being able to visualize decisions (via numbers) is really big in any pedagogy. numbers are great because it's practical and it puts the play into perspective for kids.

Hey Matt, first, I've been watching your vids for years now, these are great. I really appreciate that you are teaching the players HOW to play the game. I have coached Little league (my kid's teams of course) and now Ump LL up to the Districts level and some club ball stuff. I see every caliber of team. I see teams where the coach starts practice with infield, has everyone take some swings and that's about it every practice. I call it the focus on 3 or 4 player type of practice. A coach who teaches the the whole team HOW to play baseball, how to move, swing, run, field, throw etc. and all the other intricacies can take a group of young kids and create a team that is unstoppable. The kids want to learn it and great coaching is awesome to watch. You are doing great things for everyone you work with. Thank you.
