Interesting comment about calling Ford to change Dealerships. I tried to do that very thing earlier this week and was told I would have to cancel my current reservation (and get refunded) and then make a new one. I talked to two different people at Ford. I told them that was not very convenient and explained how I would lose my place. They apologized and said that is the only way. Maybe Ford needs to get this information out to all their help lines! Sadly, I am to late as I went ahead and cancelled and reapplied for the other dealership thereby losing my place by a couple more days. I would have tried harder if I thought this was the case.
Tom A my sales person told me from the info given at the dealers meeting (best guess) it would probably be a 4K option at most but they didn’t get anything definitive. He said about 75% of their reservations (local) are for the base/Sasq, it’s going to be their #1 seller if the Sasq is priced well.
A lot of people in the comments don’t like that you can’t get a manual on the sask pack. The bigger deal is that you can’t get a manual on the the 6 cylinder!!! In any trim. This will change after the first model year. Don’t panic buy. Wait and get what you want.
Even msrp is over priced . That’s why just like with any new automobile there will be rebates that drop it down from msrp. I hate it when someone try’s to make it sound like it’s some good deal to buy msrp

My 2-door Jeep is rated for 4000lb towing capacity. My sway bar disconnect will disconnect anywhere on any ground. I’m switching to bronco knowing that I’m sacrificing the best off-road capability for comfort. If you want go off road buy a Jeep. If you want commute and get out on fair weather days on some gravel, get a Ford.
Its a prototype accessory but it hasn't been added to the catalogue yet. I suspect that it will be added when they figure out how to produce it, it kind of sucks that they just tease us with it but we can't order them yet.
Correct me please - but the Badlands has the Sasquatch hardware minus the 35" tires. Everything I have read shows the same hardware, just swap aftermarket tires and you'll have a manual 'Sasquatch' truck. Still can't understand Ford's reasons for the smaller motor lockout to manual.
My understanding is that badlands has its own unique suspension (which includes the sway bar disconnect). The Sasquatch package has a few over lapping options like the locking diffs, but the Sasquatch will still comes in and lift the truck enough to clear the 35’s.
@@TCcustoms_ Wait, lift kit? I haven't seen any information (still early, I know) about needing to lift the Badlands to fit the 35" tire. So, what would the 'overall' lift be if it was 2" lift to fit the 37" tire on the pre-production Bronco? Yes, the unique suspension for the Badlands was in reference to the disconnecting sway bar, but the suspension hardware is line for line the same as the Wildtrak minus the 35" tire. No mention of a lift. Thank you for the videos and I look forward learning more about the Bronco as we get closer to build and order.
I sure wish they would offer the sway bar disconnect as an option or package. I want to order the base with the sasquatch package but you have to buy the Badlands model to get that sway bar disconnect. Bummer
Are the transmission gear ratios available yet? Curious to how the low crawler gear is. And what the rest of the ratios are. What is 1st gear and reverse ratio in the auto?
There's probably tons of people who think the Tesla truck looks better than this. Idk anything about the specs and reliability but the people who put together the new Bronco, inside and out, and it's lineup know what the heck they're doing. Almost as if they have decades of car experience in a healthy competitive market. Then there is Tesla who still sit on their initial success and crazy fanbase.
The doors with the holes in them ARE Ford doors not aftermarket. Accessories yes like all the accessories for Jeep made by Jeep those doors for the Bronco are accessories yes but still made by Ford and everything you mentioned was already covered in the original release video if you pay close enough attention to it.
Great video, I did learn several things indeed. Two things I've seen elsewhere that were not covered: -The beautiful saddle brown leather interior in many press photos will not be available. It was pre-production / for photos only. -bronco6g forums is saying Ford will no longer let you change your reservation dealer without cancelling the reservation and creating a new one.
I am trying to get my local dealer to comit but they are not as yet. Found an article that Ford was saying no ADM's but when I called Ford, no commitment there either. If I want to change dealers I have to cancel and start over thereby pushing my place in line back to who knows where. Town and country will be my dealer it looks like if there is no solid commitment as they are only 3 hours from me here in the Nashville area.
Great video. It looks like there would be enough room behind the seat on the 2-door to store the doors. A nice custom rack and some bags would be a good option.
The marine grade vinyl seats sounds like a good idea at first for ease of clean up and durability but as a boat owner for many decades, those seats dont breathe and you will end up with sweaty backsides everytime.
Hey there town and country! Great content, but I must ask I’m located in California will the mrsp deal you are offering can apply to me if I place it with y’all? Much appreciate it and keep up the great work with the content
Ford is doing everything they can to keep people from getting the manual. I was willing to forego the 2.7 for the 2.3 to have it, but now I can't get the Sasquatch package either? Super disappointing
I agree. And I think ford is listening to the feedback on the manual trans with Sasquatch! It completely defeats the crawler gear if you can’t get the better suspension and bigger tires to go with it.
And they wonder why manuals don't sell? I hate driving autos, i refuse to buy a vehicle with an auto trans. I was so excited when I saw that crawler gear in that teaser pic a few weeks back. Then we find out you can only get the manual with the 4banger. And now you this? I don't even know if I'm excited about the bronco anymore. And next year I will be buying a new vehicle. If you want commute and get out on fair weather days on some gravel, get a Ford.
They seriously need to offer Sasquatch with manual... cuz the only Bronco I want is the base Manual Trans and Sasquatch package. All stop. That simple
Man you guys are great. Wish you were in florida.
That Bronco @3:20 is the one I want Mitchell.
Super informational video!
I so wish they would relaunch a vehicle at a price most people can afford. I want a Bronco Type Vehicle with no frills like the old one.
Love the explanation and juicy details. Love the Bronco. I’m going to buy one.
The accessory option on the see thru panel in the door: Does it have a name?
Its a prototype accessory but it hasn't been added to the catalogue yet. I suspect that it will be added when they figure out how to produce it, it kind of sucks that they just tease us with it but we can't order them yet.
At 6:23 - Can you clarify - you mention one can change 'Trim' but what about whether one can change from 4 door to 2 door and vice versa?
Boron Steel Roll Bar. Cool..
How much do we think the V6 will be over the 4 ? $1,995?
Would be my guess
Eric Williams
Can’t remember the exact number but
Badlands ~ 0.5” lift over base
Sasquatch ~1.5” over base
Leveling kit ~2” over base
man it would be cool if you can put the doors in the 2 door bronco. i guess i want the 4 door then wait for when they make changes to the 2 door.
Like the feature to store the doors in the back, but then if you have luggage or other cargo, that’s not doable
If I’m purchasing from out of state, can you provide temporary plates, so I can drive it home?
Most dealers will do that
Any news on whether the back seats are folded down? In other words, flush with the cargo compartment?
Great video and lots of good info Michael..
Always enjoy your videos.
Thanks again
👊🏻🤘🏻
BTW I got a WildTrak reserve.
Here in Memphis, with Landers Ford..
If they mark it up I will be giving you a call.
It's not an anti-sway bar. It's a stabilizer bar. Very different. One is structurally rigid. The other is structurally fluid whilst rigid.
Great video, I did learn several things indeed. Two things I've seen elsewhere that were not covered:
-The beautiful saddle brown leather interior in many press photos will not be available. It was pre-production / for photos only.
-bronco6g forums is saying Ford will no longer let you change your reservation dealer without cancelling the reservation and creating a new one.
Awe man!😢 i wanted the brown leather
@@Buoyant_Thoughts yeah for real me too! I saw it from an article showing a tweet or something from a Ford person. I don't have Twitter myself.
@Town and Country TV what's the cost to change the engine to 2.7
No official word yet but less than $2k would be my guess from 2.3 auto to 2.7 auto
The timing was perfect and now I'm disappointed.
