That would require Vect to actually fight, he's so rich that he does not have to.
Except Malekith being the actual chosen of asuryan makes sense considering
1) his father was the original phoenix king
2) the phoenix King's who came after cheated the test by using spells to protect them

@@NeloBladeOfRanni They managed to make some reasons behind it, but the problem lies (for me atleast) to the fact that it came out out of nowhere. Malekith, who was always portrayed as a one of the most evil character in Warhammer, was just suddenly validated and quasi-forgiven for all the monstrosities he commited.
One way it could have been interesting would be for him to have a series of event leading to the realisation of all his wrong-doings, and plunging into the flame of Asuryan as a suicide-repentance, and then becoming a reluctant Eternal King (since he now would be worthy unlike the first time).

His cunning and intellect is so great that he's always at minimum 5 steps ahead of his rivals and his counterplans against them end up hilariously (especially if his enemy's plans involve daemons).

Edit: Best part about him is that he was a slave who became a self-made DEldar. Only his ex can match him in all of Commoragh.

The Harlequins resurrected Vect because, let's face it, he's pretty damn impressive.
Chaos is ALWAYS trying to get into Commarragh. Vect, and only Vect, has the strength of will and BALLS of STEEL and singlehandedly keep the Drukhari in place. There are no psykers in the Dark City. Daemons are not tolerated. Like it or not, The Dark City represents one of the largest single locations that can claim to be free of chaos taint. The Harlequins want to keep it that way.
Your not wrong either. Though some idiots have been fiddling with tyranid dna that's more of amusement for them. Especially considering how it could end with fewer idiots being alive.

I think they helped him because of 2 reasons a pact made where the Laughing God gets 1 favour anything anywhere anytime of Cegorach choosing, and to make him that the Dark Muse. Building up that Eldar fire power so when the time to go after Slaanesh happens they will be ready.

I feel MajorKill made an error, the true most evil person in 40k is the master Homunculus Urien Rakarth. The guy that, if it weren’t for the fact his soul be a toy for Slaanesh, would be the Avatar of Slaanesh by now.
I'd love him to get his own model alongside a Druhkari refresh. I also wish for a million dollars.
Without doubt the best villain 40k has who is criminally underused. Vects rise to the position he is on today would make for one of the most insane series of stories ever imo.
I'd put him behind Drazhar and Lelith in terms of actual combat ability, but he's still a fucking menace, specially cause of all his personal tech. If he ever makes it to the tabletop, they better treat him like The Silent King and give him a massive stack of abilities.

If anyone is interested in Dark Eldar lore the Path of the Warrior/Incubi/Archon trilogy are FANTASTIC. The "Path" books have a bad history due to the Craftworld Eldar entries but the Dark Eldar ones are WELL worth a read.

Somewhere between this new lore, the onetime successes of Necron units, like the Catacomb Command Barge, and the Silent King, and the DEldar getting a new detachment that specifically enhances skimmers, and transports, I'm really hoping that, when the DEldar get thrir next codex, that theyvalso regain access to Vect, as a model/unit. Maybe he shouldn't be on every stray battlefield, but then neither should several other auto-include characters, so here's hoping?

I know you have a lot to fit into a 10 minute video if it's solely going to be about Vect but I think the Battle of Commorragh (M.35) is one of the most interesting snippets of 40K to me and I think it deserves it's own video, a lot of spicy shit in that story.

I think the Harlequins helped him because he is the best option to rule the Dark Eldar and the second most powerful one and losing someone as powerful as him would hurt The Eldar as a whole, so while The Harlequin want the Ynnari plot to succeed and he hurts that he is also too strong of an asset to not have on board.
I absolutely love DE. Super underrated. The DE are about the only faction that actually scares me. Would rather run into Nurgleites.

His Dias(ship) was changed into a flying armored pyramid in the Path of the Dark Eldar Series. Its a good upgrade as its described as damn near impenetrable, and honestly may be impenetrable, but since Vect had a clone in there, it probably was not either at full power or his real Dias.

I've long felt that the Eldar and Dark Eldar should be switched. With the Dark Eldar being the dudes that cruise around the galaxy in world ships and the vanilla Eldar being the dudes who live in the webway.

It bums me out the Eldar in general are such an awesome faction. Their history, technology, unparalleled martial and psychic abilities, capabilities, narative potential, and I really love their ascetic FR. I have always been a hands down "Dark Eldar #1!" Kind of a guy and the other various factions of the Aeldari are in the runner-up slot. (Not that I don't really enjoy all the other races and just the entirety of the universe and setting). I keep waiting for their time in the spotlight as literally EVERY SINGLE OTHER FACTION/ARMY get theirs... not only that, but incredibly fleshed out, new sexy models, novels, games, ect... We witnessed the resurrection of the Sisters then Grey Knights, mechanicus got armies, THE MOTHER FUCKING CUSTODES THEN SQAUTS!!!(loved it all btw 😂) Now it looks like we might be getting Dark Mechanicum even!! I just want to see all that LONG OVERDUE kind of TLC for my beloved Dark Eldar and their whole extended family 😢 GW missed out when they did the massive(and desperately needed wonderfully done) Necron redux. They have so much potential for great lore, narratives, even potential for some retardedly epic "War in Heaven" side content like with horus heresy and have more than "Necrons and Eldar are both super old and hate each other because of war in heaven. It's was mind-shatteringly badass and literal gods were going at it beside them aswell. It was sweet. Whelp, that's pretty much it, the galaxy was fucked over and necrons went to sleep and Eldar were like ok cu l8r
