Hi. Ive been having problems with the shared user since i was able to ser it up but whenever he wants to see the live view it keeps saying error. What can i do?
Thank you for your video. A few questions please. How reliable has the phone app been? Does it crash? Is it slow? Has it worked everywhere quick? I currently have several Ring stickup POE cams, but looking for some redundancy. Looking at buying a Lorex NVR system from Costco. Thank you in advance.
@@king-ms9od i called lorex tech support an they were able to get the function i needed. i dont have this key on my version of the lorex app, give them a call and see what they say. they were actually quite helpful for me
I am confused as to what you mean. Persons that I shared live views with, are instructed to...are sent an email and instructed to Download Lorex app, then register on the app, their name and their email and phone number. Create a password. Then after that, they need to go back to email invite, and click [ACCEPT] to link into viewing LIVE VIEW I never had to give access to my Lorex account.
Yes. It I'd kinda hard to find in app. But, it is there. Click on Home... Settings... Have to Scroll down to [SHARING] then send invite to email of person you want to share views with. They need to open invite email by 3 days expiration They need to download app. Register using their own name, email They gave you, their phone #. CREATE their own password. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR ACCOUNT PASSWORD After ther got success notification Then they need to go back to INVITE EMAIL Click ACCEPT INVITE Now they will be able to see what you decided to see or hear.

Late response, but I have been very happy with the app. No problems at all.
I have the lorex home app but I don't the add user key under my settings. Is there a different app you are using?

That doesn't sound right. The sharing feature is on the app.

Are you asking if you tell if another device is actively watching, the answer is no.
How can I remove someone from having access from my camaras?
Go back to setting and share device and delete the other email you granted permission to.
I don't have shared users option on mine. What gives?
Looks like Lorex has changed the app. I can no longer find a share option.
