Carl Panzram has got to be one of the scariest people to have ever walked this earth.

yeah, just been researching him because of that movie with James Woods portraying him. Terrible things that happened 2 him at twelve, things that no human should ever have to endure so i can kinda understand why he lost his empathy & became methodically insane jus a shame nobody put him out his misery early doors before he went on to cause such nightmare carnage.
I think the best hope for someone suffering such hideous abuse in childhood is to be steered into helping others who've had the same.

If Panzram is frightening, it's because it's clear he didn't have to turn out this way and could have been a normal person.

i accidentally scrolled down into the comments here and was pleased to read this. glad to see someone who comprehends the context of his life and doesn't write him off completely. he did many terrible things, yes. but he was also a human like the rest of us.
