This was such an emotional moment for Japan as they also dedicate this win for their teammate Fujii Naonobu who passed this year. Seeing them holding to Fujii's shirt and Sekita wearing it made me teary-eyed. I'm sure Fujii in heaven is very happy for you guys. You all did great. 😭

@@Kosenkov_Dmitry Both USA and Japan are already qualified for Paris. Japan has higher set ratio than Slovenia. Since Slovenia lost to US 3 -1, and Japan won against Serbia and Slovenia both 3 - 0, Japan's already qualified even if theyl lost the match to USA tomorrow. If Slovenia wins 3 - 0 agaisnt Serbia tomorrow, Japan still has higher set ratio because Japan beats them today in 3 straight sets.

What a year for Japan! It wasn't an easy journey but they were able to make it!! Thank you for your hard work, RYUJIN NIPPON! 💖
Nishida was severely trolled by some people in Japan during the Nations League. He was suffering from a lack of coordination due to poor health, but despite this, he was criticized so harshly that it was painful to watch. I was in pain. The fact that he wasn't on court when Japan won the bronze medal brought me to tears, even though he still contributed. However, this time he played with a strong belief that he would definitely pick up the ball, and with the determination to score, and I am happy that he was able to play like himself again. And when he was crying from the bottom of his heart, it touched me. The people here know how good Nishida is, and they support him very passionately. Thank you as a Japanese.

The third set syndrome has been the diabolical problem of team JPN 🇯🇵 right at the onset of the tournament, but their unmatched resiliency, drive, consistency, bullet-like tempo coupled with a heartwarming encouragement from the home fans paved the way for a feasible ticket to Paris. It just literally went off Japan's way 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵

It was an astonishing performance of team Japan, an incredibly exciting match to watch ❤. Congratsss
The biggest improvement in Japan's game especially in the last 2 tournaments is the incorporation of their Middle game. Gone were days when the opposing blockers would ignore the MBs and just go to Ishikawa/Ran/Nishida. The MBs command more respect now thus freeing up the already deadly wing hitters of Japan. I'd say their main MBs should be Onodera and Kentaro though.

Kentaro is their best blocker he should have the starter spot the 2nd spot could be interchangeable between onodera and yamauchi but Kentaro’s problem is he’s always dealing with back to back injury

I cried with joy along with the players and supporters. I don't think I've ever witnessed such an emotional moment in volleyball. I don't think I've ever seen so many people cry with joy at a volleyball match. A pure face of joy - the tear!

Great teamwork displayed in this match even the digs and defense made by team Japan most of them are brilliant, even though Roc Mozic made several aces but still mostly those aces did not shake Japan's defense

Why do they always do that when they are losing already. The same happened when they matched up with Finland. So disappointed at Rok tbh. I am one of his biggest fans. Japan deserved this win and Slovenia deserved that loss, for them to get humbled! See you in Paris Japan 🇯🇵🎉
