Thank you for the video! Just ordered a Pickleball net to use on our large driveway, but don't want permanent lines due to HOA. I just ordered some yellow Scotch Brand Poly-tape. I'm hoping it sticks and holds up well without being too difficult to remove. I also ordered a 100' measuring tape to make it easier to measure and square-up our court and white chalk line to snap it in place before putting down the tape.

What kind of tape is it? I don’t want it leaving anything on court when I take it off

I recommend 3M refinishing masking tape, never leaves an residue when you pull it up. amzn.to/3XRCfyC

Is this taping temporary? I mean can it easily be removed after usage so the tennis court is not marked up and hinders its original function

Yes, taping a court is temporary. If u use the right tape (links in the description) there is no tape marks when u pull it up.

Looks like a great ideA. What kind of tape do you use? How good is the adhesion?

I asked Dan at Green Valley and he replied - I was using masking tape but it would often rip when it was unrolled. We switched to polyethylene. It doesn’t tear.

No one gives the proper start/end mark points. Do the measurements mark from inside tape to inside tape, or outside tape to outside tape? With the tape you are using, depending on your measurement start/end point, it could be a difference of 3-4 inches. Please clarify. Thank you

The line is part of the court, so you measure to the outside of the line. The non-volley zone line is part of the kitchen, so you measure 7 feet from the net to the outside of the kitchen line. Measurements go from outside of the tape to outside of the tape.

@@PickleballisLife mens single tennis is very fast the way they move on the court and have to move. Reflex volleys are fast. The balls are served at 145 mph thats pretty fucking fast. And youre not allowed to talk during tennis or during pickleball points presumably so idk what the social difference is.

Most Pickleball is open play so every 20 mins or so you're meeting new and playing with different people. As a single person you can go to a typical Pickleball court and play for 2 or 3 hours, meeting people and having fun. My experience with my 30 years of tennis was I always needed to plan a game ahead of time and I literally played with the same 10 guys for 30 years. With Pickleball I've played for 5 years and probably met and played with 500 different people. Pickleball is Life!

@@PickleballisLife why ruin tennis courts for that? play at a parking lot or near a bar, you can meet a lot of people there
