Those days when CART was the most famous racing class in the world.
Man, those late 90s Reynard cars were beautiful.
can you make a video of Tracy vs Franchitti
Yeah but it would not be as entertaining 😂 they had a few run ins but always managed to get along. I think the best would be Tracy VS Andretti😅
This is what Tony George wanted to destroy, and he unfortunately succeeded. R.I.P. CART/CCWS.
Most beautiful formula cars ever made.
The unfortunate thing is Bryan doesnt really have the legacy he should have between Long Beach 1998 and Seca. People make a big deal that Colton has already caught his Dad in wins. His Dad would have a lot more if he didnt have to race Pineapple.
While i agree, i think there's no bigger legacy for a father than their kid's success. There's Jos Verstappen who only got 2 podiums in his career, but Max is already on his way to be a 3 time world Champion, there is also Chase Eliliott, Dale Jarrett, Damon Hill and Nico Rosberg who became world champions just like their parents, Richard Petty got 4 championships more than his father. But there is also Mick Schumacher, Tomas Scheckter and Marco Andretti who were nowhere near to match the success of their parents (and grandfather), same with Dale Jr. althought this one was so much better than the 2 mentioned. So, Bryan might not had the success he deserved, but i am sure he is proud of his biggest investment: his son Colton.
These guys were super entertaining to watch back then. I tell ya, I hardly missed a telecast for a VERY long stretch of time.
Respect for the British commentary with Ben Edwards
What a video. Don´t know why you only have 92 subs. You deserve millions!
Ahaha thanks man. It seems like the only way to get big views with IndyCar is making videos of crashes, which I'm not interested in.
Zanardi just bullied Herta in those 2 and a bit years!
That's because he could. As good as Herta was, Zanardi was just so much better. The Laguna Seca pass...he pulled away so much once he passed Herta it wasn't even funny.
Zanardi did objectively outclass Herta.
Let Laguna Seca apart he evidently was
more talented, given they both had excellent
cars. Possibly Zanardi was at some extent a reckless driver while Herta seems a pretty fair opponent to me.
@@INDIGOBLUE555 Zanardi was the better driver for sure often the best drivers are also the ones who bend the rules a bit. Senna and Shoemacher are good examples. Can't deny Herta was historically unlucky driver making his win in 98 all the more legendary.
The man's son has been making waves the last few years I'm sure he is a damn proud father.

Yes,most of top drivers have been and ever will be adamant in being a bit selfish ....Yet being italian I really disliked Zanardi's move and still cheer to Herta for not seeking an easy revange,a kind of instant karma......more precisely :-)
@@INDIGOBLUE555 Can't say it wasn't a dirty move man was literally in the dirt :)
Zanardi demolished Herta
Fun fact is that Colton looks like Zanardi LMAO
Herta kept letting himself get bullied. I respect he was by the book, but stand up for yourself... come on hahaha
Bryan was underrated in CART. Hew was quick just about everywhere.
Best era for open wheel racing only time I've seen Alex raced was IMSA series .
Che miserabile Bryan Herta.
I'd like to know Herta's comments in the aftermath...As far as I was told, Zanardi's move was allowed by regulations back in the years.
Dario raceingl legend, Alesandro zinardi was an incredible driver, allso a legend and inspiration for many people,
Zanardi 💙
Does indycar currently race at luguna seca
Yes
Bro, just Google that shit, hm?
Had Zanardi made that clear as day, off track overtake @ SPA in F1, well, the dude would have had ZERO CHANCE OF getting away with that. If this pass literally decided a championship, then Herta calmly getting out of the car and not saying anything about this is sad
Herta was nowhere near fighting for the championship, rules as they were written at the time allowed it. Speaking about f1, in those years you had 3 championships decided by blatant irregular moves and the results sticked, so I'm afraid it is not the best exemple
