco I loved I sold for more than I paid after driving the wheels off of it for 20 years and it was a 302 v8 manual I have a mustang gt right now why did they not put the coyote motor in it this is sad day
@@Trumpforprezz28 theres a company out of Texas that will be doing V8 swaps with either the manual or automatic for 30k and for 45k they can supercharge it.
I'm sure a V8 will be available in a couple years
Tim West the 2.7 is far from unreliable.
YES!!!! Jeep prices are finally gunna come down! 🙌
