the referee clearly knew she was wrong but had a big pride, even the commentators were telling her to look up the big screen. while i understand that mistakes happen, the way she officiated the match and overlooking canada’s 4 touches but was firm with her decision on japan confused a lot of people. still, congratulations for advancing to the semis, nippon ! 🎌

@@jurajzdrazil1485 Sadly, we may probably not see Ai-kun play actively as he is listed as a "reserve" for the rest of the VNL 2024 games. His slot is taken by Tatsu Otsuka-kun. While JVA did not announce the reason for this, i think it has to do with Ran-kun's recurring knee injury which would be aggravated if he continues to play actively in the present VNL. And considering that the Paris Olympics is just a month away, it is best for him to rest and heal.

That's a running bump set. That kind of set is not specific for anyone. It's just to keep the ball up high for any spiker to swing on it. But it still call a set since it still have tempo which is crucial to maintain the rhythm of the overall play. Becuz if the ball travel without any tempo (only direction) , then it's going to be hard for any spiker to time their spike n most probably the ball will end up at the net which happens all the time to some team.
