SS super sport dreams does he have it for 95s I just got mine rebuilt a year ago still fresh has cam it's says 355 on the paperwork I have to look at the specifics again but im sure I need a new torque converter
Man my Lt1 just won’t fire, I got gas , strong spark , new plugs, went through 3 opti spark distributors, and my mechanic told me it might be the “computer “ any ideas?
You take care of your ride.. Your ride will take care of you! Can't wait to get my tune brother.. I got 373, CIA QuadOne headers, CAI, Holley 52mm TB, X pipe and added some Corsa mufflers.. That's all as of right now.. Can't wait to see what the tune will do to the ride. Keep up the good work bro!
When I get a chance to imma post my 95 Roadmaster w/ 87,000 miles, my plan is to swap the Caprice/Impala front clip on it and I'm going cat back with the x pipe
So how can I get my pcM tune for my 95 impala SS I've been trying but no replies from Alex I tried some other people i believe the name was sinister If you guys can give me some contacts or some email so I can get this done ASAP did a lot of work to my car and want the computer to be on track
Another this folks your thottle plate with the 6 torque screws.under it is probley full of oil in there. have u cleaned it out yet.it will keep the oil out for better air flow.check my vid so u can see.u will have to put a new gasket tho.i belive it will help with the check engine light to.jus saying
Great vid! Where did you get your silicone hose set? only place I found as of today (5/19/2020) is in the UK and I am guessing they are locked down for the BS Covid-19...
I gotta tune my 96 dcm. I just rebuilt my tran & just hit 125,500 miles. I'm waiting on some Hotchkis parts 2 rebuild my front end. It's also my daily driver so I've been upgrading certain things since I bought the car wit 88k miles in 2015. I had a 9c1 b4 but got rid of it when I got my 96. I live in Norcal & if anyone is close by I would like some good advise on keeping these beast on the road?
I just bought a 96 Roadmaster Wagon with a de-tuned LT-1. All I have to do is replace that module to get it "tuned"???? How much horsepower can be added simply by replacing that module?
you can remove all the airpump stuff as well.... no issues with my 94 or my 95. my 95 is bone stock, so I'd rather put the stuff back on. Nice Jon Moss signature. I parted with my signed car, because I didn't have the money to rebuild it.
Did you swap the pcm from the Vette into the Z? Im restoring a 1994 Z28 as well. Is your security light on or flashing by chance? If i dont see your comment shoot me an email, justnsxx11@gmail.com
Whats up SS, 1st of all thanks for all these great videos in regards to the Impalas they are very helpful. I need some help with my car. I recently purchased a 1994 Chevrolet Impala SS and I notice that when I drive the car in traffic it tends to start to overheat the fan will not come on till it's very hot I did all the checks which fuses relays cool temperature switch fans are working I bench tested them. I did some research and I guess it will be best to get my computer tuned so that the fans could come on on a lower temperature. My car is all stock if I send my computer to get tune what will be some other things I should do to it mine as well get it done wow it's getting tuned. Thanks in advance
@@96_kingz you got a great Chanel I’ve been taking in all your advice and watching your how to’s. I got a 96ss cherry burgundy with 16,000 original miles
Just wanted to comment for early LT-1 4th gens. The 1994 has OBD-1.5 or ALDL and the 1995 4th gen Z28 has OBD 1.5 ALDL. I have owned 2 1994 Z28's. Both 1994 6 speeds. The OBD 1.5 has 16 pins on the connector as the 95 model but if you use the bluetooth OBD 2 connector it will fit but it's useless just as the 1995 model year was useless. In 1996 OBD 2 was introduced. There are free and paid programs and this link covers them all....www.lt1pcmtuning.com/tips/ Basic LT1 Tuning (Part 1): Getting Started ruclips.net/video/y3OMK_CLgYo/видео.html This video makes it very easy to tune your LT-1 I just ran across it today and you have a lot of tuning you can perform!
Hi .. I have an 1995 ss impala X Highway Patrol car. So I'm driving and everything is fine then the low oil level light comes on and the a/c compressor stops cooling. I check the oil level on the dip stick and it's good. So I changed the low oil level sensor. Okay, we're running again all is good then the check engine light comes on and the engine spits and sputters but I finally get it back home..I remove the positive battery cable and touch the positive side cable to the negative to drain any stored energy and reset the computer but the check engine light keeps coming back on. In the last 6 months I have replaced the water pump, optispark, MAP sensor, mass airflow sensor, coil, coil control module and the oil level sensor. Sometimes the car will start in the morning but most of the time it will not...Yesterday evening I replaced the ECT Sensor that goes into the water pump and the car fired up on the first bump of the key. I took the car out it drove beautifully and showed signs of great horsepower and improvement like I've not seen in a while. Right before I got home the check engine light came on but this time the engine didn't stall or sputter like it did the last time.. in fact the Lt1 was purring like a cat. I get the car back in the garage and I turned it off and I restarted it and the check engine light had gone off with out removing the battery cable so I started the car many more times and again the Lt1 started beautifully every time. Okay yesterday it was 85 degrees here...but later that evening we had a cold snap come threw and it was 48 degrees this morning 5:00 am here in Hamlin TX. So I jumped up got dressed and grabbed a cup of coffee and went to the garage and the car would not start but only turn over. But no check engine light. Since then I have purchased a cheap GM reader and I have done the little trick with the paperclip to flash a code at me... it wont do anything but turn on the electric fans... now I've gone back to removing the battery cables and using a jumper alligator clip and the computer will not reset and the car will not start... I have no clue! Please Help.. mrdeanv1@gmail.com

Just cut those air valves off and plug them. Although you might be in a state that makes you do emissions shit, if so my condolences. They're not safe as they can catch fire.

its not the same
So why u didnt jus get ur existing computer tuned
Probably so he could still drive the car while he waited for the other
Is there really a speed limiter on the 96 Impala? Mine barely touches 140mph (on German autobahn)
What was the turn around time on the PCM tuning ?

If you wanted the best performance as you say you do then you need to Dyno tune.
Yeah delete the air pump it’s useless when you do delete it you’re gonna have to tune it if it’s a 96
i rebuilt mine and it's cammed here in California I think I need a torque converter🤔
Does pcm performance do pcm tunes for a 95 impala ss?
Where did you get the clutcher from?
Why not just convert the lt1 over to a 411 ecm that the ls uses
It won't pass visual inspection here in here in Ca.
