Me and my brother have always thought that the legend of zelda would prefer to have the game "E" rated for everyone instead of anything higher, probably to have the game available for more people in some way. Because you know, for example Twilight Princess is rated "T" cuz of the graphics, so cartoon-ish graphics means E rated... most of the time, and E rated= more people... just my opinion, btw I apologize for my english....

Terry Garcia Same here with Sony but I miss Nintendo and the golden times, but Wii and WiiU didn't convince me. So, I hope the NX will bring Nintendo back into the race.
Wow, there are a lot of people who call themselves Zelda fans who can't even handle one game that is different from the rest. It's time for a new spin on the formula and I think that this is a great way to do it. I personally always wanted a Zelda game that was more open and free, I want to explore and make my own adventure.
Exactly why a majority of Zelda fans did not think Triforce Heroes as a "real" Zelda game. What is a "real" Zelda game?!!?! Every Zelda brings a new spin to the table! ALttP brought different environments, better sounds, introduced more advanced items, and more! Were they all mad about a different and unique game? how about Ocarina of Time, which brought the Zelda series to the 3D world and was VERY different from the 4 games before it? Were they mad then?!?!
+Chris Gousse ok Hyrule Warriors and Triforce heroes were real games. But they weren't real Zelda games. It's like an anime made from a manga that has a filler season where the characters don't affect the over arching plot or storyline across games. They both were certainly enjoyable, fun, innovative games. But we want a main storyline game. From the looks of it, Breath of the Wind is trying to fulfill that wish while still being innovative and different.
I've really only played the first game and Twilight Princess. While TP was a great game, I wasn't really tempted to buy more Zelda games because I was feeling like it's all just one big continuation on itself. Not just that, they literally smacked the music again, twilight princess had one of the best soundtrack's, still miss the game, want to see a second game of that :D

True. I love it so much man. Granite I’ve always been a sucker for the previous Zelda formula prominent in other 3D zeldas but I do admit this is the best Zelda games no doubt in my mind
As a huge gamer I'm still shocked by just how much I'm looking forward to this over any other game in 2016. A true evolution of the franchise gameplay and a giant world full of subtlety, character and intrigue. Sure, maybe I've been overcome with hyperbole, but I couldn't care less; I'm going to be swallowed by this experience come March.
* Futuristic caves with crazy writing and cool weapons from the future and/or past. *Lush greenery and huge plains with enemies camping out everywhere. *Giant mountains as far as the eye can see, all explorable and full of ruins, caves, caverns, temples and more to explore *Mysterious relics everywhere telling as story *Insanely quick and crazy violent guardians out to murder anything that moves *shield surfing downhill while simultaneously assassinating bad guys with a futuristic bow and arrow. *Rock Climbing and then paragliding into groups of enemies *Fishing *item collecting *Insanely moody and subtle soundtrack *Taming horses *Collecting food and creating new dishes *Cooking said food over a campfire *Rolling boulders and rocks downhill at enemies *Building weapons *Using the limbs of dead enemies as weapons *The ability to immediately fight the end boss in your underwear with no socks and a stick *A 30 year old legacy of story, folklore, and legend to guide you through this new story Honestly, I'm having a hard time understanding how any of you are confused that THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD won E3 Game of the Year. I own all three systems every single generation, and as someone that is excited for a LOT of the games shown this year, not a single one comes close to how excited I am for the new Zelda. How some of you don't understand why baffles me. But out of curiosity, can any of you name a game that has everything I just listed that this game is offering? This is a real question. I'd like to know if it's out there. This game's mechanics and gameplay basically reads like a gameplay greatest hits from every awesome open world game released over the past decade lol.
Don't want hate or anything, but this looks like it is going to be the most enjoyable game I'm ever going to play in the Legend of Zelda series. Or any game on Wii U.(Aside from Xenoblade Chronicles X. That game needs a sequel and can take my soul.)
Jeremiah Germain Have you seen the vicious and wild remarks that are being thrown around because people like this game on IGN or Gamespot? PEOPLE love bringing others down when they are happy. Good thing the majority of the viewers here are Nintendo fans so I don't see much hate I guess.
+Implosion Gaming I just went to see what you were talking about and wow there is a lot of hostility I try to stay positive about things but yeah those people are vicious.
well the game grew without voice acting so yea its kinda weird but o think its a good touch since nintendo like to stick to some of its old roots on gaming
+Christian Graulau it fits that's the thing, but this is what happens when a game is defined by something then suddenly it changes, even if the changes are good they feel weird.
Mr. Eiji Aonuma: I played Ocarina of Time in 1998. Bought the Nintendo 64 and video game at Toys R Us in Palomar Street, San Diego City. For Zelda fans it's almost 5 years of wait to see Breath of the Wild 2. For me, it took 19 years to see Breath of the Wild for the very first time. THE DEFINITIVE MASTER PIECE... At least for me, there is no other above it, because of it's gameplay style and revolutionary system from previous ones. Thank you so much for making this possible. Haved been a Nintendo gamer since 1986!
Dusk Smash Y'know what, I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the N64 but when the NX comes out I might.....just might....pick one up and take it home with me to love. Introduce it to my family of Playstations and get back into Nintendo again. I would officially own a console from every company. Classic Libra mentality :D
You live on Neptune to not own a Nintendo console. Nintendo may not be shining as bright as they did in the 80's and 90's but you really need to get a WiiU, a 3DS too. The new games are good and you can download retro game from Nintendo's eShop. Most retro games are just a few dollars. Nintendo is doing A LOT better than the 12 yr old CoD players say. Now excuse me while I go play some classic Castlevania games.
Get a 3DS? Yes. Get a Wii U? I would honestly say no. The Wii U really isn't that great, I'm sorry :/ There are games that have come out where I have contemplated getting a Wii U, but then I would play some of the game at a friend's house and then it turns out the games sucked (Sonic Lost World and Star Fox Zero just to name a couple) and so there's not a whole lot of motivation to really get it. Even Zelda Breath of Life won't be exclusive to the Wii U, so unless you already have a Wii U, it is completely pointless to buy a system just for that one game that will be released in the new console anyway.

Saaaaay Fuzzy Pickles! True even if I was born in 2001 and my first game was loz phantom hourglass Zelda 2 was a good game especially for it's time. I've beaten every game of loz that has been made so far but Zelda 2 will forever be the hardest.
No, not quite.....A few characters did speak japanese in a promotional video for ocarina of time (zelda, navi, maron, saria), there's gibberish from wind waker, skyward sword, and twilight princess, tetra's trackers had voice acting in the japanese version, its just the first time that its in English and we can understand it....
+Novak 2711 acually, i miss the days when Twilight princess was the latest title, when you adventured and focused on the story instead of the nature. Nowdays your playing something that plays out like Minecraft and is much more complicated, I liked it simple and straight forward with like 10 Items like Clawshot and Bow! But that is just my thoughts I might be wrong this game can be great won't judge it util I've played it!
I think this is what Zelda needed. Maybe not this concept for every new Zelda game n the future, but, I think this fresh new take on Zelda is What 2017 needs.
"This really is a mysterious place, and it's kinda, very, um..." KINDA VERY WHAT????? KINDA VERY WHAAAAT?!?!?!?!??! WHAT IS IT AONUMA-SAN WILL WE EVER KNOW HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO US WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Holy wow. That is just one continuous work of art - it's like something out a Studio Ghibli film or something -- and the flavor is perfect, too. Love it.
What a wonderful Nintendo introduction to the legend of Zelda breath of the wild....... great game still and a classic experience today... thanks Nintendo and friends.... - sungxi
I'm getting a feel of a little bit of Skyrim and Shadow of the Colossus. Although this makes my heart skip a beat with how much they've changed the world of Legend of Zelda I honestly feel like the little kid encountering this franchise for the first time. I am so excited to see this game! More than all of the other games that are coming out.
Apparently with recent interviews with Eiji Aonuma and the others, you cannot gain rupees by cutting grass, but rather by selling your items you gained throughout your adventure in towns.
well that makes more sense and im glad rupees still exist but the true question is.... do you make money for smashing someones collection of clay pots?
Yeah, I already have a Wii U - Maybe I'll buy an NX if they somehow prove that it's worth it and that it wont be abandoned as quickly as the Wii U was.
Maybe I've just drunk too much of the Kool-Aid, but this is the first non-Bethesda open world I've seen that feels like a truly open expanse that can just be explored at the player's leisure. Actually, now that I think about it, Xenoblade X, another Nintendo exclusive has been able to capture that feeling pretty well. #wiiumasterrace Seriously though, this console generation has been really boring. If you have a halfway decent PC, the WiiU is the only console you really need.
I honestly prefer the mash-up that made the hyrulian vocals for the game. It felt more natural to me, for some reason. Hoping there's an option to swap between the two. I won't mind sucking up to English voice acting for the sake of the game, but it'd feel weird to have them force it.
Hold on, technology is most certainly not a new wrinkle to add to the Zelda series! Last game literally had a section of the world devoted to ancient robots! Technology has always been a part of the Zelda series, albeit with varying amounts.
Yeah, but I think what they meant is that technology will take a central role in this game, unlike in any other entry. And technology has really only been a part of the world in Skyward Sword. In all the other games, it's just magic, not technology. In this game, looks like they'll be focusing on the inventions of the Sheikah people that have been corrupted or are waking up after being inactive for a long time.
Eeh, you made a mistake here. I didn't even play (or at least i can't remember) most of the oldest and original Zelda games, but if we just take a look at majoras mask or twilight princess we already got enough evidence for technological influence in Zelda. If you don't get my examples already how about the entire water temple in MM, same with Twilight P.
@@jaypostromboli-jpgamertv-457 If a game can keep attention that long without beating it, there must be something good about it? May also mean beating it isn't what makes it fun in the first place? Looking at you elder scrolls and fallout.
😰😭 IM CRYING TEARS OF JOY AND REGRET I A. I DONT HAVE A WII U B THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WAY TO END THE WII U ERA ONE REAL ZELDA GAME... ITS JUST TO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
The sad thing is, when this game's released, the Zelda fanbase will start going "This game's terrible! It's nothing like the older games! Not like Skyward Sword! That game was amazing!"
Sad thing is that they already are whining. Already the complaints of Nintendo "rejecting the Zelda formula" and other such crap like that. Really sad.
People who say this game is "rejecting" the Zelda formula have obviously never played a Zelda game older than Ocarina of Time. This game is so Zelda 1 in its concept, mechanic, layout and build it's crazy.
There are different sections of the fanbase who prefer different games to others. This game will probably appealing to those who like the original game, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, or A Link Between Worlds. Those who prefer the more linear games probably are shaking their heads in frustration at this. Having said that, everything we've seen from this game makes me believe it will break the "Zelda Cycle" once and for all. Skyward Sword is just legit lame in comparison to this.
I think breaking the Zelda formula is pretty refreshing. Lets be honest, the Zelda formula was great, super exciting... back in the days. But looking at rival games, and their use of freedom, it has become very old and many of the features of the formula now simply turn into restrictions to freedom, for new and old generations of players. It always bothered me, that link for example, can't climb a tree, or a rock. He can do amazing unbelievable things, is practically a child of the woods, but can't even climb a tree? Same goes for jumping. There are so may adventure and action games these days that feature jumping (thinking Uncharted for example) but Link still can't jump on his own without a hill/step nearby? So you see it's really frustrating.
I love the open world 3rd person feel to games. and with a legend of zelda twist makes it all the better. cannot wait to get this game. going to get the collectors edition for sure :psz
Im early, so ill make the best out of it. To everybody reading this. You are a wonderful person, you are special, you are great! I wish you a wonderful week, a wonderful month, a wonderful life! I hope you are happy and everything is alright, but if thats not the case, just know somebody out there loves you
Ive played all GoW except for ascension. Dont get me wrong GoWps4 looks like a excellent game, but what disappoints me is that it dosent look or play like God of war, the over the shoulder type of view, as well as the combat. TBH to me it looks like the last of us with out guns, and a bit more gritty. What do you think about it?
Graphics? Shell shading, particle physics engine with real world lighting and wind effects, smoothing on the texture landscape and character rendering with a seamless frame-rate? Its' really amazing how the artists, designers, and programmers all work together to pull it off sometimes. They continue to really outdo themselves each year with these games and push the envelope of performance on these machines.
Link might talk for the first time ever. So long as they got a good voice actor. I'm not gonna say "IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!" after hearing that voice at the beginning. LOL
April 2023. Here to remember this nice day from 2016 when we watched real time gameplay of BotW for the first time ever. Just a few weeks away from the long awaited sequel.
I welcome the voice acting wholeheartedly! I'm looking to see if the voice acting is optional, so that if people who don't want it can disable it. If the voice acting is not well received at all by the majority of the fanbase, then i would say it will be appropriate to remove it from the next title. I'm excited though, i really hope they choose really good voice actors that can truly encompass the emotion and personality of the characters this series can produce.
Daniel Neary haha yeah thats what i was thinking too =p. I'm not on the 4k hype train yet for gaming. Maybe in like a year or two i might be but not now
When he left the cave I just started crying. It's like I'm looking into a world I've never seen before yet seen a thousand times. Man, this game is really hitting my feels box. I'm so so so excited. March 2017, why must you be so far away??!!!!!!???
People always hated on Twilight Princess because it wasn't what they wanted. They wanted an expansive and realistic Zelda, a game like no other Nintendo had made. They're finally getting that
Even though I don’t know a word of Japanese, I can see the passion in Aonuma’s voice that he had for the game. I do love Pokémon games and have played over 800 hours of SV and over 900 hours of SWSH but I wish the people at GameFreak were this passionate about their games too
Its funny how people are saying "oh what a tard, hes laughing at aonumas jokes before the lady translates them, what a kissass!"
He knows japanese so he understands aonuma. The translator is for us.
Exactly, Bill is focusing on playing for the stream, otherwise if he were to translate at the same time as playing it he wouldn't be able to focus properly.
rather a 100% sure. He used to do her job for a decade at Nintendo before becoming product manager, of course he's fluent in Japanese.
huh i didn't know that, thanks
he really is a kissass
I'm very happy they went with a more cartoony, stylized look for the game instead of realistic. It'll really help the game from dating, unlike most open world games.
I agree. A lot of my friends keep complaining about the graphics, but this is exactly how I want Zelda to look.
+General Shitbird Supreme a realistic gritty game on the WiiU would probably look pretty bad anyway!
Amanda Miller I think people underestimate what it can do graphically, but regardless, thats not what I want out of a Zelda game.

I really love the art style for this game. It's nice to see a game that isn't obsessed with hyper-realistic graphics and god-level frame rates. Good job, Nintendo.
Who's obsessed with god-level frame rates? Most PS4/xbone games are only 30. Kind of sucks really. The NES ran some games at 60
Google Zelda 2011 tech demo, and tell me that look isnt good

Why does waiting on every awesome new Nintendo game feel like an eternity?
Because they postpone it two years
Faint366 All good games take time. I would rather they spend longer on it, than giving us a game which could be better
What's even worse is, after the game gets released, if you even blink once, an entire year passes.

Not going to lie. I squealed like a little girl and I don't care. I near fell off my chair when I saw the Temple of Time title come up.
the graphics look like a combo of wind waker and twilight princess and i love that
Wasn't that the same with Skyward Sword mix in the twilight realistic graphics then add in windwaker's cartoony graphics
In a way, yes, but according to Miyamoto (and from playing the game in general), it's graphical style was more influenced by a specific type of painting from a painter that Miyamoto was a fan of. I would say Wind Waker and Skyward Sword
yeah, It has the character design from Skyward Sword, and the contrast/Celshading looks from Wind Waker
I think personally that they took inspiration from studio ghibli. Those guys made some dang amazing work.

WE NEED THIS GAME NOW, NOT IN ANOTHER YEAR.
#Winteriscoming From this day, it will have been released 1 year after this comment was made.
Well now I can say for sure that it was worth the wait
Yo its been 4 years and it was a beyond amazing game
Robitussin wtf are the chances that a four year old comment has 3 replies, two from over a year ago and you from 21 hours ago??? And then I respond? Bruh.
i will add.
I'll bet that the voice telling link to wake up is Zelda's voice.
I think it's Farore
how about hylia
how about hylia
+Aedan Smith Hylia IS Zelda!
no, Zelda is the incarnation of Hylia
That's it...I'm Done...My Life is Complete, after playing this game I can die with no regrets
***** Your right, I must...live on
+Morgan Lemons you're*
why do you wanna die there are many more zelda games going to come out.
+bblurre But unless that takes 3 years as well, it can't be as good.
Zelda is love Zelda is Life
Gotta say, the graphics within this game look amazing and they haven't even finished it yet
Not just that, they literally smacked the music again, twilight princess had one of the best soundtrack's, still miss the game, want to see a second game of that :D
Aaaannnd On Top Of that This is The Wii U Version Imagine The NX Version Possibly in 1080p or 4K :D
TechTrooper64 You have a point
exactly speaking I Have some insider information from a Dev who has a NX Dev Kit And Im uploading the video that explains it all I have pictures in it too Subscribe to me to find out
+TechTrooper64 not with that grammar, I won't.
It’s already been 3 years man. What an amazing game botw turned out to be
And now we’re on a whole new hype train for the BotW sequel, _baybeeeee!_
Facts!
True. I love it so much man. Granite I’ve always been a sucker for the previous Zelda formula prominent in other 3D zeldas but I do admit this is the best Zelda games no doubt in my mind
Oh and also I can’t believe people try to debate other Zelda games are better because this is clearly the best one
@@archiethebat7008 wow I can believe people still watch this
As a huge gamer I'm still shocked by just how much I'm looking forward to this over any other game in 2016.
A true evolution of the franchise gameplay and a giant world full of subtlety, character and intrigue. Sure, maybe I've been overcome with hyperbole, but I couldn't care less; I'm going to be swallowed by this experience come March.
You finally got a comment.
@@liaml1694 You finally got a reply
Whaaaaaa! Link can now jump whenever he wants. sick!
And Climb !
Oh wait he could climb in minish cap
Almost every legend of zelda game he can climb :/
XD i didn't even notice that
Still wish he could roll though... :'(
This will be the first time he jumps manually on 3D graphics. Zelda 2 was the first time ever.
I'm gonna miss the epic "Hyrule Field" music.
We might get it in the release version, Mr. Aonuma did say that he left out a lot of stuff for the E3 version.
I'd rather listen to the same tune repeatedly than nothing at all. With Xenoblade Chronicles that's not a problem.
I want the music from the trailer to play in the overworld.
Perhaps music is still in production?
Actually, at 26:10 he confirmed the decision to remove the music.
So, you can kill enemies and take their weapons?
Please let darknuts be in this game...
That made me laugh harder than it should have.
FireKid112 You can.
how about scythe-wielding stalfos?!
+Bret Donohue YES, them too.
+Sniperninja564 Games Beating enemies to death with a Reggie would be hilarious.
FireKid112
You can already do that in wind waker (but it's slightly different)
And you can steal darknuts/iron knuckles swords in windwaker
* Futuristic caves with crazy writing and cool weapons from the future and/or past.
*Lush greenery and huge plains with enemies camping out everywhere.
*Giant mountains as far as the eye can see, all explorable and full of ruins, caves, caverns, temples and more to explore
*Mysterious relics everywhere telling as story
*Insanely quick and crazy violent guardians out to murder anything that moves
*shield surfing downhill while simultaneously assassinating bad guys with a futuristic bow and arrow.
*Rock Climbing and then paragliding into groups of enemies
*Fishing

*Insanely moody and subtle soundtrack
*Taming horses
*Collecting food and creating new dishes
*Cooking said food over a campfire
*Rolling boulders and rocks downhill at enemies
*Building weapons
*Using the limbs of dead enemies as weapons
*The ability to immediately fight the end boss in your underwear with no socks and a stick
*A 30 year old legacy of story, folklore, and legend to guide you through this new story
Honestly, I'm having a hard time understanding how any of you are confused that THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD won E3 Game of the Year.
+Mr.Mt.Hood skyrim doesn't have para gliding, shield surfing, pushing rocks etc
***** I also don't think it has crazy Magneto powers either just to add to his list of things Skyrim doesn't have.
and that's only what we've been shown, more than likely, there's more features later in the game. and the runes. you forgot the runes.
I also have Xbox One, PS4, and Wii U and this is definitely my most anticipated game.
Illmatic662 Agreed
Don't want hate or anything, but this looks like it is going to be the most enjoyable game I'm ever going to play in the Legend of Zelda series. Or any game on Wii U.(Aside from Xenoblade Chronicles X. That game needs a sequel and can take my soul.)
I wouldn't expect hate for liking this, now hating it is another story.
Jeremiah Germain Have you seen the vicious and wild remarks that are being thrown around because people like this game on IGN or Gamespot? PEOPLE love bringing others down when they are happy. Good thing the majority of the viewers here are Nintendo fans so I don't see much hate I guess.
True This and Xenoblade (X) will probably be competing for my favorite game Ever but I would die for an X sequal
+Implosion Gaming I just went to see what you were talking about and wow there is a lot of hostility I try to stay positive about things but yeah those people are vicious.
you're not gonna get hate here friend. Hyrule Warriors made me smile from ear to ear, this made my jaw drop when I saw the trailer.

That's the one thing you noticed
only 4 min in and this feels like treasure planet
scratch that a mix of Skyrim and rust
More like a cross between Journey and Mario Learns to Type
im feeling more of a mario kart and space invaders
more like puzzle bobble meets tetris
I was getting "the last guardian" vibes from that intro
no matter how many times I hear it, a voice in the LoZ still wierds me out
Hmm.. It felt natural to me.
well the game grew without voice acting so yea its kinda weird but o think its a good touch since nintendo like to stick to some of its old roots on gaming
+jello orihara WELL EXCUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS

And after 5 years, this game is brilliant.
this would be a great game for the happymasksalesman to return in
I think the happy mask salesmen would be great in this game considering he is a wandering mask salesmen
I WILL LICK ON YOUR FEET
Even if he just appeared as an easter egg that would be awesome
But how do masks fit into this at all? The theme is the open wilderness, not masks.
Tingle the gay balloon boy.
This looks absolutely gorgeous.....and I don't even own a Nintendo console. Where the heck am I?
Dusk Smash
Y'know what, I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the N64 but when the NX comes out I might.....just might....pick one up and take it home with me to love. Introduce it to my family of Playstations and get back into Nintendo again. I would officially own a console from every company. Classic Libra mentality :D
You need to own A console to play this . Nintendo still ROCKS
The Wii U really isn't that great, I'm sorry :/
There are games that have come out where I have contemplated getting a Wii U, but then I would play some of the game at a friend's house and then it turns out the games sucked (Sonic Lost World and Star Fox Zero just to name a couple) and so there's not a whole lot of motivation to really get it. Even Zelda Breath of Life won't be exclusive to the Wii U, so unless you already have a Wii U, it is completely pointless to buy a system just for that one game that will be released in the new console anyway.

The Second one wasn't bad. It's hard as hard rocks, but it's not bad (not to me).
Saaaaay Fuzzy Pickles! True even if I was born in 2001 and my first game was loz phantom hourglass Zelda 2 was a good game especially for it's time. I've beaten every game of loz that has been made so far but Zelda 2 will forever be the hardest.

HOLY COW REAL VOICE ACTING
I know right??!?!!? Navi from N64 was like all the voice acting that ever exists in zelda with the "HEY LISTEN" LOL!
This game is going to be absolutely amazing.
Within 2 min of gameplay and I already want to play the crap out of this game. Nintendo: But it's not released yet... Me: Shut up and take my money!
Aren't we all like dat?
+Novak 2711 acually, i miss the days when Twilight princess was the latest title, when you adventured and focused on the story instead of the nature. Nowdays your playing something that plays out like Minecraft and is much more complicated, I liked it simple and straight forward with like 10 Items like Clawshot and Bow! But that is just my thoughts I might be wrong this game can be great won't judge it util I've played it!
+OfficialMrSwets you're right about 2 things
1 to each their own
and 2 don't love it till you try it.
'Shut up and take my money' Man......get a life.
Zainy Zayne I play video games not because I don't have a life but because I choose to have many.
I think this is what Zelda needed.
Maybe not this concept for every new Zelda game n the future, but, I think this fresh new take on Zelda is What 2017 needs.

Woah, that quest pop-up is extremely different from the final game
Holy wow. That is just one continuous work of art - it's like something out a Studio Ghibli film or something -- and the flavor is perfect, too. Love it.
Link is rocking the Shulk in his underwear style.
Lol true
He's really feeling it 😏
Keeping in line with the Sheikah theme of the game it seems really reminiscent of Impa's clothes from OoT.
Sooo...Shulk-ah?
Now it's show time!!!
+Flower jack Shulk time*
What a wonderful Nintendo introduction to the legend of Zelda breath of the wild....... great game still and a classic experience today... thanks Nintendo and friends....
The moment you see a video uploaded five seconds ago.
hahaha
I know right lol😉
Lol this doesn't happen often for me
the moment you see an ifunnier you're subscribed to on RUclips
*clickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclick*
wait.... no one is going to question the lack of the existence of rupees?
omfg i just realised
Might be just for the demo. But with what I've seen so far of the game, that part probably will be well covered.
Apparently with recent interviews with Eiji Aonuma and the others, you cannot gain rupees by cutting grass, but rather by selling your items you gained throughout your adventure in towns.
well that makes more sense and im glad rupees still exist but the true question is.... do you make money for smashing someones collection of clay pots?
if notice in some of the videos, when they go to inventory screen you'll see a rupee indicator
A beautiful direction for the zelda franchise
the female translator is boss at her career. she translated a mouth full. #jelousmuch
Wow this might actually give me reason to play my Wii U.
except it's also on the NX
+michchamp 1900 but not exclusively. They're showing us the Wii U version
Yeah, I already have a Wii U - Maybe I'll buy an NX if they somehow prove that it's worth it and that it wont be abandoned as quickly as the Wii U was.
CORRECTION You mean NX right 😉 but if Wiiu comes first then he'll yeah! I don't think they will release the same time.
+RGkong well i heard the nx and this game are gonna be relesed in the same day
THIS GOING TO BE THE COOLEST GAME EVER!!
you were right
judging by your profile pic, it is lol. i love it sm
And it is... The force is strong with you
This game looks awesome! I can’t wait for it to come out.
#wiiumasterrace
Seriously though, this console generation has been really boring. If you have a halfway decent PC, the WiiU is the only console you really need.
Nintendo just upped the stakes it seems
There's a lot of different fun games on ps4 and Xbox one
+General Hudson Such as?
Fallout, halo, gears of war, battlefield, call of duty, and etc
+General Hudson Oh boy. A bunch of spunk gargle wee wee games. Besides, three out of four of those examples can be found on PC as well.
How is no one else excited about actual english voice acting?!
I'm excited for the voice acting
I honestly prefer the mash-up that made the hyrulian vocals for the game. It felt more natural to me, for some reason. Hoping there's an option to swap between the two. I won't mind sucking up to English voice acting for the sake of the game, but it'd feel weird to have them force it.
Nomi Yoko The game isn't fully voice acted. Only select parts of the story will have English voice acting.
Tyler Christou I'm aware, but my opinion stands. xD
You won't be able to name your character because the game refers to him as link in the voice acting. so that kinda sucks.
Hold on, technology is most certainly not a new wrinkle to add to the Zelda series! Last game literally had a section of the world devoted to ancient robots! Technology has always been a part of the Zelda series, albeit with varying amounts.
Technically clothes are technology.
Yeah, but I think what they meant is that technology will take a central role in this game, unlike in any other entry. And technology has really only been a part of the world in Skyward Sword. In all the other games, it's just magic, not technology.
In this game, looks like they'll be focusing on the inventions of the Sheikah people that have been corrupted or are waking up after being inactive for a long time.
not really
Eeh, you made a mistake here. I didn't even play (or at least i can't remember) most of the oldest and original Zelda games, but if we just take a look at majoras mask or twilight princess we already got enough evidence for technological influence in Zelda. If you don't get my examples already how about the entire water temple in MM, same with Twilight P.
but there's never been a game of just pure technology
26 weeks left until March.
That's literally half a year lol

It's a lot like Adventure of Link
Christina would love this..
Also Iwata.

+ZX6R i kind of liked the white logo on him

Why does that mysterious lady have a voice but no one else? BUT OVERALL HYPEEEEE!
Because she's an important character
Aka
Z E L D A
Probably it's going to be like Xenoblade. Nonimportant NPC's don't get any voice acting but important characters do.
if you think about it is probably Zelda and there is going to be some voice acting in it.
Link might talk for the first time ever. So long as they got a good voice actor. I'm not gonna say "IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!" after hearing that voice at the beginning. LOL
Odds are she is most likely Zelda, but we have no true confirmation yet. But I support this theory easily.
April 2023. Here to remember this nice day from 2016 when we watched real time gameplay of BotW for the first time ever. Just a few weeks away from the long awaited sequel.
I'm doing that too, one week to go! I remember sitting in my high school lounge on my spares watching this all live!
So far only the disembodied female voice has voice acting, not even the old man had a voice, only text.
+Oneish maybe they havent done it for him yet as the game isnt coming out til next year
the nintendo switch is a handheld that might play 4k graphics and u can play it on the TV.
gimme one
oh snap is it gonna really support 4k?!??!? I mean the T.Vs i use dont support it so its "oh well" for me haha but awesome to know!
Fice Gaming TV it won't

Meh. The fact my profile pic exists proves otherwise :P
They Actually hated Wind Waker not Twillight Princess.
Even though I don’t know a word of Japanese, I can see the passion in Aonuma’s voice that he had for the game. I do love Pokémon games and have played over 800 hours of SV and over 900 hours of SWSH but I wish the people at GameFreak were this passionate about their games too
