- I finally get to test out my nitrous kit on the LT1 Camaro. The car is currently on a 75ish shot of Nitrous! It was a total blast and if you have any questions ask in the comments. Can’t wait to take this to the track!

I love that folks are still into these 4th Gens. Bought my first (98 SS) back in 2009 and loved these rattle traps since. I have a semi built 01 T/A WS6 that I've been working on here and there over the last 6-7 years and it's nothin fast in comparison to what's on the street these days, made a tick over 500whp and that's more than enough to put a smile on my face! Have fun m8 and stay safe out there.

I fell in love with them as a little kid when I saw my first one at the race track and I said one day I’d have one and here we are and I do have one and now I just want to try and bring fun content for people to watch and maybe I’ll just have enough impact one day to lead other people to what they want to accomplish.
500 hp is a lot
I love wen it's the first Time spray nitrous. Nitrous it's a power of create a smile on your face . I like this.
For me never sold my nitrous kit for other supercharger. Big up from France ;-)

What spark plugs? How much timing did you take out? Get that pressure up over 900 it will really hit.
Yeah I tried it once the pressure got there and it made a difference, the plugs are t55s or something right now, when I go up to a 100 shot I’m gonna use tr6 plugs. No timing pulled for the 75 shot, my tuner said I shouldn’t need to with the tune that’s on it but at 100-150 I’m gonna have to pull some.
What supporting mods do you have for the 70 shot? Abt to buy a 100 shot kit for 300$ off Facebook and my lt1 is stock I’ve been told to use colder plugs and to get a timing box so I can pull timing is there anything else I would need to reliably shoot the motor 100k miles
@@AnnoyedHot-AirBalloons-cf8jd so I ran 1 step colder plugs, and I had a tune done by strong Speedworks on it prior to install, I asked him what I would need timing wise and he said he wouldn’t pull timing until a 100 shot, he said about 2 degrees or so at 100 shot with a wet kit and I’d be alright.
@@AnnoyedHot-AirBalloons-cf8jd I also had a window switch to control when it would spray and a fuel pressure safety switch, so my system was very safe overall.
did you pull timing with the nitrous? wondering what the easiest way is on a lt1 or if i even need to bother just go colder gapped down plugs for 125 shot
For the 70ish shot I didn’t pull timing. My tuner said not to worry about it until 100 shot and then pull 2 degrees. Unfortunately never made it there because of some coolant line issues and bad radiator. From that point I switched to a turbo build.
Hey I got those bling lights. I got a question for you as im not that great at car stuff. Can I run those off the factory light dial? And do you think I can run those and another pair as fog lamps. So six in total. I already have factory fog lamps on the car.
Yes 100% that’s how I did mine, I cut the wires on the factory headlights and wired mine into them with connectors. So mine just go right in place of the factory lights meaning they work exactly the same. And I hooked the halos up to the fog lights so they work off of the fog light switch. That way I can run with just halos when I use the fog light switch because I don’t have fog lights on this car.

@@jasonludwick3504 no I don’t have fog lights. The halos on the headlights operate under my fog light switch, I removed the factory ones and put grilles. The headlights halo has a separate wire from the headlight bulb in the center

these lt1s love nitrous its easy , cheap and safe. I bought a push button kit for less than 400$ dry kit and I went from running 9.3 1/8 mile to low 8s on 100 shot so 150-200 shot should take me into 7s. if you have ob1 car you can tune yourself in tunerpro.
@@fantasma5764 I’m hoping to bump mine up to a 150 shot during the season this year and pull a little timing for safety and see what it runs. It ran a 13.1 on just motor before.
I've been a Camaro fan for a very long time and my first LT1 car that I had was a 95 Z that I stroked the motor to a 383 and ran nitrous as well. It was a lot of fun playing around with that car, and if you have the patience you can get them to run pretty dang good. The best quarter mile time it put down was an 10.2 @ 133mph. Well at this very moment it’s torn apart to have a turbo installed. So hopefully before too long it’ll be running even better than before!
What is done to it?
Just little things like headers, exhaust, cold air intake, couple other odds and ends but nothing inside the motor. Then it has a ton of tubular suspension work, mild built 10 bolt and mild built 4l60e
@@badmaro304 cool mine has ported heads a cam and a t56. Plan on a 8.8 with 373s and a 150 shot to start

She said she actually liked it. Granted this was maybe a 70 shot but wasn’t quite up to pressure yet on a stock car. She said it felt like it wanted to come off the ground, which might be a little much for a maybe 350whp but it made a difference.
