He didn't have anything to prove because he was already a megastar when he married SHK but his fame skyrocketed due to DOTs in China just like Jeon Ji Hyun's fame sky rocketed from her drama My Love From the Star despite her already being a superstar in Korea. To say Song Joong Ki was NO ONE before he met SHK is ignorance.

Lol. I love a lot of shows SJK stars in but I don't generally think he's memorable the way she is, in general... like a different actor could take his roles and be just as good or better. He's sort of mid. But he's been just as respectful after the divorce as she has, I am pretty sure they have a legal agreement or just protecting their careers. Talking about your relationship failures isn't typically favorable to your public image.

They were worried about me being judged by others, they were also worried about it could impact my future marriage. But they couldn’t handle it anymore and they recently got divorced. I’m almost 40 and I think they should have divorced 30 years ago.
Although I did not know the full story of their divorce until I watched Steph, I shed a tear in Song Hye Kyo speech when she got the award for The Glory and dedicated it to her mother who she mention went through a lot from the last two years. The love of mother and daughter is quite admirable 😍 Im rooting more on Song Hye Kyo and more men need to man up.

I'm totally with Mr Mango Butt on the people losing their charm when things are bit too perfect. There's just something unique and memorable when someone has maybe slightly asymmetric eyes or a slant to their smile.
And dont forget SJK announces his new relationship a few days before The Glory, and after that netflix announce Song Hye Kyo will not do any interview regarding her drama.
