--------
In a recent interview with VladTV, rapper Young Bleed opened up about his departure from Tech N9ne's Strange Music label. He revealed that his exit was driven by broken promises and a poorly managed album rollout. Young Bleed, who initially gained success with Priority Records, decided to go independent after his second album. He signed with Select-O-Hits in Memphis, Tennessee, and achieved notable success, selling over 10,000 records and earning $100,000.
Despite experiencing some financial stability, Young Bleed felt the lack of consistent support, likening it to banks offering loans only when you have money. His loyalty to his team kept him from switching labels despite offers from other major labels. Following this, he collaborated with C-Bo's West Coast Mafia Records and worked with Roy Jones Jr., constantly seeking the right platform to eclipse his past accomplishments. Throughout his journey, Young Bleed emphasized the importance of loyalty and maintaining strong relationships within the industry. Развлечения
Young Bleed is a great interview, he does not ramble, he did not drag the story and he actually answer the question fully on topic, no wandering.
Tech been one of my favorites since his music was introduced to me around 2003. This is the first time I’ve heard anything real negative said about him.
You haven’t heard much then man. Being from the Midwest and knowing ppl that are cool w people on that label, they have a lot of negative bs going around about them.
I went to college with tech n9ne's half brother in kc and he always used to talk about how tech fucked him over in the business. I always just thought he was crazy lol.
You never noticed the weird way Ces cru, brotha lynch, all his homies pre anghellic just totally stopped fuckin with him?
@adonis8293 ? Ces cru is still on the label and still tour with him , brother lynch record deal just finished recently , he just put out a song with snug brim and skatterman a whole bunch of those dudes still do stuff together the only one that's been kinda weird is krizz kaliko it seems like I havnt seen them together since kali left the label

Young Bleed reminds me of a gangsta Cat Fish. 😂 Somebody need to do a cartoon for him to voice over! His voice is very unique!
Youngbleed and C Loc put Baton Rouge on the map way before anyone. They brought Boosie in around 97-98 when he was like 13. Good times
Not true it was mc.nero
@@SONEMENT Nero had 1 good song from like 92. C Loc and Young Bleed were dropping banger albums. lol
Travis O'Guin has proven the only business skill he has is financing the Tech N9ne brand.
Every artist theyve signed was left hanging, weakly promoted to a captive audience and mis-managed.
Yeah… it’s the reality of the situation. That’s why Skatterman and Snug Brim initially left. Tech’s the poster-child and the flagship artist and O’Guins puts EVERYTHING behind him. Radio and videos NEVER took off with him, so Travis felt that Tech’s so good and if it didn’t work with him, it wouldn’t work with his lesser artists and thus, they never got that promo.
But Skatterman was like… well, we ain’t Tech. It might work with us. Push our album. And to be fair, their Word on the Streets is a MONSTER of an album. I think a million was put into it. I love that album
I think Rittz Was 1 of the more higher selling artist. He ended up leaving but is still cool with them. Even on the new collabos album.
Krizz Kalico should have gotten way more push and been bigger. Dude was a generational talent. Brotha Lynch’s album trilogy should have gotten more push too. That is easily some of his best work
@@mfknrmxthebangmessiah6012 been a Lynch fan since the 90's & those 3 albums are my least favorite out of his whole catalog. I wasn't feeling the tech sounding production.
@@tucson2portland on the flip, I liked Se7en’s production over Phonk Beta’s. I was also at an interesting time in my life and those albums just hit for me. A lot of Lynch fans don’t like those albums, I didn’t even think Lynch likes them but Dinner & A Movie and Manibalector both slap. Coathanga Strangla was just meh, with some cool moments. Most Lynch fans pick Loaded, pre Strange Season Of The Siccness is my fav. I liked when Lynch did his own beats.
My brother Gattie Tha King was signed to Tecs label. Tech was cool but the front office didn't know anything but Tech promo. As soon as my brother dropped indie "The Pharaoh" they tried to resign him. Smh. They dropped the ball big time.
You lying Gattie the king is my half brother 😂😂
The curse of any label with a top artist already. You're never going to be priority because they got a top guy already. Everything else is really to put more behind and into the big artist up front.

Tech N9ne had a nice roster at one point then things fell apart. The CEO/Rapper ordeal can be great if done right. Jeezy had the same issue with CTE he had a nice roster but couldnt get it together.
Love the way Bleed raps. Last Outlaw was fire!
I always found it funny some people from the south day record as "ruckurd"
"Loc ran it, Bleed ran it, now its my turn." Boosie 2000

I feel like the couple of artists who have come out and said something negative about the way that strange music was pushing them want this record label to do everything for them when it is very clearly the motto of the label to get out and do things on your own which is why all of the artists who have done well On strange music have taken a big hand in promoting themselves. Its a huge label yes but still an independent with minimal ties to big record labels and ways to promote stuff outside their website which they post on constantly The problem is that these guys come to strange music, thinking that they're going to get that fanbase and then promote it to people outside of that fanbase as well. But strange music does not have a lot of pull with people who do not already listen to their label, they're not going to get new listeners for you outside of their listeners.
It was funny when they 1st met lol bleed almost knocked out tec until he realized it was tec lol.....cause tec just came up and didn't say nothing just put his arm - AROUND HIM LOL 😂😂😂
Is this foreshadowing another Tech N9ne interview?
Is it just me or should Young Bleed have a podcast?
It's just you
Shout out to C-BO
C-bo Big Dawg in the Game!
J-Bo is cooler then C-Bo
They're still sleeping on C-Bo though.

If anybody actually knew strange , they’d know young bleed was on strange lane ! Which is a side label to strange music, it’s not the actual strange music roster and label if anything he probably signed onto the deal for merchandise and promo , kind of like how they did with jelly roll and Dax, make the best of ur situation , they can give you the platform it’s what u do wit it that matters man
The label did only last a year tho lmao forgot bout that lol
Few years ago they stated a distributing label called It Goes Up Entertainment
You got money Bleed get your watch fitted
Bleed a real 1
Real one 4sho 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️
It's not tech tho is the thing. Tech is amazing fr he's a dope person. Every issue with that label really ends up tracing ultimately back to Travis o quin . His name is the one on everything and idk what kinda agreement he an tech have but trav calls most the shots and tech usually jus has to back him up. I love em though
True but tech is coceo so it's on him as well
this is the reason kutt calhoun lef strange music. wild that they sign all these artists, but they onli promote tech an err1 else falls off w/ no kind of album promotion or anything else. i believe young bleed's story.
Exactly Kutt, Skatterman, and Snug Brim felt the same way
Young Bleed album should still be in my itunes library.
Preserved i think
Never knew he stayed in garland tx lol
Who ? Lol 😂. Funny that he said he thought he was a west coast cat. Yeah because the wests coast underground created that sound in 1990
