Its almost impossible to translate the German Lyrics into any other Language,because its completly made of Metaphoric Sentences.Only native speaking Germans can realy understand the Genious of Till's Lyrics. By the way,the OFFICIAL VIDEO of DICKE TITTEN was just released a few Hours ago......

I don't think anyone was expecting that. I was watching another reaction channel and they busted up laughing as soon as they figured out the translation. How the band got a choir to sing that intro without laughing is beyond me lol.
not only is Flake killing it technically but i feel like he was having a lot of fun doing it too. a lot of love was poured into this album, to the point you can feel it.
Yes, Flake does a very awesome job on the album. All songs have great arrangements - especially the keyboards are surprising and really tasteful!

Actually laughed so hard the first time i heard the choir, so typically Rammstein, i love it. Wait till you've heard Bück Dich, Zwitter or Knebel by Lindemann. The man is a f'ing genius and just a magician with the German language.

The additional quality of this song is that it consists out of a lot of german phrases and proverbs which get a double meaning in a sexual way. So I expect the english version of this song is not that funny and great as the original german version. But also the music is still many fun! ;-) Greetings from Germany
I was totally ok with this song. More than ok.
Being German, I listened to the album without lyrics for the first time and one wouldn't really be able to understand what the choir is singing in the beginning, so Lindemann hitting the listener with the "Ohne Kondom" in the chorus came as a real jaw-dropper.
I am not a German, but instantly picked Ohne Kondom from a choir....

Honestly having grown up not knowing a lick of German or having any German friends or knowing anyone German, I found Rammstein at young age and have been listening to them ever since. Today I understand and speak German, and there music hits even better than before! Love that they’ve continue to get better & better with time! Also I now work with German colleagues, they’re surprised with my interest in them😬

The lyrics of this song are absolutely harmless and not vulgar compared to the lyrics of many Lindemann songs, especially from the first album

The first surprise I had with this was that "OK" stands for "Ohne Condom". The second was that the starting choir is sounding like church music, so a clear pointing out to the pope, who still is not allowing to use condoms, and yeah the rest is just fun, musical fun and word playing fun.
Dicke Titten has just been released as a music video, so you might want to check that out (it's hilariously good).
This album is certainly my AOTY and I have to admit I agree with you that only Rammstein can make a song about sex and literally make it a Banger ☺️😁👍 dikke titten has a video to go with it that premiered today so you must watch with the song...it's brilliant! every line in the lyrics are German sayings and puns, but slightly altered, just a word or so, which sends the meaning in a very different "special" direction. I love that! :-D
I think to remember that there was a poster campaign in Germany a few years ago on the subject of AIDS. "Ohne Kondom..." hung in big letters at every bus stop
There are a lot of puns in this song again...some are really funny when you speak german..there is also a little touch of SM-sex :)
Another German metal group, Oomph, has one called, "Sex". I don't know how you could actually react to it but it's worth the watch. One version in particular. Experiment when watching and you'll find it. Again, I don't think you could react to it but it is insanely good!!!
On to Rammstein... what's not to like. Just amazing. I'm only sorry I decided to discover them last year. Now I listen to everything theirs. And what can be said about their videos. So professionally done. I mean how many videos have credits.... that you want to watch!!

Understanding Rammstein lyrics in the full will be no mean feat, and I don't say that to discourage you - on the contrary! I think if you understand Rammstein lyrics in all their double meaning, you can honestly say you mastered the German language. My particular favourite in this song "Du steckst, steckst nicht drin" which is such a German expression, of course the literal translation is "You are not in it" which in the sense of the song..... we all know what things go in where. But the way it's ususally used in common, informal conversation it means "It's hard to understand this or that person" ... why they did or said something, because you're not them. You're not in their skin basically. It's those little lyrical bombs that only Till can place so well.
Listen to Rein Raus in Mutter it is like OK but better

As you learn German, I recommend to activate German captions for Rammstein songs instead of English. It will boost your progress a lot.

There's a difference between autotoon and a singer and many RUclipsrs use auto tune
Almost every sentence here is a wordplay .. but they are combined german sayings.. so it’s difficult to translate (how it feels) .. it’s like through the sarcasm that comes with the overuse of the sayings the simple mindsets of men are supposed to be shown.
Edit: now that I’m thinking of it - this might be kind of a „theme“ to many songs on this album. Ageing, simple and lost men 😅..

I kind of understood the song ends with the notion you should not put your stuff into any hole without a condom. Like that would be really stupid. So it is not just dirty, if I am correct.
A little hint: It may be not a coincidence that a female CHURCH choir is singing in the beginning and also appears again at the end.

I'd say the the hole song is OK
The translated lyrics unveil the content but not the art and fun. All lines beside the chorus are German proverbs or common expressions without any sexual reference that were screwed up by unusual tiny changes or sometimes just by putting them in this context.

I love Rammstein art but I do have to point out flaws when I see them. Every Rammstein song is written in the same structure. Simple kinda early 2000s riff (which is catchy) then it’s just this simple drop into the song/singing. It’s good but extremely repetitive song writing
And? The formula works. Mumble rappers keep mumbling and they think their noise is music. It's not. Anyhoo each song is different and it follows the simple way of verse and chorus which has been done forever and works
People, dear Aileen! You should know Rammstein by now!? The current album is now absolutely harmless compared to previous albums.
