Really cool and great timing! I recently picked up a Sheraton that I absolutely love everything about, except for the pickups. Especially the bridge. I'm playing mostly straight up rock/hard rock with a fair amount of dynamics. So, clarity and something that handles both cleans and crunch is what I've been looking for. Thanks for posting this, Lucas. And as always, your playing is top notch!
Thanks for this great demo, Lucas! One recommendation I have always kept in mind when buying a pickup was from Warren Haynes, who said; "Don't get a pickup that will bite your head off!" These pickups fit his recommendation. And I like how you put them through real life playing situations that pretty much cover a lot of genres. To sum it up, they give great sound no matter what guitar, amp, or effect a player might use. And it reminds me of what I tell other players; "There is no such thing as a "heavy metal", a "country sounding", or a "blues pickup". A good pickup, like these cover all those bases. The pioneers of those genres weren't obsessing with gear, they used what they had at the time. And I'm glad you started off with how they sound clean, which is also my standard for any electric guitar and amplifier. If it doesn't give a good, clean sound, it's useless to me. Thanks again! 😊😊
I think that one cool thing with the Gibson wiring, as if you want a little bit of a full or thicker Bridge pickup tone put in the middle and roll the neck pickup back until it gets you what you want
Hey Lucas, do you feel this neck pickup might be benneficial in a baritone tuned to B standard? Been looking for more clarity and note seperation in that position as the stock humbucker just sounds sort of dark and muffled.
FINALLY. Its about time we got to hear these!!
Great tones Lucas, almost sound lke P90's !
Sounds really good with those pick ups. Thanks for the video.
Finally I've been waiting on this

Sounds great, beautiful guitar (es-135? -hard to read headstock)
Yes, it is an ES-135 :)
Examples of what the guitar sounded like before changing the pickups would've been nice, not to mention frequency response graphs ;)
I"ll leave the frequency response graphs to the professionals :P
@@LucasFowler *Jeremy Clarkson voice* How hard can it be ? 😎
You pronounce it "snakeoil"
Exactly
