@@vanmachcho4494 they were definitely over enginered and well built. I don't think you'll see many new tractors still working at 60 years old. Thank you for your comment and your support. 👍

Good video. A lot of good information. We also have a 3020 standard model. Been in the family for almost 50 years. It will never leave the farm. It’s is a very fuel efficient tractor. Nothing beats it. Is it true, it’s an identical motor to the 4020 just 2 less cylinders? And is everything from the flywheel back the same as the 4020? Like the trans and rear end?

Thanks I really appreciate it! The 3020 is the same design as the 4020 and a 4020 rear end will bolt up to the 3020 engine but everything from the clutch and input shaft to the axles and 3pt arms are the same design as 4020 but a little smaller. It's awesome that you have a standard. I'm in Missouri and standards are pretty rare here. Thanks for the kind comment and supporting the channel.👍

I forgot the engine question. Yes the 4 cylinder engine is essentially the same as the 6 cylinder 4020 with 2 less cylinders. But they did have to mount a balance box assembly (weighted shafts) under the crankshaft to balance the 4 cylinder. The 4020 engine didn't need this because inline 6 cylinders are inherently balanced. Thanks again
