We have different suppliers. and the do have a precut mask thing for the competition stripes which are more common. This configuration isn't done much so yeah, I free hand it. And the customer gave a reference photo they wanted the stripes to be the same as.

I use a vinyl application squeegee on the tape to burnish it before spraying stripes
