I cooked this yesterday. The only change I made is that instead of using blender I cooked it for a long time over low heat, adding some pasta water in the process, as tomato liquid was slowly evaporating. This worked amazingly well, the sauce was very creamy and flavorful. Greatly exceeded my expectations.
My mom and I used to cook spaghetti together before she passed. It was my favorite dish but I haven't been in a cooking mood since passing. That is until I found your channel. She loved Italian food so much and I know she would have loved your channel. Thank you so much for helping me to enjoy cooking again.

Ahh yes Ive done this a lot. I always add pecorino though. And I grow my own cherry tomatoes. Mine are yellow however as they are less acidic. Still taste amazing

I just wanna say this pasta turned out INCREDIBLE!! The only changes that I’ve done was the tomatos, I used vine instead of cherry tomatoes! We also used grana padano freshly grated! We also did chicken milanese and salad to go with it, it turned out SO GOOD!!!!! I’m definitely saving this recipe 🤩💗

That was my first spaghetti that I made in my life pretty similar. As for a student it was quick, affordable, tasty, full of flavours. As you said I used peeled tomatoes. But now I will follow this recipe as I like your videos an recipes 🙂Grazie Vincenzo.

I just made it, it's so delicious! I did change a few ingredients, such as dried basil since I didn't have any fresh basil, and I added too much pasta water so it appeared to be like a soup before but it quickly thickened and became a beautiful sauce. I also added some butter and chilli flakes (i like spicy). Thank you for the recipe, I'm eating it right now as I type this, it's so delicious!

I'm Filipino, and Filipino Spaghetti tend to lean on the sweeter side. Since I had fresh basil in my garden I made this and gave it my Mom and aunt, to my surprise they absolutely loved it. There is a small company named Delgosso in Tipton Pennsylvania. They have a sauce called extra tomatos. I think it is the best tasting store bought sauce you can buy.
I've eaten spaghetti, made from a jar in true American fashion, all my life and this hands down the best spaghetti I've ever had. I spent just as much effort as my mom did pouring prego from the jar but the difference is so impactfully different that I'll never forget this meal.
I just made this 2 nights ago! It was so good I’m making it again! I adjusted the recipe with more garlic bc my family eats lots of garlic and in my culture too, and i also added spicy pepper in it. Delicious! 😊
Dear Vincenzo. God bless you and your family! You have a special place in my family's heart. Since I've discovered your channel (last year in this period), my kids are eating: cabonara, pomodoro, tuna pasta, aglio e olio and some other simple recepies from your channel. What is amazing -> being frustrated by the poor quality of some tomato paste from the supermarket we did OUR own tomato sauce/paste. From tomatoes in our garden (with basil, sometimes onion, sometimes with some pepper and a bit of honey), in jars and should last over winter. Our own tomato puree/paste tastes frickin' awesome. Plus, I started experimenting with the recepies. Maybe the results are not italian dishes, but the ingredients are mostly natural and simple dishes. Kids love it and they love you. No blending for me - I don’t want an orange sauce from whipping in air. I would try a food mill for a smooth sauce.

I'm Filipino, and Filipino Spaghetti tend to lean on the sweeter side. Since I had fresh basil in my garden I made this and gave it my Mom and aunt, to my surprise they absolutely loved it. They said it's a beautiful, light dish with a creamy sauce. They were even more surprised to learn that this is authentic italian spaghetti. Thank you Vincenzo❤.

There is a small company named Delgosso in Tipton Pennsylvania. They have a sauce called extra tomatos. I think it is the best tasting store bought sauce you can buy.
I've eaten spaghetti, made from a jar in true American fashion, all my life and this hands down the best spaghetti I've ever had. I spent just as much effort as my mom did pouring prego from the jar but the difference is so impactfully different that I'll never forget this meal.

Dear Vincenzo. God bless you and your family! You have a special place in my family's heart. Since I've discovered your channel (last year in this period), my kids are eating: cabonara, pomodoro, tuna pasta, aglio e olio and some other simple recepies from your channel. What is amazing -> being frustrated by the poor quality of some tomato paste from the supermarket we did OUR own tomato sauce/paste. From tomatoes in our garden (with basil, sometimes onion, sometimes with some pepper and a bit of honey), in jars and should last over winter. Our own tomato puree/paste tastes frickin' awesome. Plus, I started experimenting with the recepies. Maybe the results are not italian dishes, but the ingredients are mostly natural and simple dishes. Kids love it and they love you. God bless you, dear human colleague :)

I have recently found an Italian wholesaler not too far from me so I'm gonna go get a load of pecorino Romano and quality pasta, plus some burrata as it's my wife's favourite 😋

I use both cherry tomatos and a great pasata when I cook pomodoro...two different tomatos that gives it a great flavour..🎉
