This video means that IndyCar has uploaded all three races that Alex Zanardi won in 1996. This marked the first 1-2 finish for Chip Ganassi Racing in IndyCar. They haven't uploaded a lot of race that took place at Mid-Ohio prior to 2010. I want to see more races from the 1990s!
I think '96 was the best year, 4 different cars, 4 different engines, and 2 tire brands. You never knew what combination would take the win. Not to mention, the best driver line up of any year.
This was the year I started watching (on Eurosport in Europe) and I was mesmerized how beautiful the cars were and how amazing the racing was, compared to F1 I was used to.

Where do you find this info? It's fascinating and I wouldn't mind knowing if that was the crew for the whole year and more crews for other cars/seasons. I only remember ABC mentioning a crew member when something happened to them or CART, it was common in NASCAR around the turn of the 2000s to go through the crew but only inn certain races for some drivers, and even then it was only one or two, not the entire pit crew. So yes, where'd you find this and is there more lists like it somwhere? I want to find the former PacWest mechanic I've exchanged messages with since I was told he worked on Blundell's car in the late 90s
Zanardi leading the rookies to become a future 2 X Champ, only to have his career cut short (literally) in a horrible way. Edit : That Fittipaldi impact with the concrete wall was savage.
I'd have to check but I thought Indycar had the 96 Elkhart Lake race...which had a bit of everything in it, from Little Al blowing up on the last lap, to a pair of flips, one of which wasn't captured that well, the other being Parker Johnstone's on boar roll (thanks, PT), to Elkhart Lake being sold out, and just...Elkart Lake being Elkhart Lake. Need to see if that race is part of the Classic Rewind series, if so I know what I'm doing for the next several hours EDIT: It's uploaded, but not part of the Classic Rewind series. hey Indycar, any chance you could see about fixing that? it's absolutely a classic

CART went to bankruptcy and Champ Car came back, then Champ Car died and IndyCar bought Champ Car. So basically IndyCar bought Champ Car, but Champ Car sucked in 2003-2008 from what I’ve seen
This is what it's ALL about. Being able to back in time and watch these full races is the best . Thank you for posting.
Those cars were beautiful
CART Champcars FTW!!! The best IndyCars ever!

IndyCar is a joke.
