There's a heart breaking honesty about both the song and the video. Our perfect moment is our moment of birth, when we're all a blank page essentially. We're not tainted by life or time at that point. From there in in, we're simply on a journey, rough or smooth, until the point that our time ends whenever that may be. We can't control when it is that out time will end, young or old, but it's the only true inevitably we have. A stunning masterpiece.

The message and the deep impression of this video is wonderful, because it makes stores think. The calm singing voice of Till amplifies the images. I think this is a very good example of how music becomes real art. For me, this is a masterpiece.
I would call the birth of one's child the perfect moment of one's life.
Everyone says it and the worst thing would be to lose it.
My interpretation: The whole thing plays on two different levels: Reality (color) and an "Otherworldly dimension" b/w gray.
The three dark figures (past, present, and future - to take up the "time" metaphor here) are connecting beings between these levels, which plant the soul/life and also bring it back again and let it flow back into the stream of time (symbolized by the sand jet).
The sand monument symbolizes perhaps the life of a single person with the most important people and memories that then remain from so sand.
"Moment, stay a while, I'm not ready yet" is a distored quote from Goethes Faust.
With 42 this year I'm old, but this sticks with me from back in my school days... *sigh*
Time / the moment is so precious. We've all let a perfect moment pass by and not appreciate it. We've all wished we could turn back time, either to experience a precious moment again or to undo a mistake we've made.
This is what this song is essentially about, I think.

My interpretation of this song is it's Till coming to grips with him and the guys are getting older, and there's nothing they can do to stop it. The Imagery also portraying other moments of not being able to stop time as well.

Another thing that came to my mind is the babies being put back in to the mother to be born again on earth and also coming back in a sense they died on earth and are now being born in the other world and their birth or rebirth on earth is them already starting to die because as soon as your born your dying..your dying to live or as Rammstein put it "Wir sterben weiter bis wir leben" "We keep dying until we live" because in a sense what we perceive as dying is us actually being born again into the other world that's why the girl in the end seems happy when she dies because she knows that her death here means her being born over there..if that makes any Sense? This is art at its finest 🥰

The three hooded figures are three sisters known as the Norn or Time Keepers or Time Spinner's they are from northern European and old Norse beliefs. They are very basically Past Present and Future. They also strike a very close resemblance to the Greek/Roman deities The Fates in what they are and represent.

Time is a wierd concept to us, sometimes time won't flyby fast enough when you are young, but the older you get it seems to accelerate, you don't know where all the time has gone you had and you wish some moments back. Yes you are right, time itself doesn't stop but when you are not ready to let somebody go (who ever is ready except if somebody suffers a lot) your time with that person stops. I hope it wasn't too confusing, at least this was my grasp on it.

It for sure is a weird concept indeed.
The embodiment of time, and death are really one and the same when you think about it. Eventually, time will claim us all. And that's true no matter which direction in time you choose to go. All we really have is now.
It’s an impactful concept for sure
My interpretation and thought was time goes on like a continuous cycle and those rare occasions when we are truly happy of course we want time to stop. The showing of the sand and hourglass ⌛ time keeps going and them showing the scenes reversing to me meant a desire to go back in time either to the moment of birth and start our lives over or to before we're even born saying no i don't even want to be born i want to go back before i was even conscious of my own existence and mortality. Them being blindfolded to me was no one knows whats going to happen in the future we don't know what kind of lives these babies are going to have.
I agree the three figures are aspects of time rather than death. One clip showed one of these figures with with the characters along with another larger, hooded and clocked figure that I think represents death. It's not time that takes your life it only measures it.

Death isn't a scary thing lol. It's as natural as breathing. Everything that lives has a beginning and an end. It's nature.
I don't think "relaxing" is the right feeling for this video, as comforting is what I would consider appropriate. As the over all message is that we don't know how much time we have with each other so we need to make the most of each moment. We might feel cheated by the loss of someone, but we all end up at the same place eventually, so it's okay to feel the loss. Just realize that your time will come as well, no matter how much we want to resist.

I do the transparency because a lot of the time it gets copyrighted and the video gets blocked. Hence why i also link the original and implore people to check that as well 🤍 sometimes the opacity and darkness don’t blend well but i do what i can to still be able to post the content and enjoy it with all of you.
