In this video I will show you how to take a photo and make an artistic part photo part sketch image using Photoshop. I learned this method from a Web tutorial by Scrappy Irene at Oscraps.com, a link to it is in the description below. Several examples are also included there of results that others had using this method. But as far as I know no one has made a video of the tutorial.
This video was made for instructional and educational purposes. In it I teach people how to use Adobe Photoshop
to make interesting designs. No copyrighted materials were used in this video.

Much of your video is worthwhile and educational, but I could not create a watercolor using this technique. None of the watercolor brushes are available in Photoshop version 20.08. Neither is the photograph toning gradient. If these are legacy settings, you should say so at the start. Otherwise, thank you for this tutorial. I can see that most of your viewers got more from it than I did.

Thanks for your comment. I had a similar problem when I updated to CC 2020. I made the mistake of answering not to use my existing settings. I ended up losing some of the custom gradient maps that I created. It seemed like the legacy brushes and gradients and patterns were lost, but they were not.
I found a video by Colin Smith at photoshopCAFE which helped enormously.

Follow the video and you should be able to get back your legacy brushes and most of the legacy gradients and patterns.
Unfortunately, I lost some custom gradient maps. Some of them were saved into my Assets and I got them back.
Others that were downloaded from other sources were retrievable as I had a backup.
Hope this helps you. I believe you should at least be able to get back the legacy brushes and gradients and more.
