To go back up online again, do i need to Reset my dad's camera? so i can be connect it to new Wi-Fi network?. so that means i have to climbing up a ladder to reach the camera to press Reset on the bottom camera🤔

To hear you will have to turn on the mic setting on the app. To talk in not too sure. You'll have to play around the with the app. It's been a long time since I used it
Sorry, I do not. Make sure you downloaded the latest Lorex app and I'm assuming you have connections to your cameras. Click on one of your camera to live view and then top left corner click on ... then you will see motion detection option. All the settings are there to modify 🍻

It's definitely not an option on the app but it might be available when viewing on the NVR. I don't have a TV hooked up to the receiver. I know there's more options available on there.

Hello! It was a joke for spying on the neighbors. You can view from anywhere in the world as long you have internet. You can rewind footage. The about you can rewind back depends on how big your hard drive space. The more space you have the more you can go back. On average at least a week

Can you tell me whats the difference between a NVR 'Cloud App'...and a NVR 'Home App' only unit. They both record video and both can view on phone...confused.
"The cloud" is what is saved on the server which mostly cost money. That can be viewed on your phone. And the "NVR Home App" will be viewed from the saved data on the storage device at home.
If WiFi cuts out then the video footage is still saved on the NVR harddrive. You can still view it later on the app once you have reconnected to the internet.
That's weird mine rarely logs me out. Maybe once a year. Once I'm logged it I don't have to log again everytime. I'm using Samsung phone but don't think it matters
You have to have some sort of internet connection in order to see it on the app. The recording system needs to be connected to the internet. You can use a device to convert WiFi to wired to the recording system.

I backed or closed the app and went back in the app and it forced refreshed my video cam Footage. Hope that helps. (I'm sure you probably got it figured out by now...)
Hi Noodle Man. The only time it's false positives if a bug, bird or some random objects goes into the cameras view. I never get a missed detection. Only many false positives due to flies and spider webs.

Have you experienced such thing? How often does Lorex update software and have you had any issue with live viewing remotely? So far so good. No issues yet. Yes I've read reviews that the support is not good. As long you have good internet connection you'll be fine in watching live on your phone!
The app isn't the greatest... they'll need to do some updating. The app is not perfect. It has glitches... Also make sure you have good network connection on your phone and on the NVR.

Hi Franshesca, I've had the same problem as you. I couldn't figure out how to change the resolution. I was connected to an older tv then I tried to connect it to a newer tv and I was able to see. It worked! You might have to try using a newer TV or just view it on your cellphone or a tablet.

You should do some troubleshooting. Use a short cable and plug it in the ones that are working. Your cameras or the system might be detected. One of my brand new cameras didn't work. I sent it in and got a new working one back.

The hearing works but the sensitivity could be better... it's pretty weak. My camera model doesn't have speakers for mic 🍻

If WiFi cuts out then the video footage is still saved on the NVR harddrive. You can still view it later on the app once you have reconnected to the internet.

You have to make sure your system is compatible with Lorex Home app. Other systems uses Lorex Cloud or Lorex Cirrus
Ever since the update several years ago the app doesn't work on our phones "wifi isn't strong enough" . And our router is like in the next room

It's a glitch in the app. I get that too sometime. I close the app and retry again. If that doesn't work uninstall and reinstall the app

That is very strange! Does your tv support 1080p? I went through the entire app. Unfortunately there isn't an option to change the resolution :(

I have one TV that's 1080i and 1080p. The 1080i Samsung didn't work for me it was odd but the 1080p worked

App sucks. Keeps crashing, and the Aspect ratio when in landscape mode in iPhone is horrible. Lorex Cloud was better.

The updated app doesn’t have delete recording on it so it’s filling up my phone 🙁
Try holding/selecting the file. Then hopefully you'll be able to delete the footage.
