    Hi When you change your internet modem my camera lose network connection and its offline. To go back up online again, do i need to Reset my dad's camera? so i can be connect it to new Wi-Fi network?. so that means i have to climbing up a ladder to reach the camera to press Reset on the bottom camera🤔

      @@danielw0007 hi Daniel, if possible unplug the NVR for about 10 seconds and then plug it back it. It should reset everything and everything should be back to normal 🍻

      @@danielw0007 You could even unplug or turn the breaker off for that camera for 10 seconds and turn it back on. That should work

    Does your mic or hearing work ?

      The hearing works but the sensitivity could be better... it's pretty weak. My camera model doesn't have speakers for mic 🍻

      To hear you will have to turn on the mic setting on the app. To talk in not too sure. You'll have to play around the with the app. It's been a long time since I used it

      Sorry, I do not. Make sure you downloaded the latest Lorex app and I'm assuming you have connections to your cameras. Click on one of your camera to live view and then top left corner click on ... then you will see motion detection option. All the settings are there to modify 🍻

      Yes are able to save the videos to your phone. All you would have to do is find the time you want to record from the past or even record live footage.

      @@soheilazarrabi8202 Go into "Settings" and then "Maunual Recordings and Snapshots" then you can save it or share it from there. It should be also saved in a folder in your phone. I'm trying to get you more details but my app keeps crashing...

    Do you know where I can put “night colored vision” my cameras are in black and white at night and I can’t find anywhere on the app to change it to color

      It's definitely not an option on the app but it might be available when viewing on the NVR. I don't have a TV hooked up to the receiver. I know there's more options available on there.

    why did you write "just kidding"? is it because you meant that you cant view it from any where in the world? and can you rewind footage on the app? if yes, how long can you rewind back for? thanks

      Hello! It was a joke for spying on the neighbors. You can view from anywhere in the world as long you have internet. You can rewind footage. The about you can rewind back depends on how big your hard drive space. The more space you have the more you can go back. On average at least a week

    hello greetings I want to add another lorex device to my phone app, I have two lorex devices connect one but the other can't connect when adding the other it tells me it shows the email which is associated with the phone of the app but it doesn't advance

      Yeah the app they definitely need to update it. You can try to send an email to them providing your feedback and hopefully they send your input to the app developers

    Can you tell me whats the difference between a NVR 'Cloud App'...and a NVR 'Home App' only unit. They both record video and both can view on phone...confused.

      "The cloud" is what is saved on the server which mostly cost money. That can be viewed on your phone. And the "NVR Home App" will be viewed from the saved data on the storage device at home.

      I've tried to get it working on Windows but it seems to be only for mobile devices and tablets.

    Ik this is late but what happens when the WiFi cuts out ?does the cameras say offline whenever you go on the app?

      If WiFi cuts out then the video footage is still saved on the NVR harddrive. You can still view it later on the app once you have reconnected to the internet.

      You have to make sure your system is compatible with Lorex Home app. Other systems uses Lorex Cloud or Lorex Cirrus

    Ever since the update several years ago the app doesn't work on our phones "wifi isn't strong enough" . And our router is like in the next room

    How can I keep log in in the app after a while it log out and I don't receive notifications.

      That's weird mine rarely logs me out. Maybe once a year. Once I'm logged it I don't have to log again everytime. I'm using Samsung phone but don't think it matters

      You have to have some sort of internet connection in order to see it on the app. The recording system needs to be connected to the internet. You can use a device to convert WiFi to wired to the recording system.

    what happens if your lorex home app Device Storage is almost full Storage 94.9% full >28.19GB
    what happens then?

    How do you fix the screens on your app phone when your screen says "Offline"?

      Hmm I don't think I've encounter that before. I believe that is due to loss of internet connection from your NVR.

      I backed or closed the app and went back in the app and it forced refreshed my video cam Footage. Hope that helps. (I'm sure you probably got it figured out by now...)

    How would you review the software in terms of false positives or missed detections?

      Hi Noodle Man. The only time it's false positives if a bug, bird or some random objects goes into the cameras view. I never get a missed detection. Only many false positives due to flies and spider webs.

      @@KevinPon. thanks for the quick reply. The app seems looking good in your video. In many other reviews I see people complaining about bad software apps and technical support from the company. Have you experienced such thing? How often does Lorex update software and have you had any issue with live viewing remotely? Some people report not functioning at some time and Lorex not providing good support. Thanks so much!

      So far so good. No issues yet. Yes I've read reviews that the support is not good. As long you have good internet connection you'll be fine in watching live on your phone!

      After you have turned on the mic. You should be able to hear sound but the microphone on the cameras are not good...

      The app isn't the greatest... they'll need to do some updating. The app is not perfect. It has glitches... Also make sure you have good network connection on your phone and on the NVR.

    Hi I have a problem when I go to see the videos recorded during the day or night I can’t watch it it give me a message like: play error play to retry but it is the first time that it happens all day

      It's a glitch in the app. I get that too sometime. I close the app and retry again. If that doesn't work uninstall and reinstall the app

    I have a problem. I tried to connect the computers on a tv but it says that the cameras aren’t compatible because of the resolution. How can I change the resolution on the phone?

      Hi Franshesca, I've had the same problem as you. I couldn't figure out how to change the resolution. I was connected to an older tv then I tried to connect it to a newer tv and I was able to see. It worked! You might have to try using a newer TV or just view it on your cellphone or a tablet.

      That is very strange! Does your tv support 1080p? I went through the entire app. Unfortunately there isn't an option to change the resolution :(

      I have one TV that's 1080i and 1080p. The 1080i Samsung didn't work for me it was odd but the 1080p worked

      I and the girlfriend can view the cameras at the same time. Both of you have to use separate accounts when logging on to the app

    App sucks. Keeps crashing, and the Aspect ratio when in landscape mode in iPhone is horrible. Lorex Cloud was better.

      That means there's a connection problem. Are you using the existing ethernet cable that came with the system?

      You should do some troubleshooting. Use a short cable and plug it in the ones that are working. Your cameras or the system might be detected. One of my brand new cameras didn't work. I sent it in and got a new working one back.

      Try holding/selecting the file. Then hopefully you'll be able to delete the footage.
