While yes Grier is responsible for all of this, we can’t fail to mention that McDaniel is in equipped to be a HC in the NFL and Grier made the hire. This guy has never been an actual OC and play caller. Grier thought he was so smart with this hire. He thought he could salvage this Flores build by firing Flores, KEEPING HIS DEFENSE, and just “fix the offense” by installing McDaniel. IT JUST DOESN’T WORK THAT WAY. Different coaches have different football philosophies. They bring in a guy so green that he agrees to be forced to keep the previous coach’s defensive staff! That doesn’t EVER HAPPEN. That’s weakness in itself! No respectable HC would have ever done that. That’s why our coaching candidate list was ONLY McDaniel!
I agree to an extent... but I think Miami was so odious to come to they had to take what they could.. remember not so long ago no GM wanted to work here and we hired Hicky and then Tannenbuam and Grier to fill the void... I do agree Grier is far different than the image we are presented and he has far more control than many beleive. Mcdaniel clearly was ultra green and we should have developed him differently... but we love poor framework... sadly. This will be a VERY interesting offseason!!!
Grier just does not aim at the bullseye, just scaters darts all over the place. Five Tight Ends over 3 yrs and now we have Jonu. Eight WR after Jarvis, then trade an entire draft for Hill. Phillips Chubb injuries bad luck but...to survive in the NFL impact players are necessary and a roster made up like this equals 500 FB.

The owner is a major cancer, he wants to run the show, he is like the Dallas guy Jones.!!!...Who wanted to draft tua???...who insisted to throw him in before he was ready????....who wanted o tank and threw out Flores????....who gave tua the bag besides everyone saying let him play out his 5th year????....who got tua to bad mouth Flores cause he has a court beef with him????.....and the who goes on.....the man is a disaster....Who lost a draft pick for tampering????....who gave up a ton of picks to take in a despicable human being and selfish football player to help tua take us to nowhere?????...who is overpaying all these over the hill free agents, just to bring in tickets????.....the man is a cancer....if he wanted to build a team he would have given the keys to a Real HC (Payton maybe???)...and gotten his ass out of the way....Keep buying tickets and merch boys and girls....reward the money mongrel.....!!!!!!!!!!!!
