The blue lightning dragon was Brimscythe, The Iron Storm. The white ice dragon is Vorugal, The Frigid Doom. The black acid dragon is Umbracyl, The Hope Devourer. The green poison dragon is Raishan, The Diseased Deceiver. And finally, the largest of them all, the red one is Thordak, The Cinder King. Thus is the Chroma Conclave upon us!
Oh I’ve missed you two reacting to this! Mana is a good way to explain it! Basically, the Magic characters only have so many high level spells. The dragons where coming even if Brimsythe hadn’t died. This was their plan all along. Dragons are: Vorugal - ice/white Thordak - fire/red Raishan - poison/green Umbrasyl - acid/black It’s hard to tell what colors they are, so don’t be upset. I only know b/c of being a critter and playing DND. Can’t wait for you to see the rest of this season! Also, this is my favorite arc of the show. Mainly b/c I love dragons. 😂
i think the dragon "Infared vision" was actually an ability called truesight of which one ability it has is to be able to tell if something is an illusion... brimsythe did not have this ability bc he wasn't nearly as powerful as any of these 4 ancient dragons (older a dragon is the more powers they have and the stronger they are) edit: also just as a heads up all the dragons are different, obviously, but not just in element and size... the white dragon (vorugal) is the most beast like and lest person like out of the 4, meaning they function more on instinct and their predatory nature than their intelligence. that's why u don't see them monologuing and just attacking.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but it's actually all the same campaign, just a new arc. This arc should actually be spread out through at least 2 seasons so season 3 will definitely cover this arc as well. Allura and Kima are actually a couple, sorry Glacier lol. This attack on Emon was devastating in the campaign and it was so awesome to see this animated. The woman with flowing black hair that disappeared - you'll learn who that is soon and just how much she plays into the rest of the storyline. It's significant to say the least. Pike was 'tapped out' because she was out of spell slots to heal by then. A long rest is needed so she would be able to finish healing him the next day unless someone else has healing spells available. The portal through the tree is Keyleth's Transportation Via Plants spell - the same one she used at the end of last season to get back to Emon. Glad to have you back - been looking and waiting for your reactions to the trailers and teasers, but never saw anything lol.
I don't know if anyone else caught it, but the "Poison Gas!!!!" from Ember made me laugh. I needed a Harold and Kumar reference today. Love the reactions, y'all!❤
It's good to be a member of the Dragon Squad this episode. Yeesh! Personally I'd say Umbrasyl is the biggest bitch on the team, but facts is facts, Thordak runs this show. The huge problem here is that usually dragons are too egotistical to work together. But somehow these ones are working together anyways. This shows what can happen when dragons do work together. (so does your channel! props) I also like how you guys are acting out exactly how they'll defeat the Chroma Conclave. Keep bickering! There's a bunch of powerful shit at Vasselheim. Forget the "Whispered One," they got lines to all the prime deities there.
Was I kinda cheering for the dragons while watching this last night? Yeah. I had to come over and see how you all were doing with the first episode! So excited we have so much to look forward to
At least you both are honest 😂 sometimes you gotta throw spaghetti at the wall it might stick but according to both of you it’s not going to for me dammit lol appreciate you watching and the support
Mana is an accurate but simplified way to describe the spell slot system. Spells are categorized by power level 0-9. Spell caster classes are restricted to being able to cast a finite number of spells for each level of spell per day. Lower level players start off with lower level spells and fewer spell slots, and then progress to having more spells slots and access to higher level spells as the game goes on.
Here we go again babyyyyyyy! Since you guys were wondering on names, here you go along with their titles: Thordak (red, fire) the Cinder King Vorugal (white, ice) the Frigid Doom Raishan (green, poison) the Diseased Deceiver Umbrasyl (black, acid) the Hope Devourer and ofc Brimscythe (blue, lightning) the Iron Storm
In D&D spell casters have spell slots. It's the number of times they can cast spells per day. It represents their stamina to control the magic they are channeling.
I don't know how canon it is to the base rules, but in ExU Calamity, the DM Brennan narrated a scene where they examined an Asmodeus cultist (for the Reaction Dragonz, Asmodeus is the god/ruler of the Nine Hells). Rather than being granted power by him, and using it sparingly, the cultist had been fed a lot of power and made to use it a lot to further Asmodeus plans. As a result, the body was riddled with mutations and tumors, because a mortal body cannot handle that much power in such a short period of time. A more benevolent god or goddess would not want their clerics to die prematurely so they make sure that their clerics have the wisdom needed to not push themselves too far. Even evil deities would normally not want their clerics to burn themselves out like that, but Asmodeus was on a time limit due to the apogee solstice, and for these cultists he didn't need clerics - he needed puppets. So it didn't matter how much power they used or the side effect that had on their bodies.
A quick comment to explain NORMAL dragon power levels (I say normal cause these are out of the norm) -In the chromatic dragons the red ones are the most powerful and the ones who live the most 2500 years on average -In the metallic dragons the gold ones are the most powerful, they are also the most skilled as they train in magic (But again, so do the chroma conclave, is not uncommon for a chromatic dragon to learn magic) and the live on average 4400 years The metallic dragons live longer cause it is said that the chromatic dragons power is to wild/ chaotic/ powerful, so it consums them from the inside, But fear not, death is just an inconvenience, as dragons when they die they can choose to merge with the land, Literally they becom a pseudo-spirit and can change the area around them like a terraforming tool, the more powerful the more big the area, if they choose to die-die, they eat their gold hoard asn this is the payment to enter their respective afterlives Also thanks to new books we now know that there is a third option, when a dragon grows so powerful they become a liferal manifestation of the element they represent they become so long lived that there is no records of one of these great wyrms ever diyng of natural, and if you try to kill one it would be like trying to kill a demigod
here's one Ember will like, in D&D White Dragons (Ice) are the ones with the lowest intelligence of all Dragons, while Reds (Red) are the Most arrogant, Green (Poison) Dragons are by far the most intelligent, with Blue (Lighting) being the most social, and Blacks (Acid) are by far the most Evil of the Chromatic Dragons.
The blue lightning dragon was Brimscythe, The Iron Storm.
The white ice dragon is Vorugal, The Frigid Doom.
The black acid dragon is Umbracyl, The Hope Devourer.
The green poison dragon is Raishan, The Diseased Deceiver.

100% i'm a critter and i had to see what elements they were using to tell who they were except for thordak obviously lol
@@ticozayas6430 SAME. But I LOVE their designs! They’re so badass!
@@laurahart1337 they all look so good i love the designs too, unbrasyl i think is my favorite look of the 4
@@ticozayas6430 NICE! I can’t pick a fave, I keep going back and forth they’re so good. I’m def going to use their designs for a campaign.
@@laurahart1337 their designs are quite close to the official DnD designs so you should be able to use the books for reference!

After I saw the first episode by myself. I thought of you guys and I knew Ember was going to have fun with this episode😆🔥
I don't know if anyone else caught it, but the "Poison Gas!!!!" from Ember made me laugh. I needed a Harold and Kumar reference today. Love the reactions, y'all!❤
I just found your channel. This was an incredibly entertaining reaction. You guys are a riot!

If I remember correctly from the campaign Emon's population was around 100,000 and the dragons' initial attack killed 70-80k people.
The white dragon is known as Vorugal, the Frigid Doom
Was I kinda cheering for the dragons while watching this last night? Yeah. I had to come over and see how you all were doing with the first episode! So excited we have so much to look forward to
I love that my guy here thinks he's got a shot at Allura.
He'll shoot his shot and end the same way as He who shall not be named.

Haha! I’ve been wanting for your reactions to this! You can *feel* the power of the Croma conclave, feel the power of the dragons!

The dragons look so fucking cool I'm so happy with all of their designs (my favorites are the ice dragon and the fire one)
Red - Thordak - Fire
Green - Raishan - Poison
Black - Umbrasyl - Acid
White - Vorugal - Frost/Ice
6:41 Who is that? Listen closely to the background sound effects for a hint ;)
Oh yeah, we're back baby!
Blue! You're an adult? Act like an adult dragon before you can hope to become legendary
😂
I'm team gold dragon. Sadly there isn't any nearby right now and I think we don't even have a bronze, copper, or silver dragon on standby.
