I would like to point out that I would be a great winner of these pickups. I have correctly called every viral video, I am hilarious, and I have been a tireless supporter of the channel. I'm also 5'7" tall and love fried rice and salsa. I also have a dog named Lili that would just love these pickups. She is a big fan of your wife and she loves classic rock. I'm so excited, I really feel like I have a good chance here.
Love the videos you do with your wife and dad!! Can't believe I wasn't subscribed before now. I know my friend Aaron would go BONKERS to have those pickups in his 70's Gibson Les Paul!! If I won I'd straight up be gifting it to him since I know he'd appreciate it more than anyone else I know.
I'm a broke dad who only gets to play after everyone is in bed. I'll probably never be able to afford a Gibson, so Epiphone Les Paul is what they will go in. Would be a very nice upgrade to the stock pickups for sure!
Thanks Lucas - I appreciate all of your videos! It was this video the led me to purchase a set of these pickups. I put them in a Carvin DC127 Koa body/quilted maple top (8.4 lbs). This 20+ year old guitar is now a new guitar! I am totally blown away at how the pickups accentuate the resonance of the guitar. The Alnico II's are fantastic! I can't put the guitar down now! If these are any indicator of PT's other pickups, then I am now their number one fan!
If i win i will put them in my epiphone sg pro, its the only electric guitar i own and i dont have money to buy a better one, so switching out the humbuckers will be a great way of upping my sound a few steps.
I have a 2009 Epiphone Les Paul that would be a great fit. It has a nice big fat neck and these PAF style pickups would really pull the tone to a new level.
A friend of mine makes custom guitars and decided to scrap the neck and body of a prs-style guitar. I luckily took both pieces beforehand and will most likely put the pick-ups in that guitar.
I'd put these in my 80s Ibanez Artist. The pickups have given me so many issues the last few months that it's time for a change (plus the black guitar with silver pickup covers is always a great look).
Hey Lucas, these pick up sounded great with clean tones, and were amazing with some distortion! If I win, I would put them in my Ibanez, it would be a nice upgrade! Cheers!
Those sound amazing. Your playing helps as well! I have a "franken-paul" (generic les paul special) that has good body and neck wood that I'm upgrading.
I want to replace the pickups in my Epiphone Les Paul Classic. I was leaning toward the Bad Axe P90 set. Until I heard the middle position clean tone of these pickups.. THAT is what I'm after!
Lucas it is so great to see your videos again, and i like the new approach. LOVE THOSE PICKUPS!! I would put them in my 2001 Gibson LP Studio, or maybe even my 02 PRS Custom 22. What amp were you playing through that sounded glorious!!
Sound great. I have no HH guitars any more (Guild with minibuckers is as close i get). Grats to the lucky guy/gal who pick these up. Great vids Lucas. MORE CONTENT PLEASE!!! :)
I would be putting these pickups in a Kiesel Osiris with a swamp Ash body mahogany neck and bird's-eye maple fingerboard currently equipped with Kiesel beryllium pickups which are great but are a little bit too bright I feel like these pickups would work wonders on that guitar. Awesome Dental Lucas so glad to see you back after so many years I can remember when you were doing splawn videos awesome amplifiers had no idea they even existed until I found your channel lol
Amazing tones, demo and playing ! Have a beautiful red Firefly semi-hollow I'd love to try these in ! Thanks for the opportunity and informative lesson on low output humbuckers as well !
great channel and content man not sure where they would go either my 1980 les paul or my epiphone les paul, both have pretty good pickups now but there is always room to improve!
I just bought a late 70's Crestline LP (kind of) copy. Also my first guitar Project. These pickups sound great and would be a sweet addition to this Guitar! best of luck to everyone!
The pickups in my les paul sound good but my goodness these sound gorgeous ,i would love to hear them in my gibson. I'd probably do a handstand if i got them :)
Just bought an Ibanez AS73 semi hollow. They need some nice low outputs. the pups in it SUCK and was thinking about those for a replacement. Even have the chrome covers, Perfect!
Would put them in this odd Washburn Lyon L115 that I'm working on upgrading, yet the electronics have never worked but I actually think the neck felt good (didn't have tuners when I got it, put tuners on it strung it then plugged it in to...nothing, and haven't found an accurate wiring diagram online yet)
I always love a Lucas video. I have a custom made (myself) Strat body in a Les Paul layout. Limba body with roasted flame maple top in honey amber. The neck is an Indian Rosewood Tele neck. I have a set of GF Classic II’s (alnico 2 57’s I believe) coming for it but your pickups sound pretty amazing. A comparison could be good.
I have a Peavey raptor that I have been modding and may use the pups there, or possibly in a LP style guitar I plan to mod. Those pups sound really good in the SG.👍
Love the tone from these pickups!!! Has that gutsy sound with plenty of thickness and bawls, also very clean! If I win? They'll be heading to my Epiphone Les Paul Standard PRO Cherry Burst that's dying for some electronic steroids exactly like these :) ! Getting ready to add a locking roller bridge and locking tuners as well so this would be great timing and the perfect touch to finish it up.
A high price point guitar killer! I've wanted to take a low (very low) price point/beginner guitar build it to compete and or blow away some of the ""high price point"" guitars for some time. I just happened to find my candidate a couple weeks ago. A 2000 Epi Les Paul Special. Black. And thats about it describing that lol. I think it would be a lot of fun. (More so putting the guitar snobs in there place) Great channel! Rite on and rock on!
Enjoyed this video, and those pickups sound great & that's coming thru a lap top computer. I can imagine how awesome they must sound in person ! I have an SG I built myself. I've got the action set a little high so I can play slid a little easier with it. So that would probably be the one I'd install the Planet Tone 59er's in !
Hello Lucas i'm a newbie to your channel AND a nubile guitar playing i have found my self at 53 years old learning through RUclips and loving it i have a beautiful Epiphone Dot from the 90s plays great feels great but it lacks with the electronics this guitar would really benefit from some great humbuckers thanks for all the great videos and keep up the great music, Dave Austin.
They sound great in that SG! As always killer playing, I very much enjoy your playing! I just recently grabbed a Gibson Firebird zero as a modding platform since I love to mod everything I own, I think these will be a fantastic upgrade over the factory ceramics! Really love the channel, keep up the amazing work!
Id probably put them in my epiphone special II. I really want to put them in my ibanez but that guitar has some other issue that needs to be addressed first :(
I only wish I could play as good as you do, I like to joke around and say I started playing guitar at 12 years old and 45 years of playing later...I've never gotten any better. I'd put those pickups in my Epiphone SG that I bought off a fellow worker at Walmart.
5:10 that's the tone of Mick Jones / Foreigner: nailed on !! Followed by Jimmy Page... wow ! Neck pickup sounds like Martin Barre in Aqualung These pickups really deliver :) IMO they do belong in an SG :))
If they're anything like the Seymour Duncan 59, I'd put them in my Ibanez PS40, the budget version of the Paul Stanley signature model. If I don't get them, oh well, I'll just go back to looking for deals on the ones Paul uses. It'd also be a good learning experience for me because I've never soldered anything for a guitar before
I would put them in my Epi LP custom pro or maybe this old 1980's ish Yamaha SGB200 that I was going to put EMGs into.... Love your Channel BTW I'm a guitar nerd too !!
As crazy as it may sound I am building a parts caster and I wanted to get a Paul sound and a Strat quack. So these would be perfect for the Paul sound. As a a disabled man of limited cash flow it would be a welcome incentive to practice again. Plus we're neighbors. S. Cakalaly over here. Even if I don't win, thanks for the opportunity. I still think "The Wife is Right" was a great title for your show. Have a good one.
Forget a coffee . Let's buy Lucas a coffee business :)
Wow. Just got my 2018 Gibson Les Paul Tribute, plays great, sounds great, but I believe that with those pickups, it’ll sound even better.
Shout out to all of us broke dads!!! Kids cost a fortune.
Me too. Thank goodness for headphones. Lol
Thanks Lucas - I appreciate all of your videos! It was this video the led me to purchase a set of these pickups. I put them in a Carvin DC127 Koa body/quilted maple top (8.4 lbs). These would be going into an 80's burny les paul.
Nice demo! If I won these (yeah, right) they would go into my Les Paul. Looking forward to the next video! Thanks Lucas!! Rock on!!
I have a 2009 Epiphone Les Paul that would be a great fit. It has a nice big fat neck and these PAF style pickups would really pull the tone to a new level.
I'd like to win these because I have a 6 month old baby and my gear money has been scarce
Id definitely throw those beauties on my '68 Les Paul reissue!
Hey Lucas, these pick up sounded great with clean tones, and were amazing with some distortion! If I win, I would put them in my Ibanez, it would be a nice upgrade! Cheers!
I would put them in my thin body Gibson Les Paul for sure !
Those are awesome pickups! I put those things in les paul.
Those sound amazing. Your playing helps as well! I have a "franken-paul" (generic les paul special) that has good body and neck wood that I'm upgrading.
I would put these in my new epiphone les paul plustop pro, first les paul and I would love it to sound even better.
I've got a little pile of parts waiting for some great pickups to join them so I can build a custom guitar.

Great vids Lucas. MORE CONTENT PLEASE!!! :)

Awesome Dental Lucas so glad to see you back after so many years I can remember when you were doing splawn videos awesome amplifiers had no idea they even existed until I found your channel lol
Love the sound! Waiting to find an in stock SG set neck kit for next build. Will definitely be getting these PUPs!
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity! I'd love to put these pups in an Epiphone Genesis I'd gotten a few months ago. Thanks again, and great channel!
I love single coils, and I have a dual humbucker Ibanez(prs copy). These low output humbuckers would be perfect to put in there!
I would put these in my Epiphone Les Paul. I recently was looking for a videos on distortion pedals and come across your channel and I've been hooked.
Great job glad I found your channel. I like your reviews, they really demo the product.
Great tones...Great pickups, hope the pickups go into some kids Epiphone SG, would be cool to see that upgrade
Amazing tones, demo and playing ! Have a beautiful red Firefly semi-hollow I'd love to try these in ! Thanks for the opportunity and informative lesson on low output humbuckers as well !
I'd throw them into a PRS SE singlecut that's become my project guitar. Slowly upgrading a lot of the components and these pickups would be huge.
They sound absolutely stunning! Really warm and vintage tone. I could put them in a Greco Les Paul or maybe in my HH Strat.
They’ll find a home in a DIY build I’m planning to put together.
Nice demo for them!
Those pickups sound amazing! I wonder if they would fit on my Ibanez...
I always liked the Big Apple Strat . I have a nice playing '96 Squier Strat waiting for pickups like these !
great channel and content man not sure where they would go either my 1980 les paul or my epiphone les paul, both have pretty good pickups now but there is always room to improve!
Definitely gonna put them in my Gibson Les Paul standard 95!
I would be putting these pickups in my Les Paul Studio faded 2016. I feel they would make my guitar that much more closer to that PAF vintage sound.
I just bought a late 70's Crestline LP (kind of) copy. Also my first guitar Project. These pickups sound great and would be a sweet addition to this Guitar! best of luck to everyone!
These would be awesome in my 70's Les Paul! Want want want!
I was wanting this set of pick ups for my
'03 Gibson SG Faded. They sounded awesome.
This would go on my first guitar the epiphone SG that I've only had for a month and I've been playing all day everyday
I would put these pick-ups in my Gibson 68 reissue Les Paul Custom ! Dig it man ! Always looking for that vintage tone !
Since you got me hooked on Grecos I guess it would be my early 70's Greco SG copy which I'm rehabbing.
I have a Sick Black Schecter Solo standard. I think those would top that guitar so sweetly!!! Howdy from Alabama!!! Keep up these awesome vids!!!

Sound great! I'll put those in my 98 gibson les paul DC standard.
I have a Peavey raptor that I have been modding and may use the pups there, or possibly in a LP style guitar I plan to mod. Those pups sound really good in the SG.👍

These pickups sounded fantastic in your SG. I would put them in my SG as well. I loved the tone!!!
Sounds fantastic I’d put them in my PRS custom 24 I’ve been wondering what PAF’s would sound like in it
These pickups would probably help my Ibanez AM93 sound the way I believe it should, especially playing blues and jazz.
Well, I have a set of PlanetTone 57 in my Les Paul Custom. Love them so I would put these in my Standard!
They sound great man! I would be so lucky to give those suckers a test drive. It would give my LP copy new life!
A high price point guitar killer! I've wanted to take a low (very low) price point/beginner guitar build it to compete and or blow away some of the ""high price point"" guitars for some time. So that would probably be the one I'd install the Planet Tone 59er's in !
Great sounding pickups! Mine would go into an Ibanez Artcore archtop.

I just recently grabbed a Gibson Firebird zero as a modding platform since I love to mod everything I own, I think these will be a fantastic upgrade over the factory ceramics! Really love the channel, keep up the amazing work!
I’d put them into a cheap sg faded that I broke the neck off of years ago. It’s since been glued up and painted with a bag of hardware standing by.
Id probably put them in my epiphone special II. I really want to put them in my ibanez but that guitar has some other issue that needs to be addressed first :(
These would go straight into my Ibanez SZ320MH. Would look amazing with the covers, and suit the overall vibe of the guitar.
I imagine they would pair really well with my '85 Peavey Milestone.
A thirty year old Gibson SG - my go to gigging work horse! Love the sounds you get.
I think I would put them in my newly acquired Michael Kelly Patriot.Don't like push -pulls and will probably rewire it anyway...
I would definitely love to try these in my prs SE zack myers model! Thanks for the great content lucas!
I've got an Aria Pro II XX Flying V with pretty much dead pickups that could really use an upgrade.
Thanks for the opportunity to own these babies.. I got just the axe I'd like to try 'em on.
I would put these in a Japanese ES335 from the 80s. Original pickups are long gone, it needs some PAF love.
I'd probably put them in my Les Paul, but they might go good with the SG a well.
I only wish I could play as good as you do, I like to joke around and say I started playing guitar at 12 years old and 45 years of playing later...I've never gotten any better. I'd put those pickups in my Epiphone SG that I bought off a fellow worker at Walmart.
Dang. These sound incredible! I'm considering getting a Harley Benton guitar, so these would be the perfect upgrade for that. :D
I would put these in a S2 PRS Singlecut I have
Got a Les Paul kit to put together here, those pickups would be great !
I would put these pickups in a 1989 Greco SS600 and I'd like to win because I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and gosh darn it, people like me.
I have my late father's '87 PRS Custom 24 in quilted Fire Red burst that I can't seem to find the right pickups for an old Santana sound.
Love the channel man. I have a 2011 Gibson Gold Top 60’s Tribute with P90’s that I’d love to swap out for these!
Paying for shipping is very generous of you.
I would love to replace my EMG'S in my Epi Les Paul with your awesome pickups.
I would put them in my next build (kit build), an ES-335 style guitar!
5:10 that's the tone of Mick Jones / Foreigner: nailed on !! Followed by Jimmy Page... wow ! Neck pickup sounds like Martin Barre in Aqualung These pickups really deliver :) IMO they do belong in an SG :))
Way to go, Lucas! These would sound great in any guitar, but you sold me on the SG.
A sweet sounding replacement for my cheap schecter pickups in my omen-6
Omg this ones would suit perfectly on my Epiphone Les Paul, I really need to switch the original ones!
I would put these in a PRS copy I have . It needs help and these sound great . :)
I would put them in a Washburn Idol. Love the Blues Heritage set I have in my Les Paul.
I wonder if these could the pickups that finally make me sound like I have some talent
I have a Squier that has two humbuckers. Would be good to know how it sounds with this pickups.
I think I will use them on my Fender Stratocaster or on my Epiphone Les Paul
I'd be throwing these in my...I'm not sure yet but ahhh they sound good. Maybe my Les Paul!
Great pickups. Would be nice in my PRS se
My new Epiphone SG-400 pro 1966 reissue could use an upgrade for sure. Thanks for your awesome content!
